Warlord of Nulgath

FO Earth/Darkness armour. Attack is two hits.

MC: Poisons the monster at the end of your turn, as long as you attack your opponent with a Player attack, weapon Special, or spell (1 round; power:1.25*[hits connected]/[hits attempted]). The poison follows your attack element (specifically, last hit of your attack, in case you're doing something crazy). The monster can resist with a save at a +0 bonus (inflict with MAINSTAT/LUK; resist with END/LUK. MAINSTAT is INT for a Magic attacks, DEX for a Ranged attacks, and STR otherwise.)

Paragon Plate

FO Darkness armour. Attack is two hits.

MC: Pretty much the same as the Zombie Master Axe.

Grows more powerful as you use it - killing monsters and absorbing their souls and whatnot. You have a [# of rounds that you had the armour equipped] / [total number of rounds in the battle] chance of capturing a soul. ([# of rounds that you had the armour equipped] increases at the end of your turn.) If successful, then you increase the [soul count] by the monster's power (so normal monsters are +1; bosses are +2; etc).

You can only capture a soul if the monster is level [armour buy level]-10 or higher. (No beating up Lv0 zards to get the boost!)

The bonus is +10% *[soul count]/25 damage. This applies to normal player attacks, weapon specials, and spells (spells get /2 the boost, and Magic player attacks+weapon specials get *4/3 the boost).

The [soul count] resets on login.

Click on the armour's chest to see how much charge you have.

big E -> RE: Armours - Read the first post! (2/24/2016 2:35:03)

Thanks Imry, two questions.

What's the soul count cap for Paragon? (25 is vaguely implied from the formula but not stated anywhere.) I see game-breaking potential if there is no cap...
Yep! ~IMR

Human Fisher - why is Magic SP cost almost double the Melee cost, rather than *1.25 like for most other armor skills?
Because eleComp is voodoo? *waves hands* ~IMR

mew626 -> RE: Armours - Read the first post! (2/24/2016 8:02:07)

I don't understand IMR's explanation of Big E's question. Can you clarify what that means?

What Orodalf said. ~IMR

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: Armours - Read the first post! (2/24/2016 8:31:09)

Does Warlord of Nulgath's Poison stack with other sources thereof? There are reports that it doesn't, for example, stack with Chimeran.

It should stack with poisons of the same element. So it'll only stack with Chimeran poison if you're doing Harm damage. ~IMR

Makes sense. Thanks.

@Above: It means that EleComp does weird things to SP costs.

Brasca123 -> RE: Armours - Read the first post! (2/24/2016 12:49:37)

what would be the ele comp of human fisher if it wasn't spent in the SP cost? just for future reference

~IMR

ArchMagus Orodalf -> RE: Armours - Read the first post! (2/24/2016 20:02:42)

@IMR: Ah, so the thing is, Nulgath's Corruption (if not Harm) will overwrite Chimeran's poison... is that intended?

I *think* so. In general, if you try to inflict a second poison while one is still active, then the "most powerful" one takes effect, for some definition of "most powerful". ~IMR

Veleqwii_Fox -> RE: Armours - Read the first post! (2/24/2016 21:47:50)

For Human Fisher, shouldn't the Magic SP elecomp get *4/3?

Ok nevermind. I guess elecomps just generally favor Ranged skills over Magic.

Ianthe -> RE: Armours - Read the first post! (2/26/2016 20:32:06)

Coming soon to a Token Package near you: Lazer Blazer

FD Energy armour. Normal attack is two hits.

Skill: You have three seconds in which you can click the mirror (if you want) to re-position it. You can click on it as many times as you want. If you don't click on it, then this is a normal skill. If you click on it so that the mirror is pointed towards you, then it damages you equal to 50% of the listed damage. If you click on it so that the mirror is pointed at the sky, then it does no damage. If you click on it so that the mirrors are properly aligned, then it gains a free +8.5 BTH.

The skill is treated as a spell. It's Ranged if STR+DEX >= INT*3/2 or if STR/5+DEX/20 > INT/4; otherwise, it's Magic. If it's Ranged, then it uses STR/5 + DEX/20 (+LUK/2 on a LS) for damage.

