Falerin -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:00:54)

Falerin stands on his head.

There is no key. My puzzle is clearly a monoalphabetic substi.... oh wait I said no further help

tomy 2222 -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:01:56)

Thx Fal for the "mistake"[:D]

caser5 -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:02:28)

The Monoalphabetic Cipher (often referred to as a cryptogram) uses a KEY which is the rearrangement of the letters of the alphabet. These different letters are then substituted for the letters in the message to create a secret message. That KEY is needed to decipher the secret message. The Secret Code Breaker "Handbooks" have computer programs that can be used to assist in determining KEYs and decipher secret messages. Here is an example of a typical secret message that the SCB Solver can crack.

tobi728822 -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:02:51)

oh a monoalphabetic substitution.

Vinger -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:03:31)

Just because I was doing monosubstitution.
Should we trust or not?

Plushie -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:04:09)

Does that mean we have to solve the number 1 puzzle first (the hands one)

Endrance -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:05:22)

Another site mentioned that a Caesar substitution is a monoalphabetic substitution

final five -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:05:24)

I say trust but don't we still need to solve the hands? They seem to be forgotten but they are still a part of this

Falerin -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:06:45)

My puzzle is a direct clue to the hands.

Plushie -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:07:11)

any one tried to mirror them and count the fingers as 0's and 1's for binary?

EDIT:that just made me more confused

Vinger -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:11:19)

I was already thinking taht your puzzle was a clue to the hands.

Terencee -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:13:34)

did anyone think about giving another colour to the yellow wall behind the hands and then see if the it makes words,i did that on my school once, i think wat falerin is trying to say is that we need to look to the wall.

final five -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:14:37)

@Devourer I did that. It didn't work unless I did something wrong which I might have
So we solve Falerin's puzzle and that helps us with the hand puzzle... oh this whole thing is going to be about puzzles for solving other puzzles

Terencee -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:15:28)

and i still don't really get this, i've been following you all day, but what are we doing, do we just fix the puzzle and send falerin the awnser and then the guardians get something?

caser5 -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:16:29)

mono whatever require a key / key word but he said he didnt have one

tomy 2222 -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:18:02)

umm i think that what terencee is saying maybe has sense

Plushie -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:19:19)

Have no paint so I cant try but it is a good idea

Terencee -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:19:37)

thank you tomy, but seriously, has anyone tried giving the wall another colour

Falerin -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:20:14)

A cryptogram has a key in the sense that if you know the entire shuffled alphabet you can decode a cryptogram in that fashion However I can assure you that a cryptogram is not normally solved by using a key

Terencee -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:21:06)

falerin was my idea close :P?

Falerin -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:21:48)

I have already given more help then I ever intended. no further help is forthcoming.

tobi728822 -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:22:47)

K Falerin, I give you a 87% gurantee that next time you post here we will have solved this puzzle

caser5 -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:22:52)

http://math.ucsd.edu/~crypto/java/EARLYCIPHERS/Monoalphabetic.html that helps

Terencee -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 14:23:45)
