Hi guys! would just like to say that this is my first post in these forums so thats why you wouldn't have seen me around! i want to give you a little back story about myself before i get to the main message, so you can see where i am coming from! well i've been playing epic duel for as long as any founder, unfourtantely back then i didnt have the money to buy varium so i missed out on the founder status. Even though this disappointed me i still carried on, knowing that i still had my skill to rely on. I eventually got myself some varium and started the heartbraker faction, which some of the older players might be familiar with! after playing the game on and off, im now level 31, and although ive never reached the level caps, i still play competitively and consider myself a force to be reckoned with! every week i come to the forums to check on the updates but recently all i have been seeing are these constant debates and ranting between different members of the community! It is pretty disheartening and rather annoying to see a forum full of posts complaining and constantly asking for more! i mean for you guys to have made me create an account here after many years of lurking should show how dire this is :P the main problem that i currently feel needs to addressed first is the huge gap between varium and non varium players! as a man who didnt buy varium till the late level 20's, i had/have a brilliant record and always stood a chance. However if i was to try and accomplish the same thing now i doubt it would be possible. apart from this i really dont think that us people fortunate enough to have varium, be it a founder, an elite or someone who purchased it yesterday, really needs to be given anything at the moment. there are alot more pressing concerns at hand that should be dealt with first. i mean i cant even remember how long ago the idea of different battle modes and boss fights were introduced, but for every week the devs are working on trying to satisfy our (read:YOUR) demands, is less time spent on bigger more beneficial areas of development. well i hope that my message hasn't fallen on deaf ears, and that the community start to shift their focuses back to how to become better at the game, rather then what more should be done to make the game better. I mean of course its always great to make suggestions, which is what helps the game develop, but i feel that this has become a lot more then mere 'suggestions' peace and sorry for the large blocks of text
