Hm. I guess that I'm thinking of the subraces more as alliegances than anything. Basically, that it doesn't matter if you are a dracopyre, a vamp or whatever in the blood, but which of the subrace leaders you have chosen to follow.

They're not allegiances. They are actual physical changes to your body that just so happen to come with built-in allegiances.

I tend to think of subraces as somewhere between classes and clans. There's the power division, but there's also the faction division. It makes sense for a fighter to progess to a knight, but switching sides every few levels dosen't seem very elegant story-wise.

Except like I said, Darkovia seems to be progressing in a direction where you can be any of the three subraces and still be on the same side.

No, it's a civil war now, encompassing all the subraces, and it's Dracopyre(with various minions) vs. Dracopyre(with various minions), ultimately.

When i had become level 10 dracopyre (Nightreign's side) and i switched to Gracefang's side, i noticed that my progress of the other side was erased. Why couldnt i be level 10 in both gracefangs and nightreigns?

It may have something to do with the fact that they are opposing factions. Hence switching sides causes you too lose all your "progress" with the side you left. Aslo, welcome to the side of good. Lady Cenara thanks you for deciding to help her cause.

but still, with vampires and werewolves, i could master them both, so whats the difference? And more importantly, even if they (AQ) stick to the current plans, shouldnt they write a note/ warning to those of us who didnt know it would be erased??

My favourite class is Mage, best class ever, not up for debate (not at least while Wizard and Archmage are still on the works).

A timeframe hasn't been given for one specific reason - The staff don't know. They're trying to get it out as soon as possible, but there have been... set backs... and they have to produce a weekly release as well. I'd say it's a fair bet that it isn't coming out this year though, what with all the releases until New Year already planned - Next two weeks are continuing Euky's quest chain, then most likely Frostval.

hmmm, well, have YOU found any better darkness guests?(if they r over my lvl or cost MP dont even bother to answer, i mean free guests, or ones wit a mild SP cost, and not ones from MC quest tingies)

coughallguestswillconsumeeitherMPorSPpostsweepcough ...Ow. That one was painful. gets a cough drop Let's see here... Necromancer's getting a massive overhaul Post-Sweep anyway. UM is apparently going to be turned into a Darkness spell, for one. UG will get a larger multiplier and cost SP, the guest will get an MP cost or SP cost (and a sizable buff), Fear will either be renamed or (more likely) inflict the actual Fear effect... Stuff like that. Not to mention the base attack, blocking, modifiers, and skills & skill costs will scale to level and be significantly better than they are right now. --------------- I'm still looking forward to what Shadowslayer will look like Post-Sweep. Not just because it's horribly weak now and will look better simply by comparison, but also because I've got a themed character that'll be primarily using trigger-items - a monster-hunter, if you will - and I'm also highly curious as to what the skills will look like. Not to mention, Dragonslayer got a nice art update, and I suspect Shadowslayer might, as well.

I have always favored Mage and Wizard Class. I have been patiently waiting for the ArchMage class. I believe that will be the next most interesting style of fighting...
