if you want constant 150 dragons could go to dragonstone quest for the dragonblade and do the essences they should all be lvl150

Welp, you can't use your dragon blade in there can you? The best alternative I've found is the Gauntlet Day at Legends Of Lore. Dracomorgify+DB makes it very easy to burn through everything but the Naga.

Essences have become much faster since I discovered the amazing potential of the mutant dragon blade. It makes the whole thing a breeze. You attack till resistances get swapped and then proceed to spam armor skills to kill it. I have a powerful skill for every element except fire, so my runs have gotten much faster.

Light - WKZ: Radiant Lance; OP skill, love it.
Darkness - AoS: Time to Burn; Easy fight, can use it to max out your SP as skill only uses hp
Energy - Taladosian: Kamehameha; This fight is always very quick
Water - Moglord Tortress: Hydro Cannon; Quickest one by far
Earth - Frogzilla: Nuclear Breath; Don't really need skill because regular attacks are pretty powerful due to elecomp. Ultraguardian Shield helps regen SP when I block attacks so it's a plus here. Another pushover fight.
Wind - FaTS: Laundry Day; Can't really spam skills for majority of fight, instead use Kusangi Sword for auto hitting Wind Dragon during shield. There's a damage cap for every hit so your damage per hit isn't really going to take a hit. Mana Trap is optional. Only fight I needed to use Resistance Misc with (Feather of Roc, but Urn of Prevailing Winds works just as well).
Ice - HSVV: Cryo-Chrono Blast; Also very quick and easy.
Fire - Here I use HSVV and celerity from Shadowfeeder Pendant to spam armor skills. I can usually survive 1 hit and sometimes it misses because of Shield of Agonies Blood, so I get an extra turn of using the skill. Slowest fight next to Wind.

Use the Fruitcake Brick during attacks with Mutant Dragon Blade and the last ~1.5k hp to regen SP for skill spamming.

I can manage to kill them all quick with 0 END, I haven't struggled with low hp except for times I got careless with wind essence and used potions. I did all of this with no elemental resistance misc(except for wind), in fact it was combination of Fruitcake Brick + Legendary Shadow Crystal 1 on Minotaur day or RanGer's Scope.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Skull Kid.

Farm: RA

Char: level 55 pure mage

Looking for somewhere to farm as close to as drakath in xp ( cant beat him with 5 pots).

Link to char page

Shalnark -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (10/20/2017 10:54:54)

@vinshel

You can beat him already!!! Just upgrade your AoS set into level 55 first. Then, get Evolved Dragonblade from Soraya in Granemor to alter his Light Res into Dark Res and buy also Old Belfount Souvenir Snowglobe (from The Return of Artix quest) as your Misc for your great protection. Attack him first with your Evolved Dragonblade to turn his Light Res into Dark Res, and if it succeeds equip your RoS weapon and spam all the way the Skill of your armor or just spam Destruction Burst. That's all!!!

vinshel -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (10/20/2017 14:59:49)

I will try this, thanks a lot!

bluchill -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (10/24/2017 23:59:18)

Hey, my 2nd needs to farm gold cause we did some shopping in the last couple of weeks which halved her gold, any suggestions?

vinshel -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (10/26/2017 9:16:21)

@above
Queen hybee (anniv 10th ->seekrat) - burst down with darkness spell , she can kill you with SP skill (3 turns in) so care

or zardnado if you have the painting for it

or abyssal worm at deren estate ports

bluchill -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (10/26/2017 10:29:13)

I was just about to edit my post above and give this update lol

with my 2nd - mage, Queen Hybee is perfect, she dies in 2 - max 3 turns

Insightful UG Robes + Forgotten's Harrowing Totem + Elahi Ikm of Osiris + Nightmaregon + Poelala guest + Destruction Burst

my 2nd takes some serious damage too, but never enough to die and fail, so it's perfect and fast cash haha

now what about for a warrior tho? any alternatives to Hybee? cause she tends to block melee more... I don't have zardnado, I wasn't active at the time, and I'll look into that worm, but I don't have a deren estate

vinshel -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (10/27/2017 5:01:12)

@above if you can get dragonblade then essence dragons are good/ if you can do them without DB then even better

Also struggling for warrior here as well. Currently i'm doing erebus for xp and fear drake for gold.

