Hi guys, I know the topic name will kinda make you feel a little unsure about my idea, but the idea I'm trying to explain is just a concept.

So we all know that crits are so significant in a fight because they rarely happen, BUT they're just so strong so I thought perhaps crits should only ignore about 5% of defenses so they won't be so strong. In most games, crits happen quite a good amount so I personally think crit needs to increase faster like every 3 points of support. The crit chance cap should be about 65% just so it isn't so ridiculous.

Another few things you guys may be thinking about from this idea is...

What about Nanosteel Armor (an armor passive core)?
Well, I think that this core should instead decrease the damage of any crit by 10. So if a crit was to hit 50, it will be reduced to 40.

What about damage?
Well, honestly, I still think classes still need a higher base hp.

Please be constructive and give any criticism if necessary.

Not supported on the least.

This idea would be nerfing crits into the ground since if they did this crits would lose 90% of their original power. Not to mention this would OP tank builds as well. Crits are the bane to tank builds and if you nerf them into the ground then it will cause issues there.

Also if the staff did buff the nano steel core to 10% they might as well remove the infernal interdictor from the game and give everyone who brought it their money back. I say this because the way weapon as it is now only ignores 60% of defenses while an normal crit ignore 50%. as it stand now if I crit someone with the war weapon I only get a 2% extra benefit from it which isn't much as it is. buffing the anti crit core to 10% and I lose all benefit from the war weapon as the core will completely counter massive strike.

I would rather have total removal of crits than that honestly.

@Mother
I said 10, not 10%.

Anyways, I said make crits more OFTEN, but weakened. Crits right now greatly affect the winning outcome and that shouldn't be possible.

And I don't support your idea because your idea would be nerfing crits into the ground. you want to take away 90% of power crits have in exchange for raising crit chance to 65%? So not worth the exchange of power.

I support this because fights are really short and you really need crits against tanks. I often get annoyed when I have higher support but do not crit against a tank TLM.

But base chance should be reduced, only improvement with support should be affected, because I do not want more random crits, but more often crits to those who have higher support thus deserve it. And of course power should be reduced accordingly.
