 Consolidated thread for all questions, comments, etc. regarding AdventureQuest Dragons! If you think you have found a bug, you should report it using the Bug Tracker.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: When is the web version coming out?
A: Early 2015

Q: Will there be a Windows 8 version?
A: From the game's Facebook page: "Sorry but not unless this becomes a MASSIVE Candy-Crush sized hit. There just aren't enough users to justify the time cost of the coders doing a separate Windows Mobile build."

Q: How long will the Founder package be available?
A: At least until the web version has been released. Other than that, we don't know.

This is gonna seem like a pretty silly question, but I know I've heard the theme that plays under the opening somewhere before in one of the other games, I just can't pin down where.

Where did it happen to be from?

 Ok I am playing the apple version and so far I have found it a decent game, which is saying something as I do not like cookie clickers as a whole. The dragons have a fairly humerous and entertaining story and I would definately consider buying the founder package. My opinion might be a little influenced by the fact I had 10 hours of train travel with nothing else to do a few days ago but as I have continued to play since I think it is safe to say it is only a small factor.

The only suggestion I would make is that instead of syncing via facebook, see quote from DNs on Artix.com, you should try and do it through the master account system. The whole point of master accounts were to link all your games together in one place, if Omni games keep getting left out it will just become more and more obsolete. Of course I do not know how much work would be involved in doing this, if it is a sizable amount I can understand the reasons they may turn to the quicker option of using facebook.

OK I have a question. I bought keys for the OS version of dragons. When the Unity version of the game comes out can I link it so I can play on the browser also with everything I bought on it?

I have noticed that if you are on one Dragon the others do not receive gems. Is this supposed to happen? It makes it difficult to play multiple Dragons.

 Heroes of the Scape - I can still receive gems on other dragons (offline gems % when you're offline, for up to 6 hours) while playing on a specific one on Android. Gem count does not appear correctly on the dragons menu but production still continues. May I ask which platform are you using?

 I noticed something really interesting as I played this game.

We get to know a lot about the Dragons' backstories, like that little bit about Galenoth while playing Akriloth's part.

That's really cool.

EDIT: @Heroes of the Scape, it is as Peachii said. The Dragons Menu shows the wrong amount of Gems(it shows a lesser amount than the actual one) but your Gems do keep increasing when you use that Dragon.

@Peachii: I have the Android version.

Slight change to what I said, it seems like my game has stopped saving. Whenever I come back after a full exit I return to a previous point. I had just bought a new egg and when I checked it later it was back to a previous point.

Might have to submit a bug report.

 New eggs won't save unless you hatched it; turns back to 0 when I exit the game, too. If you see a slight lag on your screen (around 1-5 seconds) it's likely the game is saving all your dragons' record, though I cannot confirm this alone. A bug report is the best possible way.

@Above, None of my eggs revert back to zero if I fully leave the game before hatching them.
I've tested it with all the dragons I don't have hatched(all of them but Slime, Green, and Fire) and each one keeps all the gems I gathered if I leave game before reaching 10,000,000 to hatch them.

Enjoyments:
I enjoy Dragons as much as one can enjoy an idle game, I find that them adding story to each dragon was a nice touch and the art is beautiful.

Meh issues:
I think some of the costs for unlocking the Dragons were a little outrageous. 60DKs for Dagron is a little much. Is there even a way to earn 60DKs in the game so you don't have to buy the packages other than waiting 60+ days to get the one free Dragon Key from ads until you have enough to get what you want? I know you get 10DKs for 1 trillion gems once you adult up a dragon, but since DKs are needed to unlock the next dragon you really can't save those ten to use towards the expensive Dragons.
This is also an issue for me when the only 10DK dragons available are Slime and Fire. All the other dragons require at least 20+ keys.

Do you get DKs once you complete a dragon's story?
Can you even complete a Dragon or do they just continuously farm even after you buy all the story upgrades, I haven't completed Green yet so I'm curious what happens after you buy all the story upgrades?

Non-enjoyment issues:
The game not being linked through either portal or Facebook accounts. I'm not sure if they didn't include this because of issuing getting it to work, a company telling them they couldn't, or just a team decision not to, but I really dislike that I can't play on my android phone when i'm not a home and then continue on my Ipad when I'm at home. I never take my Ipad out of the house now since my first one got stolen at the library, so my only time I play this game is when I'm home. This kind of sucks since I have a lot of down time at work and between classes.
I'm less bothered by this one if it was due to inability to get it working/couldn't get it working or one of the stores telling them that they can't have that feature in the game. But if it was a team choice to not include it, I find that really disappointing.

Anyone else having trouble getting it to load?

It was working until a few days ago, but when I try opening it now it just hangs at the first loading screen and doesn't even play the intro.

Anyone got a way to fix it?

And I'm here with my amazingly awesome Lumia 521 with Windows Phone 8.1.1 and unable to play this too

In some cases it's easier to dev apps for WP than for iOS and Android
Why you can't bring this and BattleGems over is beyond me.

this has been happening a lot i havent been able to see Ads for days it always says no ads are available at this time. what can i do what part of the bug tracker should i report it in?

 For the ads, try seeing if theres an update. I wasnt getting ads and then an update came out and it's been fine since. Also for the tracker since it's patterned after other games just fit in it the best possible spot but make sure to include your phone model and version and the version of the game.

Tapping the screen is a BIG TIME deal breaker for me! I was hoping a usual adventure game. Kinda disappointed. :/

 I just love the game.. for the most parts :p

I'm right now only focusing on 2 Dragons. The first one and Trigoras becuase it takes a lot of time to charge up your dragon. All upgrades seems to be "pointless" after a while due to all the high prices. I don't understand how you can earn 4 QT when you get like 7 T gems per second. That's some massive ammount of gems. Should I maybe just start on a new dragon? That has been somewhat confusing for me. Trigoras is basicly maxed out completely.

how do you have a dragon that gets 7T gems per second ? the most i have is a dragon earning 49B gps. 165,600,000,000,000 (165 trill) in a hour 3,974,400,000,000,000 (3.9QD) in a day

I already did a bug report, but I'm curious if anyone else has this problem. When I try to watch a video on the android version, the video will play for anywhere between 9 and 13 seconds, then the game will crash and restart. I don't get gems or keys for watching the video, and this literally makes it impossible for me to unlock most dragons without buying keys.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3 and it works like it should, I suppose. I'm watching an ad for 15/30 seconds (depdens how long the ads are) then it goes back to the game just fine.
An extremly slow process, but I've filled my phone with lots of junk, so it might just be the phone that is full :P

Btw, about that with 7 T per seconds earlier... I have to admit I did put in a too high number, I meant 3.7 T gems per seconds.

I'm pretty sure that for Drakenor, Dragon Treats is meant to be said, not Dragon Teats. (Under "Train Dragon", the upgrade just after the "Aeronautics" upgrade. Take a look.) (The description is: "Who's a good dragon?")
am I right or wrong?
It's the middle of the second row of "Train Dragon" upgrades, as seen from the Upgrades section.

This. I also would like to know if there are more ways to get keys besides buying them or watching ads. Do more key pack "upgrades" become available as you upgrade the modifiers?
