*You fight your way through various monsters as you approach the resting place of the Ember.*
<Character>: This looks like the place. I'm guessing you go up to it and touch it?
<Dragon>: I'm not sure.
<Character>: Did it suddenly get a lot hotter in here?
<Dragon>: ........
<Dragon>: There's something coming and it feels powerful.
<Dragon>: Far more powerful than anything we've faced in here up to now.
???: You will not defile the artifact of my Lord!
*The Elemental Guardian of the Ember appears before you.*
Flamdus: How dare you come here! This power is not meant for mortals such as you!
<Character>: I'm sorry. I wouldn't do this if it wasn't necessary. The power in this artifact will help <Dragon> and I to...
Flamdus: ENOUGH!
Flamdus: You will not touch the Ember of the Fire Lord!
Flamdus: I'll incinerate you for your insolence!
Battle! - begins battle with Flamedus and 2 Fire Elementals.
Heal - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions.
Run Away! - returns to Sunbreeze Grove (Book 3).
Flamdus: Enough, I yield.
Flamdus: Just take the Ember and go. I could not stop you and have failed my Lord.
<Character>: I'm not trying to take it from you! All I wanted was to let <Dragon> resonate with it.
<Character>: When all the orb's were destroyed we lost the way we had to unlock <Dragon>'s primal form.
<Character>: We need this power to help stop anyone else who would threaten the fragile balance between the elements.
Flamdus: You would use this power to oppose those that cause destruction? To help preserve the balance?
<Character>: Yes. That's why we've been fighting. We weren't able to stop one tragedy soon enough but this might help us stop any more.
Flamdus: Very well. I will...allow this.
Flamdus: This Ember holds a great power, as dangerous and wondrous as the Orb of Fire. It will provide you with what you desire.
*Flamdus moves to allow your dragon to resonate with the Ember. Both the Ember and your dragon glow red as sparks fly, establishing a connection.*
Flamdus: There, you have what you need. I shall remain and continue to perform my duty.
Flamdus: In return for granting you this power you must never speak of this location to anyone.
<Character>: I promise.
*You and your dragon leave the cavern and return to Sunbreeze Grove.*
Elysia: <Character>, how did it go? Did you succeed?
<Character>: Yes, we did. It took a lot and we had to face down one of the most powerful elementals I've ever seen...
<Character>: ...but we now have the power we need.
Elysia: You met an elemental guardian?
Elysia (thinking): I know the scrolls talked about them, but I never would have thought one was actually there. That it really existed.
Elysia: I would have loved to meet it. The things it must know... but we have more important things to do right now.
Elysia: <Dragon> should now be able to wield the power of primal fire.
Elysia: Talk to me again and I will make the changes occur.