I will probably be doing abyssal wyrm at 150 for gold though (700k per battle)

bluchill -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (10/28/2017 0:08:01)

would you please share the location of that abyssal wyrm!?

edit: I'll never own a deren estate so no alternatives? where is that fear drake? I haven't been too active in a while so I'm not familiar with farming spots, the only one that's still great from the last few years is Q Hybee, and that's fast only for mage

edit: @ below.. awesome! Fear Drake is perfect, with Monolith and Greater Water Orb, he goes down relatively fast, thank you for the tip!

vinshel -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (10/28/2017 4:07:07)

Fear drake is among the list like hybee. 10th anniv-->seekrat->feardrake

Keridan -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (11/11/2017 13:18:28)

Farming Place: ???
Build: Mage
Notes: Hope I did this right. I'm looking for help trying to figure out how to EXP and Gold farm, since I want to get up to 150 as soon as I can. I'm currently 106, and random battles simply are too, well, random to reliably farm. Any help would be appreciated, and I'd also like to know how to access whatever is recommended for the grinding since I'm very incompetent at figuring where anything is in this game without help.

EDIT: I think I found a good grind spot now. Should have gone looking more.

soska -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (12/1/2017 17:42:44)

Werewolf players can farm Essence Dragons by applying Fear on them then using Terror Eater to nuke all dragons you will only have issue handling Wind one so you can flee and repeat

Items needed :

Werewolf Form
Terror Visage
Terror Eater
CIT

For better results you can use:
Dunamis Guest and pet for Warriors
ShadowFeeder Pendant in case if the Essence dodge one of your hits

Farming Place: Twilly vs Zorbak, Drakath
Char: level 90 pure mage
Notes: hoping to find a good place to exp, i've been lvling up where i am since level 70, isnt there any place better? I saw essence of void dragon but after slaying all dragons in the quest i just dont fight void dragon, i get the dragonblade and leave. Any good place for my level range and good for pure mage?

Thanks!

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (12/16/2017 15:40:14)

have you read over http://forums2.battleon.com/f/fb.asp?m=22144568 ?

Also EoVD was from in the void IIRC but is no longer available.

lostdignity -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (12/24/2017 16:24:00)

Character level 139
Build: Hybrid
Farming Place: Queen Hybee? Tyrant beast ? Am Boss?

I tried farming Am-Boss. I can kill it sometimes but I take a lot of damage. I first equip Um of prevailing winds, offensive test armor, notus and blade of agony blood wait till Am-Boss finished using the wind attack, then I switched my armor to morningstar traditional and shield of sand but I still get a lot of damage. I killed Queen Hybee faster. I am not sure if I should continue with Queen Hybee or Am Boss

this is my character page. where should i farm for best XP. mostly using melee follow by range weapons.

Currently farming at guardian tower fight carnex - right left hand and the eyes. about 10k XP in a few mins time, anywhere faster than this?

icyboiz -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (1/12/2018 23:21:31)

it's been 24 hours, im requesting help for where to farm

lorddeath145 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (1/15/2018 13:54:03)

@icyboiz try am-boss (travel map> dragon spine> wyvern rider war) at war screen far left bush

you will need wind resistance, as well as fire dmg

dragonfire1423 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (1/17/2018 9:42:17)

@icyboiz

Lord Death is right, right now your best options are Queen Hybee and Am-Boss (Queen Hybee is at Twilly > Anniversary > 10th > Seekrat)

However having made a warrior, they're both a pain in the rear. A lot slower than mage-farming, especially in this balance climate. Keep a good wind armor, a decent earth armor (Horde's does wonders, as well as the uhm... Sand shield thing. Shifting Sands I think?), and a good fire weapon for Am-Boss.

For Hybee use a halfway decent light armor (Your Moonchaser is fine) and a Wind armor for when she nukes (Warriors 99% of the time definitely do NOT out-dps her.)

When you want to know how to switch between the two: They both level up every 20 levels, only Hybee 6 levels later.
Am-Boss: 20/40/60/etc
Hybee: 26/46/66/etc

icyboiz -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (1/17/2018 20:08:18)

thanks, currently doing it at am-boss with moonchaser, doing good. ez kill. 19k xp. however hybee only give me 9k XP. what lvl do i have to go for her to give more xp?

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (1/17/2018 21:11:34)

Hi, im back. im currently lvl 115 now training at am-boss. how long do i train here for? where's the next place i should go?

