    Mae Pi: I be Mae Pi, the keeper of this here inn. My family has been pirates fer father upon father's fathers.
    Mae Pi: We're proud pirates and I don't want to hear non o' that ninja talk. Ninja are a disgrace, I say. No honor in the lot o' them.
    Mae Pi: They be tricksters and cowards. My own... I don't care who you are, if yer a ninja, yer no friend to me.

    Mae Pi: I've got nothin' fer the likes of you to do right now.

      Mae Pi: I have a gift fer ya to take to the Ninja Inn. Maybe this will get the message across... that I be done with such silly pranks as this.
      Mae Pi: Careful o them ninja monkee's, they be a curious lot and probably won't be happy to see the like of ye comin' in there with a mystery box.

      Mae Pi: This be rediculous! Dose ninja hab gone doo far! Ib'll dake weeks do get the Inn back do dat homey pirate smell!
      <Character> (thinking): Homey... pirate? ... smell?
      Mae Pi: I want you do dake dis bottle do de Inn. Go do the upstairs hallway and open id!
      <Character>: Uh, this is kinda getting out of hand...
      Mae Pi: Oub of hand!? Are ye a pirate or aren'b ye? If ye has become sympathebic do de ninja, den de Braken will seem like a fuzzy, blue moglin compared do the hurb I'll put on ye!!!
      <Character>: So... What's in the bottle?
      Mae Pi: It be air breathin' podion.
      <Character>: Air breathing potion. Right. That makes total sense.
      Mae Pi: Dake id and go!

    Mae Pi: And the pirates around here have gotten fat and lazy!
    Mae Pi: The problem is, we got some rats in the hold of one of the ships in the harbor. No ordinary rats, mind ye.
    Mae Pi: No, these be the worst of the lot. Pi-rats! We could really use your help clearin' them out!

    Rose Guard: It's nice here and all, but I don't know if I can stay. It's a big change compared to Swordhaven...
    Pirate: Arr, I understand. But a lot of us pirates, we came from all over. We found new family here, made new lives for ourselves.
    Rose Guard: I'll admit, it's tempting. No few of my compatriots have even moved their families here.
    Rose Guard: We'll just have to see how I feel after I next return to Swordhaven.
    Pirate: Aye, but remember, no matter what happens, you'll always be welcome in Osprey Cove!

    Dozing Guard: Zzz... So many pies... So many rats…

    Fancy Patron: Oh my, the atmosphere here is quite quaint!
    Unsettled Patron: I think I stepped in something unmentionable on the way in...
    Fancy Patron: It's just like that for the setting! The fake spilled Moglinberry juice even stinks like grog!
    Unsettled Patron: ...That was probably real spilled grog.
    Fancy Patron: Nonsense! As authentic an experience as this is, I'm sure they wouldn't have actual messes! It's all part of the atmosphere!
    Unsettled Patron: If you say so. I'll still be keeping an eye on my pockets, though.
