@Shadow1531 Most good farming spots have a 3:1 exp to gold ratio, that is the standard amount the game expects you to get.

If you want enemies that give a good gold to exp ratio, the best bet is going to Dragonstone -> Quest For The Dragon Blade -> Essences

You'll fight 8 strong dragons that give a 1:1 exp to gold ratio, they don't die that quickly usually, but the reward is pretty big overall.

I'd generally recommend sticking to Am-boss though, the gold will come in due time, and Am-boss dies a lot faster than essences.

cVantez -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (2/2/2019 1:08:10)

Need a farming spot for gold for a lv 130 warrior. Nerfkitten Scion is great for exp, but gives lousy gold. Am-boss (140) seems unbeatable.

Primate Murder -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (2/2/2019 1:28:14)

Mr. Frostvalverse (in the Void) gives around 3 million gold for x-guardians and can be farmed fairly easy with a little patience.

If it's too difficult, the Mighty Shadow Gogg house guard (from the guide) is what most people use. As long as you survive its first attack, killing it is fairly easy and gives 1mil gold.

There's also the option of farming the Armor Golem from the Morningstar Boss Rush. It's less risky, but a bit more tedious, as you need to beat it, flee, then go back to the quest.

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (2/2/2019 1:42:01)

^ keep in mind he is having issues with a lvl 140 boss. You are suggesting much higher lvl boss+ monsters.

Also note that guide farming section is just an (outdated) copy of my post on page 7.

Armor golem if you have harm/void weapon is the "easiest" but it has a steep requirement, (isn't it only after the lvl 150 quest?).

In all honesty I would try Mighty Shadow Gogg. If you can't live the first turn with pure HP try going in with dark/light resistance and switching gear. It will slow you a bit but the per kill rewards are hard to beat at any lvl. So long as you can put out ~2k dmg a turn you are good. Or if you can get an extra turn/stun the gogg.

cVantez -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (2/2/2019 11:41:33)

Thanks!

It looks like mighty shadow gogg is actually doable with ultimon + luminous shield + irt for one turn, then cyclone blast.

tearteto -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (2/2/2019 12:29:06)

Cvantez - i manage to beat am-boss consistently with offensive test armor to start then just using werewolf no drop transformation with essence orb and any decent weapon

Heroes of the Scape -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (2/7/2019 13:05:08)

Farming Place:
Build: 100% Bow Ranger
Notes: Looking for good XP. My main can transfer items for cheap equipment.

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (2/8/2019 10:34:40)

^ There isn't enough info to help you. You didn't give any kind of level range. Also as it's expected you have read over past posts you have given no indication as to your wants and needs based on such info.(i.e. why they aren't working and what you need instead)

JanusHoW -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (2/28/2019 21:27:00)

Returning player, need help farming EXP and Gold.

Hybrid, level 95.
My Character Page - Currently working on untraining and retraining.

In case you're wondering why I have stuff like the Golden Axe and Scourge's Tenet/Rampart, I had these items when left the game for 12-odd years and returned to find all of these new changes, including level limits for certain equipment. Man, I've missed a lot.

Primate Murder -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (3/1/2019 0:26:09)

At your level, I would suggest farming the Nerfkitten Scion house guest.

JanusHoW -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (3/1/2019 12:44:07)

I keep getting my rear-end kicked. Is it just a matter of luck? I'm doing the following setup:

Weapon: Blade of Awe (Earth)
Armor: Giga-Snide Transformation
Shield: Spell Impeder

If I'm lucky enough to get to attack first, I use Boulderdash, then pray for GigaSnide's slam attack. The Ally assists are helpful too.

afterlifex -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (3/1/2019 13:06:24)

I would go pick up the earth based wizard class armor if you have the class trained.

the Level 0 - Rocky Potence and Level 5 - Tectonic Lore will increase your earth spell dmg output.

As far as going first, with you have 0 luk and the monster have 55 it's a bit of a roll. There are ways to boost your chance like the assassin class armor and a potion but thous require work if you don't have them unlocked.

Primate Murder -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (3/1/2019 14:21:52)

You can also use Taladosian armor skill.

toannghe1997 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (3/2/2019 0:00:45)