Mister Jeddy -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (2/25/2018 19:24:12)

Is there any other monster that is quick to kill and gives more experience than Am-Boss?

lorddeath145 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (2/28/2018 18:48:01)

Quoted directly from brasca from previous post in this forum to save some time in hunting or waiting, granted it is best used for mages

Quoting TRB from his Power leveling mage guide

quote:

Level 1- 25 : Questing for necessary items & random battles
Note: The idea at the lowest levels is to equip yourself with the items you will need for higher levels. You will upgrade those items using the shop item level upgrader. See "level-by-level" below for list of items and when to acquire them. If you have acquired all the items you need, it is highly recommend that you complete the 10th anniversary quest while still at the lower levels. If you have all the items you need and have completed the 10th anniversary quest, then simply battle random monsters until you reach level 26.

Level 26-84 : Drakath the Undead Dragon
Equipment Needed: Darkness Armor or Pyromancers Robes, Darkness Shield or Celtic Wheel, D-Burst Spell.
Strategy: Spam D-Burst spell. Drink potions to recovery mana when necessary.
Notes:
* Against Drakath the D-Burst spell will default to fire damage. Once you can acquire Pyromancer Robes, you should.
* At level 45 you can grab the Celtic Wheel shield and use it to increase your intelligence (and therfore your damage). The wheel cannot be upgraded using the shop item upgraded, but it's fairly quick to obtain and worth the time.
* When you reach level 50 you will need potions to defeat Drakath for several levels. Set a minimum HP level and always drink a HP potion if you reach that minimum. If you are above your minimum HP cast the D-Burst spell. If you are under the required MP to cast the spell, then drink an MP potion.

Level 85-89 : Tyrant King
Equipment Needed: Pyromancers Robes, Celtic Wheel, D-Burst Spell.
Strategy: Spam D-Burst Spell. Use Celtic Wheel to increase intelligence. Do not use imbue with lore. If you do use imbue with lore, you will occasionally run out of MP so be prepared to drink an MP potion or recover MP using Pyromancers Robes.
Note: You will need to be level 10 beastmaster to access Tyrant King. See "level-by-level" below for details.

Level 90-105: Am-Boss
Equipment Needed: Pyromancers Robes, Celtic Wheel, D-Burst Spell, Secondary Fire Spell.
Strategy: Spam D-Burst Spell. Use Celtic Wheel to increase intelligence. Do use imbue with lore.
Notes:
* There is a chance you will run out of MP. Be prepared to regenerate MP.
* D-Burst consumes both HP and MP when cast. If your HP is below 5% of your level you will not be able to cast it. Have a secondary fire spell in inventory to use when this happens.
* There is a minor chance you will die if the Am-Boss gets multiple lucky strikes. Be prepared to live with this.

Level 106-109: Hybee Queen
Equipment Needed: Tenebromancers Robes, Celtic Wheel, D-Burst Spell, Secondary Darkness Spell.
Strategy: Spam D-Burst Spell. Use Celtic Wheel to increase intelligence. Do use imbue with lore.
Notes:
* D-Burst consumes both HP and MP when cast. If your HP is below 5% of your level you will not be able to cast it. Have a secondary darkness spell in inventory to use when this happens.
* There is a chance you will die against Hybee Queen. Be prepared to live with this.

Level 110-125: Tyrant King
Equipment Needed: Pyromancers Robes, Celtic Wheel, D-Burst Spell.
Strategy: Spam D-Burst Spell. Use Celtic Wheel to increase intelligence. Do use imbue with lore.
Note: You will run our of MP on ocassion. You should be able to use the mana regeneration spell against Tyrant King. Potions and Dharana are also options.

Level 126-129: Queen Hybee
Equipment Needed: Tenebromancers Robes, Celtic Wheel, D-Burst Spell, Secondary Darkness Spell.
Strategy: Spam D-Burst Spell. Use Celtic Wheel to increase intelligence. Do use imbue with lore.
Notes:
* D-Burst consumes both HP and MP when cast. If your HP is below 5% of your level you will not be able to cast it. Have a secondary darkness spell in inventory to use when this happens.
* There is a chance you will die against Hybee Queen. Be prepared to live with this.