Ianthe -> RE: Armours - Read the first post! (3/26/2016 2:31:16)

Now in the Champion of the Light Realm Z-Token package: Light Realm Champion

[Fully Offensive Light armour. Normal attack is 2 hits.]

Still FO Light, first skill comes in Cleaving Radiance and Brilliant Radiance, armour-like attack and spell-like attack, respectively, and when selecting one you can also choose if it'll be MP or SP cost. CR gets ele-comp to discount the cost, BR gets ele-comp to boost damage. Wrath of the Light Realm is now always available, still spell-like, costing SP or MP (player choice), and now sacrifices 100% Melee of the skill's damage to attempt a permanent Blind effect on the foe. 100% Melee is worth 60 MRM, has a -20 penalty to the save, so /0.7, then give /0.85 since these will require a hit, then /10 due to it being a permanent effect, and finally /3 since it's split among 3 hits, so a total of ~3.36 MRM. So each of the 3 hits that lands attempts a permanent -(3.36 x MobLightRes) BtH Blind on the foe, -20 penalty to save, inflicts with WpnStat/LUK vs mob INT/LUK. Updated 28 Apr 2024

Light Armour, MC is a standard eleComp weapon-type skill (so eleComp lowers SP cost). FSB is a spell-type skill (eleComp boosts damage), gives up 50% Melee to attempt to inflict permanent Blind. Has a -20 save, so 70% success rate, if the mob fails it gives -(5*EleComp*Mob'sLightRes*Hits/3/sqrt(mobPower)) BtH for the rest of the battle (read, 9999 rounds).

[Armor skill has its element locked to Light, but it follows your weapon type. This is treated as a normal player attack. It does *2 Base/Rand damage, and non-LS stat damage is brought up to proper skill levels (to STR/4, etc). If you're wielding a Magic weapon, then it does *4/3 Base/Rand damage. It respects your weapon's effects, and your weapon Special can occur. As EleComp, it gets a reduced SP cost.]

[FSB skill is treated as a spell. It's Ranged if STR+DEX >= INT*3/2 or if STR/5+DEX/20 > INT/4; otherwise, it's Magic. If it's Ranged, then it uses STR/5 + DEX/20 (+LUK/2 on a LS) for damage. Three hits. If at least one hit connects, then it teleports both of you into the Light Realm, and the monster is inflicted with Blind. The monster can resist with a save at a -20 penalty (inflict with STR (weapon is in Melee mode) or DEX (Ranged mode) or INT (Magic mode) and LUK; resist with INT/LUK. If used again, then the new blind penalty is added to the old one (so it can go -5 for the first use, then -10, then -15, etc).]

Frogzard Rider

MO Earth armour.

Normal attack is:
  • 50% of doing its bite+slash attack. Two hits, 80% damage.
  • 50% of doing its breath weapon attack. One hit, 120% damage, +2 BTH lean.

    The Lv1 version is available in the Frogzard Hunter's shop. The others are available at the end of the Frogzard Hunter Quest 1. Because of this, the Lv1 version is not upgrade-able into the Lv15 version, but all the others are. Err, like, they are able to be upgraded to the next version. They're not all able to be upgraded to the Lv15 version. Stupid English grammar. Because of this, the Lv1 version is not upgrade-able, but all the others are.

    Numbers thanks to In Media Res. Description and image thanks to Carandor. Correction thanks to KlawdStrife.

    Analysis

    Starts off as a standard Neutral armour attack:
    Type									G
    Level	1	15	35	55	75	95	115	135	150
    PowLvl	1	15	35	55	75	95	115	135	153

    BR%	103	145	205	265	325	385	445	505	559
    Stat%	106.6	199	331	463	595	727	859	991	1109.8
    BTH	0	1	4	6	9	11	14	16	19
  • Attack #1 does 80% damage. With two equally powerful hits, each hit does *1/2 damage.

  • Attack #2 does 120% damage. In addition, it gains +2 BtH and deals *85/87 damage.

    All this has ALREADY been factored into the above numbers.

    Updates
