Lord of Angmar -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/21/2007 20:07:54)

Just a possible update to Sleestak, you might want to add that it was also available as a reward in the January 2007 Dragon War and Part 1 of the NightBane Chronicles.

oh, really, i just saw it on rhubarbs Wii screenshot.

rharren -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/22/2007 1:04:45)

The Nerfkitten attack rates seem to be wrong, I believe each attack should be the 0 CHA rate + .25*Player CHA

For example, the Lvl. 10 Nerfkitten-

ATTACK 1

Rate: 24% + (0.50% * [Player CHA]) (Maxes at 50%)

should be

Rate: 24% + (0.25 * [Player CHA]) (Maxes at 50%)

ATTACK 2

Rate: 24% + (0.50% * [Player CHA]) (Maxes at 50%)

and

Rate: 24% + (0.25 * [Player CHA]) (Maxes at 50%)

Overall this would give an attack rate of 47% +(0.50 * [Player CHA]) which matches the original attack rates listed when the pet first came out.

Noticed that Undead Fire Giant did not have a pic in it's pedia entry so i though I would submit one.
Undead Fire Giant
It also seems the multi hit attack is two hits instead of three but this I am not entirely sure. So far it has had a one hit attack and a two hit one.

phoenix blue -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/24/2007 13:13:29)

its 3 when i had it did 3 hits

GoosLuM -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/27/2007 13:59:26)

I'm not sure the rates are right for the 2nd attacks of Beastmaster guests. The formula's given for their attacks are
100 - [-50 + (CHA/2)]/100
for the first attack and
[-50 + (CHA/2)]/100
for the second attack.

With 200 CHA your chance of getting the first attack is 100 - [-50 + (200/2)]/100 which simplifies to 99.5%. And that leaves .5% to get your second attack.
That's definitely supposed to be a 50% chance of getting the second attack. Easy way to fix it, get rid of the /100 at the end. (Or change the 100 - part at the very start to 1 - , but the rest of the encyclopedia uses percentages).

God L -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/27/2007 20:22:56)

baby void dragon lv 55 version sellback is 1800 gold
and 50 training difficulty

ranger66 -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/27/2007 20:35:27)

the level 90 pet seems like doing 10-30 damage to me

ceram89 -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/27/2007 20:42:10)

You sure it's 2 hits? I have been hitting only one with the lvl 55.

EDIT: It has 2 different attacks, one with 2 hits(beam) and a normal attack.

For the lvl 55 version: After the nerf

The first attack is 1 hit of melee Void element. I think it does 5-15 6-11.

The second attack is 2 hits of magic Ranged. They each do 5-15 6-11.

My guess is for the level 90 its the same thing expect the first attack is 10-30 8-19 and the seconds is 2 hits of 10-30 8-19.

For now, the Baby Void Dragon has attacked every turn. It tends to miss quite a lot so maybe it has 0 to 10 bth.

ranger66 -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/27/2007 20:56:13)

the sellback of the level 90 is 6000
any 1 else got only 10-30 damage with him?
edit:
ok i got it
the second attack may do 2 hits so its 20-60 , still 80% of the time he do the first attack for me

Silverdragon -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/27/2007 21:41:53)

Middle level baby void (level 55) training difficulty is 50
Sellback: 1800

mystic aurora -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/27/2007 21:51:25)

So the baby void dragons do element X?

It's Void damage.

coolman111 -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/27/2007 21:52:38)

I confirm that baby void dragon does void damage! OMG time to get rid of sleetstalk and pwn some terrorzards with the new and improved elementx/void pet.

Valthonis -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/27/2007 22:57:01)

quote:

Baby Void Dragons do NOT do Void element damage. Void is basically Element X with an insanely high amount of BtH, and my Baby Void Dragon just missed its attack.

The pet does Element X damage.

Nope, Void Dragon pets (and monsters) do Void damage. Void DOES NOT have high BTH by itself. It has to be specifically added which was usually the case up until now, but no longer is so. Though it really doesn't make a difference what they call it, it's all a "non-element" ~Suikoman444

BassoonMaster -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/27/2007 22:57:01)

with 200 cha the both attacks have a 50% chance of occuring for the lvl 90 BVD.

Baby Void dragon.

master of the gates -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/28/2007 22:09:19)

the Baby Void Dragons were nerfed...

they now do:

lvl 15: 4-12
lvl 55: 12-22
lvl 90: 16-38

spike1 -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/29/2007 14:54:48)

baby void dragon cost 6000/9000/30,000

Shinseiki -> RE: Pets/Guests (1/29/2007 21:42:11)

Baby Void Dragon seems to be doing void damage only on dragons and normal elemental X damage towards any other non-dragon monsters. Also void damage done on dragons seems to be more powerful than elemental X damage . (Correct this if info is inaccurate)
