Remember of old friend Moglee,
Like him you bark up the wrong tree,
You complain and you vex,
Like you're under a hex,
But tis not tis groupings of three!

OnuaNuva -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:13:54)

Bottom of the last page, read my message, I think I have the 'hand' puzzle mostly figured out.

Scartiger -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:16:28)

10th person to submit the answer (or 11th.. or 12'th)

OnuaNuva -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:17:42)

Is that the final solution of all three puzzles?

Hmmm, I doubt the colouring is anything to do with it, just the hands (Or more importantly, fingers).
I'll look through, and post the amount of fingers on each hand being shown so that people get it done quicker.

EDIT: Unless the fingers are a throw-off. Maybe its the way the hand has moved?

I was thinking that with the Hands, sometimes the thumb is between the fingers, so maybe thats a different letter like...
f=Finger, T=thumb

ftfff is a different letter than fffft

EDIT:10th person to submit the answer (or 11th.. or 12'th) dont we need BOTH answers and the warpforce id to win?

The image itself is the puzzle.

It can be decrypted here:

http://mozaiq.org/decrypt/
quote:

The ultimate decrypter you will need is named after a patchwork of tiles or pictures but rather then a sibilant sound at the end it employs MI-7's weapons expert to emulate.

A patchwork of tiles or pictures is a mosaic. an alternate sound at the end (q instead of c) is used in the website's domain name. It fits perfectly.

Unfortunately I am having a hard time using the program.

So one of you can try it.

The hands are a tree, the image is the whole forest.

Scartiger -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:19:06)

K we don't have the solution yet...

We just have a clue.

Which means...
We're all under a hex we have to use ASCII

Joey7542 -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:19:08)

solution is

.REMEMBER OF OLD FRIEND MOGLEE
.LIKE HIM YOU BARK UP WRONG TREE
.YOU COMPLAIN AND YOU VEX
.LIKE YOURE UNDER A, HEX
.BUT TIS NOT TIS ASCII

OR

Remember of old friend Moglee,

Like you're under a hex,
But tis not tis groupings of three!

make up your minds.

OnuaNuva -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:23:23)

But tis not tis groupings of three... not ASCII. ASCII doesn't rhyme.

Geez, Is the a chat program we can hop into that a mac user, such as myself, could enter?

mIRC hates OSX...

darkforcebomber1 -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:26:08)

for the hand puzzle i cant get it coz i dont know the password at the mozaiq website decrypter

Scartiger -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:26:11)

I have OSX too.

OnuaNuva -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:27:24)

@darkforcebomber:

Just one last thing to find out...

Hey, Falerin or Eldron:

Could we get a .png version of the 'hand puzzle'?

Nabsol -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:28:50)

American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII), pronounced /ˈæski/[1] is a character-encoding scheme based on the ordering of the English alphabet. ASCII codes represent text in computers, communications equipment, and other devices that work with text. Most modern character-encoding schemes—which support many more characters than did the original—have a historical basis in ASCII.
Another piece is cracked. Perhaps.

But remember, this isn't the final puzzle. Like a Rubix Cube, you can't solve one side and say your done.

Vivi -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:29:00)

Note: We're not done with the puzzle-solving yet. To quote Fal,

quote:

Just to be sure you are sure. The ultimate puzzle after solving all of Eldron and the LoreMasters Puzzles will be a Quiz about the WarpForce and what you have been able to learn both through these puzzles and through other avenues.

I am EVER the educator.

Muhahahaha.

Though before that I predict a good 4 or 5 additional puzzles in this sequence coming my friends.

And some logs from IRC:
<falerin> Of course the problem with your ascii is you think that once you translate it you are done but it is far more encrypted than that
<Falerin> the ascii will at least give you the letters then you have trouble; polyalphabetic trouble
<Falerin> Keyless polyalphabetic trouble
<Falerin> I did promise more greater evil
<Falerin> And this is OLD its not even the new evil

Verlyrus -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:30:50)

Translated from sign->decimal ASCII->letters

kingofmen -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:31:03)

So we translate the translation to get another puzzle?

edit: ill take lordtomato's post as a yes

TreadLight -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:33:28)

Just to let people know about the evil he promised (to prevent confusion), it was on IRC, where we sold our souls to him for the encrypted form of "I" in the recently solved puzzle.

By the way, a lot of WarpForce avatars were uploaded, and are now uploaded onto the forums for any forum member's use.

I made some of them, too! <:D

Keyless polyalphabetic

Im guessing this means keyboard trouble, so maybe we need to decrypt it to something else because our keyboards dont have the letters or something...?

Gundisalvus -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:35:20)

I have posted the de-ASCII-ed text for your viewing pleasure... and it still isn't solved.
In case you want to make sure I didn't make an error... check over them yourself!

OnuaNuva -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:36:04)

what IRC channel are you on?

Verlyrus -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:36:05)

or look at mine! :D

TreadLight -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:38:12)

OnuaNuva, most of us reside in the "#mystery" channel [on the Caelestia network], and is where most of the brainstorming is being done.

I don't think there are any other channels, but there may be.

Vivi -> RE: =WF= A Final Mystery (7/2/2009 23:52:10)

@kingofmen: "Keyless" means there's no special key that we use to decipher the message like in a vigenere cipher. Instead, the cipher uses letter substitution or a shifting pattern.

Polyalphabetic makes things more complicated, because we go from having 26 options to choose from to...well, more than 26 options >.>
