SPECIAL
(No damage)
Effect: You are "buffed"* for the next five turns. While you wield this weapon, all your normal Player attacks and weapon Specials deal 108% Base, Random, and (if it deals Stats) Stats damage. This stacks with the below effect, for a total of 125.0775% damage. If the Special occurs again while you are already "buffed", then the current "buff" is extended for another five turns. Ending the battle or re-equipping the weapon ends the "buff".
Rate: 10%

*The BTH of the weapon is increased by 10+. It will only happen once per battle.

EFFECT
All normal Player attacks and weapon Specials deal 115.8125% Base, Random, and Stats damage.

In his works, Dr. Frankenspine discovered that a normal scalpel just wouldn't cut it with the undead...

Effect: You are "buffed"* for the next five turns. While you wield this weapon, all your normal Player attacks and weapon Specials deal 108% Base, Random, and (if it deals Stats) Stats damage. Effect: The weapon starts dealing "boosted" damage (see below). This lasts for 5 weapon attacks, or until the battle ends (whichever is first).
Rate: 15%

EFFECT
  • While "unboosted", it takes -5 BTH and deals *85/80 damage. (Not factored in.)
  • While "boosted"*, it gains +5 BTH and deals *85/90 *(1.2 + 0.01*[# of turns since the Special happened]) damage. (Not factored in.) In addition, the Special rate is set to 0.
  • Regardless of whether or not it's "boosted", it deals deals *1.09 damage, for the lack of a real special. (Not factored in.)

    *The Frankenglaive is charged with Frankenergy! Bonus damage and BTH for your next five attacks!
    **The Frankenglaive is charged with Frankenergy! Bonus damage and BTH for your next «Number of Attacks remaining for Boost Mode» attack(s)!