@JanusHoW
I have a perfect farming strategy for you: taking on Might Shadow Roc(148) from house ID# 35950899
I see that you already got Shadow of Doubt G, you should replace it with Contradiction Cuirass from the Mystery! quest to bring the light/dark res down to 60. Next, get Guardian Luminous Shield (-17 dark/light res) and Crystal of Restless Shadows G (-5 dark/light res) from Seekrat - The Breaking Point and The Final Countdown quests. You will now have 38 res in both elements. This is good, but it can get even better.
To further increase your chance in slaying this high level monster, you should also get the geocastellum armor (from Walric's mastercraft quest with the same name). Keep in mind to Only get the lowest tier armor, as you only need its skill - which will reduce the damge you take. If you have z token to spare, you can also try and get Gandolphin spell from the rare golden giftbox reward (talk to Valencia, and remember that guardian gets 1 free box per month). It is not impossible without Gandolphin, but it will make things easier. Finally, train Wizard and get Generalist's Robe (though if you don't have Gandolphin then this is not needed) as well as Assasin to lv 5 to get the intiative boost (you can untrain your end to get around 140 luck to get the first strike, but keeping 110 end and tank the first hit is ok as well)
When fighting the Shadow Roc, equip the gears, then use the skill from the geocastellum armor and use generalist's Arcane Lore before casting Gandolphin (again, this spell can be passed if you don't want to spend z token on it). After that, use Call Ally in this order: Zorbak -> Artix -> Artix again and again until the Roc die (this should take around 4 Call Ally) and Done, the Roc is dead, and you net a huge sum of 3,220,000exp/644,100gold, enough to pass your current cap.
I have been using this strategy with my hybrid mage since she was lv 85 (non guardian, though I do have Gandolphin) and instead of putting points in end, I trained luck in order to get the first strike. However, this should still work well for you. Once you get through lv 110, you can then move onto other foes like the Queen Bee from the Anniversary quest (after using all 4 Call Ally to beat the Shadow Roc and still haven't reached the level cap). Have fun farming!

JanusHoW -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (3/3/2019 11:36:29)

Okay, changed my strat a bit.

Weapon - Blade of Awe
Armor - Scourge's Tenet
Shield - Scourge's Rampart
Pet - Land Shark

With this, I have 27% Ice defense, and can take Nerfkitty Scion's claw attack with MP to spare. With a little luck, I can drop it in either two Boulderdashes or a Boulderdash and a Robina assist, as long as it leads off with its nerf claw rather than its buff ball of yarn.

@toannghe1997
Wow, your strategy for Mighty Shadow Roc was pretty much perfect. I didn't need the extra items for decreasing my L/D defense.

1997p3 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/15/2019 12:04:38)

Anyone might have any advice for a 100 proc ranger? I'm trying to farm shadow gogg (from house guard0< but seems like I have to do quite a bit of skills, which requires charging

Thanks!

AliceShiki -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/15/2019 23:09:10)

If House Guards aren't working, simplest thing I can think of is grabbing an armor with a darkness skill (Angel of Souls is a good option) and spamming it against Queen Hybee in the 10th anniversary event.

You'll probably need to grab a 0% proc weapon for the sake of that, but you can just buy one at Yulgar for the sake of the farming.

1997p3 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/16/2019 9:51:55)

@Alice: Ah... Oh well, thanks!

AliceShiki -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (7/30/2019 17:59:55)

@Lorester Why are you recommending Bloodmage armor over Aeromancer Wizard Robes? Aeromancer gives a bigger damage boost (even without Imbue with Lore) and doesn't cost an UR GGB to obtain...

lolerster -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (7/30/2019 18:44:43)

You are correct. I was thinking you had to imbue with lore to get the boost. I forgot the armor passively gives a very big boost to your spell damage. I will add this as an option for equipment.

Asy -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (8/27/2019 11:24:21)

Farming Place: None at the moment. Trying out Hybee.
Build: 147 BeastMaster Mage
Notes: Coming back into the game casually. Trying to find a (mostly gold) farming spot up till 150 since I spent most of it re-gearing. Any and all advice welcomed!

EDIT: Thanks Alice! Never knew about the House Guards. Very neat.

AliceShiki -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (8/27/2019 12:32:47)

Queen Hybee is a fantastic spot already.

You can try Mighty Shadow Gogg/Roc for more efficient farming if you want (see this for details), but Hybee is the 3rd best spot in the game, so it should still work very well~

badguts -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (9/2/2019 14:43:07)

Playing again after a few years hiatus; looking for tips on best places to farm gold and exp respectively.

I'm lvl 76 Pure Mage (250 int, 130 dex). I have decent spells that cover all elements and am working on getting enough gold to get my armors/weapons up to par

AliceShiki -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (9/2/2019 20:32:53)

@Above This Post suggests some of the best farming spots in the game for mages! ^^)/

This Post is an updated version with the best spots available, but some of them are a bit hard, so stick to the first post's suggestions if you're having trouble~

badguts -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (9/3/2019 3:03:10)

wow thanks, the nerfkittens give insane exp for how easy they are at my lvl. I can 1-2 hit ko the lvl 90 version, but am having trouble taking down the lvl 130 before it drains all my mana. Any tips to help ensure going first or armor/spell strats for them specifically?

If i cant take down the 130 version, the undead drakath is still giving me nice exp and gold.

At the moment i'm using the Angel of Souls armor/lantern shield and destruction burst vs drakath; and for nerfkitten using Horo-show armor/shield and the spell Gravity Crush
