One attack is 80% and one is 120% total...so to total 100% damage the attacks each happen 50% of the time...

  • Err, neither. Let's take the 137G version for example.

    Okay, so you're using the skill. The first time you use the skill, it costs 122 SP. 72% of the time, nothing happens (you just do damage). 28% of the time, the monster makes a save to resist paralysis. Every time that you use the skill, it'll keep the 72% nothing/28% chance of paralysis rates -- until you successfully paralyse the monster. If you do paralyse the monster, then the "doubt counter" increases by one. You then move on to the next line.

    Now, every time you use the skill, it costs 139 SP. Now, there is a 58% chance of nothing happening (just damage). The remaining 42% of the time, the monster makes a save to resist the paralysis. It stays this way until you successfully paraylse the monster. Then, you move on to the next line.

    And so on.

    Question: what's the MC bonus of the Dark magic steed? I heard that both armors are supposedly MC's.. (unless whoever said so was wrong :P)

    ... I can't find one. It makes sense that it should be MC, so I guess it's a bug.

    Also, Ael just fixed several bugs on the Shadow of Doubt armour. Amongst other things, you can now click on your weapons and armour. Log out / log in to see the changes.

    jw so the Dark Magic Steed should have 2 attacks right?

    and the 10% attack works even with melee weapons right? because I can't seem to get that other hit to work... i only do a one hit attck


    edit: sorry bout that... the special works with melee weapons too... i just don't think its 10% (unless it was fixed or something)

    Well that kinda resolves the initial distorted perception that we were getting two temp MC armors :P the dark magic steed seemed like a carry-over from darkovia anyway. Still, I suppose MCing the temp armor and weapon is worth the 5K difference from forest mansion? even if the use is situational and wasn't a necessity ItFP..

    Neil: As far as I know the element of each attack should be under the type instead... :p

    Also, we usually use this Guardian tag... :)

    And thanks alot for the Guardian text. I wonder if I got the base random and stats correct? I beleive so.
    This is how I did it..


    Level 132 Version

    Base and Random and stats.

    Attack 1
    526 Base & Random so 526 X 0.70 = 368.2% Base and Random.
    1037 Stats so 1037 X 0.70 = 725.9% Stats.

    Attack 2
    526 Base and Random so 526 X 1.50 = 789 X 0.33 = 260.37% Base and Random each.
    1037 Stats so 1037 X 1.50 = 1555.5 X 0.33 = 513.315% Stats each.

    Attack 3
    526 Base and Random so 526 X 2.10 = 1104.6% Base and Random.
    1037 Stats so 1037 X 2.10 = 2177.7% Stats.

    This is how it is done, correct?

    You forgot to multiply 2177.7% and 1104.6% by 0.1 which gives ~218 and ~110 :)

    You can't do like this Neil 1000000, as it's mathematically inaccurate.

    /3 is not equal to 0.33, it's actually 0.333..... and so on for infinity number of 3. The proper correct way should be 526 * 1.5 * 1/3 = 263% or 526 * 1/2 since 1.5 * 1/3 = 1/2.

    And you shouldn't bother to edit them already, as an AK has already quoted your entries, meaning they are already been attended to.

    Neil: Just a note for the nex time. :)
    When you calculate the sellback, the decimal of the numbers should not be rounded or it should be rounded down. :p