Level 130-145: Am-Boss
Equipment Needed: Horde's Ire, Shield of Sands, D-Burst Spell, Secondary Fire Spell.
Strategy: Spam D-Burst Spell.
Notes:
* Obviously we are taking a bit more of defensive approach here. Taking a full offensive approach results in death to frequently to make worthwhile.
* D-Burst consumes both HP and MP when cast. If your HP is below 5% of your level you will not be able to cast it. Have a secondary fire spell in inventory to use when this happens.
* This can be a tight battle at times. Be prepared to use MP potions and ocassionally HP potions.

Level 146-150: Queen Hybee
Equipment Needed: Tenebromancers Robes, Celtic Wheel, D-Burst Spell, Secondary Darkness Spell.
Strategy: Spam D-Burst Spell. Use Celtic Wheel to increase intelligence. Do use imbue with lore.
Notes:
* D-Burst consumes both HP and MP when cast. If your HP is below 5% of your level you will not be able to cast it. Have a secondary darkness spell in inventory to use when this happens.
* There is a chance you will die against Hybee Queen. Be prepared to live with this.

IIRC Tyrant King is Guardian only, so stick to the previous option when it's suggested.

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (3/1/2018 17:05:51)

House Guard Farming

With the ability to now visit any characters estate you wish new farming opportunities are potentially available.

They're open to any lvl with the ability to kill the monster so long as you own a house.

Direction:
House > Visit Neighbor > (enter house id#) > Specific Neighbor > Kill Monster > Go in House to Heal > Leave House > Visit Neighbor > Specific Neighbor > repeat

EXP

Nerfkittens:
With a bit of rl luck it's about a ~30 sec cycle if you go first and OHKO.

These are NOT gold heavy monsters.

Nerfkitten(90): 23,980 exp / 1,197 gold

House ID# 52073788

For exp on a per monster basis this beats: Queen Hybee(66), Tyrant King(79), and Am-boss(100).

Nerfkitten Scion(130): 731,357 exp/ 27,425 gold

House ID# 85391907

For exp on a per monster basis this beats: , Queen Hybee(126) and Am-boss(140).

edit: thx to RMC for Scion

edit:

Example: lvl 111 "hybrid" went up 2 lvls and capped Exp over the course of 11 Nerfkitten Scion. In theory this takes under 6 minutes. In actuality it took about 10 minutes*, just varies with your equipment, build and RL luck.

* A (near) OHKO is key for an MP based strategy as kitten will remove most if not all your MP. Meaning you may have to flee at times etc..

Might Shadow Roc(148): 3,220,000exp/644,100gold

House ID# 35950899

EXP/GOLD

Might Shadow Gogg(148): 2,061,000exp/1,032,000 gold

For exp on a per monster basis this beats: , Queen Hybee(146)
For gold on a per monster basis this beats: , Most other options

House ID# 45387657

Strategy : Very low health and weak to wind, any wind nuke should clear him easily
Note: leaving your house to heal in town with the fountain may be quicker in this case.

thx RMC again

Altered farming progression do to houses:

Adventurer:
Farm monsters and quests for gear >Level 26 to about level 90+ farm Drakath the Undead Dragon* > Am-Boss(100) > Nerfkitten(90) > Hybee Queen(106) > Queen Hybee(126) > Am-Boss(140) > Nerfkitten Scion > Queen Hybee(146) > Shadow Gogg/Roc

Guardian:
Farm monsters and quests for gear >Level 26 to about level 85+ farm Drakath the Undead Dragon* > Tyrant King( lvl 10 BM class) > Nerfkitten(90) > Hybee Queen(106) > Queen Hybee(126) > Am-Boss(140) > Nerfkitten Scion > Queen Hybee(146) > Shadow Gogg/Roc

Jumping straight to the nerf kittens or gogg and skipping the intermediary locations is always worth a shot. Farming progression is based on strategy and items owned. Wizard robes and Subrace armor(vamp/were) being good choices.

*Drakath note: Choose: I didn't Win, or lose the stat roll during Twilly vs. Zorbak: Part 2

Other:

Zardnado (painting)
At lvl 150 the semi rare/Seasonal Zardnado painting gives 1,175,000 gold edging out shadow gogg by 143k on a per fight basis. Has over twice the effective HP however. Mileage will vary depending on personal set up and likes/dislikes.

Armor Golem
???exp/1,663,000 gold
Thanks to Basha
Lvl 150 from Morningstar boss rush.
Low HP(2k) with low resistance, this can be overcome with harm dmg for an effective 2k HP. Making it arguable one of the the best spots for endgame gold (Per point of effective HP).
