  • Persistence Bonuses added to rolls in Soluna City
  • Frostval '11 Mecha bug fix

    Frequently Asked Questions - Gameplay
    Q) Where can I find the new Knife and Spork Challenges?
    A) Walk 3 screens left from the starting screen. The K&S can be found directly left of the Soluna Police Department. Once inside, talk to Maegwyn and click "More!" to access the newest challenges. Remember that you must have completed Challenge 10 to proceed to the next set of challenges.

    Q) In what ways were the Wranglers buffed?
    A) From the Design Notes:
    quote:

Wrangler Buff! And now from Vivi, the Wrangler mecha buff details:

Specials are listed as NSC (SC, NG)

    - Hit 2: +55 (65,75% damage
    - Hit 3: High (Guaranteed, Guaranteed) chance for a crit

There's a chance the gun will jam - when it does, no damage is done but there's a good (guaranteed, guaranteed) chance for a stun and your bonus increases by 10 (15, 20) for the rest of the fight

    BA, 2 Hits: ---> CD= 2
    - Hit 1: lowers immo resist by 50 ( 80, 120)
    - Hit 2: Good (guaranteed, guaranteed) chance for a crit, tries to stun

    Shoulders, 5 Hits:---> CD=2
    - in creasing damage by +5 (10,+15%) for every Hit
    - Good (high, guaranteed) chance for an extra Hit, extra Hit crits ( same base damage of Hit 5)

    Head, 2 Hits: ---> CD = 5
    - Hit 1: blinding NoT, - 5 (8,10) BtH per turn for 5 turns

    Release Overview - What's New?
  • Permanent, less powerful versions of the Dharmahp added to the Star Captain's Club
  • Bug fixes

    Frequently Asked Questions - Gameplay
    Q) How does the Dharmahp-P differ from the now Rare Dharmahp?
    A) The triggers were nerfed significantly to (10%, 8%, 5%), in addition to damage reduction. The Head now gives only a Bonus BoT of +7 per turn, and the Front Arms only nerfs Defense by -30.

    quote:

    ORIGINAL: Vivi
The Back Arm for example is far from doing 175% damage before triggers. The head also lost its healing special entirely, and several other specials on various weapons were reduced in effectiveness.

    Release Overview - What's New?
  • Planet Romero gets two new quests with an all-new enemy
  • The Vend-O-Tron gets new weapons

    Frequently Asked Questions - Gameplay
    Q) I've heard there is a new enemy called EC05. Where can I find it?
    A) The EC05 can be found in the EbilCorp Lab Gamma quest, in which you will fight a series of mecha enemies before battling on foot. Since the enemies in that quest are generated randomly, you may have to abort the quest numerous times before you encounter the EC05.

    Frequently Asked Questions - Storyline
    Q) Why doesn't our character recognize Jemini, the Mystery Woman in the Secondary R&D Building quest?
    A)
    spoiler:

The events on Planet Romero take place before the Dragonoid Saga, as the planet can be accessed directly after finishing the Specific Hospital quests. It is quite possible that our character has no knowledge of Jemini or her wormhole device at this point in the storyline.

    Release Overview - What's New?
  • Rainbow Raid War: Boss Fights and War Rewards Shops (weapons and starship items) now unlocked!
  • New Back Arm for April Fools' Day: Jack in the Box
  • New weapons in the Vend-O-Tron Shop on Planet Romero

    Frequently Asked Questions - Gameplay
    Q) How are the SC and NG versions of the Jack in the Box any different from the NSC version?
    A)
    quote:

    ORIGINAL: Vivi

Crit chance goes up a bit, and the randomizing special is better.

Basically to decide how much to buff/debuff each stat, the special does something like this:
You start with a point pool (300 NSC, 340 SC, 380 NG). The weapon takes a point, picks a combatant to assign it to (you or the enemy), picks a stat (boost/bonus/defense), and then decides if it will be a positive point or a negative point. The weapon is weighted to work in your favor so usually your stats will end up positive and their stats will end up negative, but the SC and NG versions have "better" weights so in addition to getting more points to assign there's a greater chance that the point will be positive for you or negative for the enemy.

  • New quest on Planet Romero

    Frequently Asked Questions - Gameplay
    Q) How do I beat the minigame in the the quest?
    A) There is a countdown at the top of the game window. Keep battling and defeating Zombies to keep the red health bar at the bottom of the window full, because if the red bar drops below zero, you must start over. (Note: Ejecting anytime during a fight will also count as a forfeit.) If you can keep the health bar until the countdown ends, you win the game. Release Overview - What's New?
  • New quest on Planet Romero - Transmit to Artix

    Frequently Asked Questions - Gameplay
    Q) What is the trick to the buttons?
    A)
    spoiler:

  • First room, click the button on the wall. Triggers the mecha to punch out the scalpel-wielding foe on the stairs.
  • Next room with the airlock, click the button on the wall (again). Airlock opens and the enemy gets pulled into space.
  • Click the Arcade machine nearest to you (about where it says Assault Mecha). It'll tip over the other one in a domino effect and take out the nearby foe.
  • DON'T CLICK ON THE BUTTON! That triggers the enemy to attack you. Click the tiny switch next to the TV. The TV falls on the enemy.
  • NEITHER BUTTON HERE. The one on the console triggers the windshield wipers and the back one on the wall triggers the PA. Click on the big red lever to engage the emergency brake and send the enemy careening of the screen.
