Moved from ..., questions belong here(Questions and Answers Thread).

I'm just wondering, will there be a way to change your character name in WF? I know that AE is mainly focusing on other things like equips and quests etc. but it would be nice if we could have a way to change the character name like in AQ.

Any idea if this will happen SOON or EVER?

No clue as far as I know if this will happen soon or ever to change your charactername in WF, unless... I'll leave this to someone else. :p

5king wolf -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (8/27/2010 15:46:20)

Thanks for moving that.

I have another question. In the Troznor training, DEX increases Non-Gun Non-Tech damage so is there anything that increases Gun damage? Or was that a typo

mogrim -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (8/27/2010 16:07:08)

I know its an expansion, but its hard to get behind the game when their are so few quests and things to do. Will there ever be lets say released every 2 weeks? Also, any chance we might see Holiday Events?

Guns receive no damage bonus from stats whatsoever. It is not a typo.

The monthly releases have the content of four weekly releases. It's just in a differnt amount of time-- WF releases all at once, while AQ releases week by week. As to holiday events, judging from this year's releases, I don't think there'll be quests for holidays. However, that may change. (Also, for christmas, they released a weapon... That might happen again. )

Paddington -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (8/30/2010 3:09:02)

What is an ideal stat build for a gunner?
I don't see any stat which adds damage for guns :3
edit: Nvm, I saw the extremely helpful stat build guide :3
I love my retro armor. If only it had some use other than dancing in.

Edited:

What is a nice Battlesuit a level 22 non-upgrade Gunner could get?
Or 25.

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/1/2010 2:58:16)

Paddington,

Take a look at this page here. It shows the BattleSuits accourding to their level requirement. So if you're a WarpTracker, go for the WarpTrooper III armor at level 24. If you're a WG, you can purchase the Star Knight Journeyman at level 18; it's WG power bonus should match, if not go beyond the WarpTrooper Armor. If you've got tokens to spare, then buy the Star Ninja Z at level 20-- it'll last you quite a while. And finally, you probably noticed the level 25, WG AAA-Cell Warp Energizer Armor which is definitely good to pick up.

Thank you very much!
I sure love the community here [:)]

MonsterMike9000 -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/2/2010 21:19:26)

It feels like a whole lot of nothing is happening in this game...Everytime I get a WF update in my e-mail, its sad to see that the update is actually for Battleon and the news about WF is a month or two old.

Whats happening next in WF?

Bu Kek Siansu -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/2/2010 22:13:06)

^ Normal WF releases will generall occur around the middle of each month.
The last release was on AUGUST 19th.

Voxyhood -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2010 23:56:26)

how can i delete an account?

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/4/2010 23:59:38)

It can be deleted by loggin in here, then by going to the Delete Account option. Be aware that once an account is deleted, it cannot be recovered, so think twice before deleting your account

Voxyhood -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/5/2010 0:05:41)

Are there any advantages of having an adventurequest account besides being able to login by the same name?

KING MAT18 -> Galactic Chart (9/5/2010 19:40:12)

Anybody know when/if the Galactic Chart will be added...?

nightshadow989 -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/5/2010 19:59:16)

how high well wf lvl cap go to? it says there going to add 100 lvls of equipment so is it only going to be lvl 100 permanently or are they going to raise it to lvl 150 like like aq is doing?

Khimera -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/5/2010 20:18:20)

Since they use the same standards, I would presume the eventual cap will be 150.

nightshadow989 -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/5/2010 23:55:20)

figured but just wanted to confirm it lol

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/6/2010 0:41:01)

Voxyhood,

If you're playing WF, you have an AQ account and vice versa. I assume that if you delete one, the other one will be deleted as well (ie. if you delete your AQ account, your WF account will be deleted). I can think of no perks, other than to remember one username and password rather than two and to be able to play both games using one account...

As the game expands it will eventually become a feature, but there has been no mention of it coming soon.

you and me both XD altho ive already beat all the lvl 0 - 35 quests and gotten all the best striker equipment for a lvl 38 going on 39 lol question for me atm is how far well the lvl cap go untill they "give it a break" or well they just keep steadly raising it to what ever true lvl cap wf is

Elementer -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/7/2010 1:53:49)

I can't find anywhere else to ask this or find it, but I'm going to start an account right now in WarpForce. Is there any guides for me? Or can someone explain the difference between a striker/gunner and a human/elf/drakel? Thanks :)

Technomancer -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/7/2010 5:27:25)

@Elementer:

The main difference lies in which stats they train/which weapons they use. Quote from Aelthai:

quote:

ORIGINAL: Aelthai

Since my name appears to be being taken in vain ... :-p

Let me be clear: a "pure" Gunner would NOT have STR. Indeed, if you are planning to train STR you should not be using Guns - they do not depend on STR at ALL which means that those points are wasted.

Gunner is the "default" weapon set - everyone who does not train STR should use Guns. This also means that if you are training STR, you should not be using Guns - because sticks should be better for you :-)

A Striker would focus on STR, DEX and LUK, while a Gunner would focus on DEX and LUK only. Gunners are 'weaker' (since guns don't receive stat bonus exept from Lucky Strikes), but since they only have two core stats, they can use those stat points in other stats (CHA/END).

As for guides ... If you're just starting, I would suggest taking a look at DragonYugi's Beginner's Guide to Awesomeness. It introduces you to the game, given you some basic information on what all the buttons do, what your character info screen looks like, how the battle system works, stat builds, ... . Though since WF isn't all that different from AQ, you might not need this.

Before you make a character, it's probably a good idea to take a look at the =WF= Stat Training thread to see more detailed info on which builds exists, and what stats do as well. So you get a good idea of what class you'd like to choose/what stat build suits you. Should you decide to go with Striker, you'll find that moneybags' Guide to weapons and stats of a striker will have all the further info you need.

As for races, at the moment, they don't do anything. There might be plans to add some 'special abilities' to each race, but that would be a question staff only knows.

moneybags -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/7/2010 11:26:54)

A more minor difference is the different equipment each class starts with. Strikers start off with the WarpTracker Striker and the WarpTracker Sword while Gunners begin with the WarpTracker Gunner and the WarpTracker Pistol.

Elementer -> RE: =WF= Questions and Answers Thread (9/7/2010 13:00:34)

Thanks! So there's no difference between Elf/Human/Drakel? Except for the looks, I mean.
