Another one of these threads, but a lighthearted one.

Let's calculate:

Assume you have a relatively nice build, you beat people level under you 90% of the time. 0.9*32 = an average of 28.8 credits per battle against lower players
Let's also assume you beat people equal to you 60% of the time. 0.6*32 = an average of 19.2 credits per battle against equal players
Let's also assume you beat people higher level than you 25% of the time, (averaging all the credits), 0.25*52 = 13 credits per battle against higher leveled people.

Let's assume you face lower people 33% of the time, equal 33% of the time, higher 33% of the time. (Not true though, I face higher 50%, equal 40%, less 10% it seems...)

On average, each battle gives you then about 20.22 credits per battle on average. (not including losses, include losses brings it up to maybe 23-25 credits per battle)

A weapon at ~level 30 costs 14,000 credits (non-var), 12,000 + Varium (varium). This requires me having to fight about 692.38 battles to get a new weapon for myself. I know this is just a rough estimate, but you can see the disproportionate. And don't even talk to me about 24,000 credit bikes.

Therefore, I propose we AT LEAST DOUBLE the credits per battle win, and double the credits per loss. Or we curve it, so that lower leveled people get less of a credit bonus (their weps cost like 600 credits each, and therefore they can get those weps easier than us), and higher-leveled players get a bonus.

There are many errors with my calculations I am sure of, but that is just a rough idea. 692 battles seems a little high (including losses), so I'd probably have to re-check my work...

The average ED player spends ~1 hr on ED a day (and that's a lot!). Assuming a battle takes 1 minute exact, he would be able to get 60 battles in, which means he needs to take 12 days of 1 hr a day to get 14,000 credits. Which isn't a lot, but then again, 1 minute a battle is pretty hard. More like 2+ minutes a battle, (finding a battle, lag compensation, talking with friends, AFK, etc...). Which means is should take about a MONTH at least for the average ED player to get 14,000 credits (playing 1 hr a day).

Seems a little out of balance to me. I just want to see your guys opinion.

Thanks!

I believe the Developers have noticed this, and are quietly taking action through things like Ice gems, missions, and power hour, everyone know if you just do straight 1v1 battles from the beginning, your going to end up short on credits, but if you add in power hours, farming NPCs, missions, and once you reach a decent level, you can farm limitless ice gems from Frysteland NPCs (~9% drop rate for perfect ice gem, can fight unlimited times per hour, sells for 459 each at Mirv), if you include these as well as ocassionally beating juggernauts, doing 2v2s against higher leveled opponents and winning, you can rack up the credits, and be in top gear very often through the levels.
