AiW: Nothing can be beyond luck. Luck could allow a level 1 character beating a level 33 one, assuming they could battle. It just most likely would never happen.

It can be beyond normal good luck. A good example of this was in DF as I was finishing the last unbeatable challenge. Without any defences, I dodged 26 times in a row, and assuming certain punishment for the opponent for being lower level, the rate of that happening is 1 in 2.5M. Not feasible, but it happened. (And that wasn't the whole battle even)


Just because something ridiculously lucky happens doesn't mean it has to be haxxxxxxxxx.

Not saying it wasn't the case, but it's completely possible. Just not likely.

Also, ND, this being Flash, it would be quite easy for someone that has a bit more knowledge on this type of things than me to change any and all numbers. I couldn't (and wouldn't) do it, but I know it can be done.

I do knw that there are Alot of Hacks/Cheats I remember awhile back ago a mercenary did multi on the first and 2nd turns

There are some hack and cheat with stats as I heard (I guess staff up to date those things even faster than us) but back on topic. It's very possible for low Level to Win High level Varium without cheating hacking.

First, the chance to go first of low level is better as always.
Second, Crit!
Third, some insane skill
Forth, High level Varium user made bad move

Example, my Alt Mer acc, use Double BB Gun Aux combo, if I cit both BB and f the other have low def and no heal he's sure dead

I suggest a new Stat to add in ' Crit and First Attack rate '
Could be called something like Keen
which means by definition:

I think the idea for support to decide who goes first is actually a good idea, and as for boosting auxs, that's actually not all that bad, the real problem is that it increases rage so quickly and increases crit chance and deflect, in order to change luck, I think that it should be tech that increases chance to deflect, and as for chances to crit, there should be none, just have a base line, and never let it be increased (except through skills that say so already, like bunker, lucky strike, and the lot). As for the quicker rage, I don't know, I never really like that it increased with support, still trying to think of a way to maybe change it, but maybe not, the tlm class really skews ones vision for fairness in the whole game.

Also, as for balance for other classes, and not just for an overpowerful stat, it is really getting rediculous, the TLM class NEEDS a serious nerf, why won't the devs fix this, it really is a serious problem, especially when at this point in time when var and non-var is so differnt in power, that a full var bh, lvl 33 with telsa, dragon writ blade, stun gun and bunny zooka, gets wiped on the floor by a lvl 33 no-var tlm, and there wasn't even any crits, but there were deflects.

Look, I know people can really get so upset that they can't think of anything constructive, but here it is. Devs, this is up to you, it has become completely bogus, but in order to make the TLm class actually balance, you must do this. Either get rid of reroute, or get rid of hybrid armor. If hybrid armor is removed, replace it with defense matrix. If reroute is removed, replace it with staic charge, and then give the CH reroute

Yes you have a point, but here's the trick: do not smoke screen. By just striking normally you take of 30-40 dmg
and if they matrix you gun then smoke so that you get a 2 turns where there's no matrix , just smoke :)

Lower leveled people automatically get the higher first strike chance regardless of support.

That's the only one I know of right now.

We could be able to reduce block chance to 0% , i got massive dex advantage but still ppl block me with funny dex

Crit's def/res ignore should be 30%

If both players have same support there should be a 1% chance to crit-deflect

If both player have same dex there should be a 1% chance to block

Tech should control Deflection

than we can say this game is depend on strategy , now its just who is lucky wins.

In that case tank TLMs with massive tech and a significant dex advantage over you after they have smoked you (especially since Tech increases Smokescreen's effectiveness) would be stronger than ever; not only can they take irritatingly little damage from you, they have a much greater chance of taking even less or no damage at all. Hence I disagree with your proposed solution; at least in the context of the current EpicDuel.

Indeed; however attributing those values to other or even new stats wouldn't solve the problem. I would personally propose having no stat increasing/reducing crit rate or even rate of rage gain. Its influence on first strike chance should also be decreased.

On a less serious note, I wonder if having Field Medic scaling with max EP is a good idea...:S

^i dunno, I would much rather it be that static worked the same way that bloodlust does as a passive, but then just switch the ratios of it with the tech mages reroute(not the tlm's reroute).

The RNG isn't really random it is affected by human thought. So I guess if a person was a master of controlling the RNG, they could put luck factors in their favor.

sometimes i believe there are cheats.
for example this one guy lvl 28
i smoked him and he had 15 dex
while i had 78 and he blocked me 8 times in a row -.- while i had way more dex than him and smoked him twice so most of those attacks he was smoked.

I beat a tac merc STR abuse two times in a row. She had the three-skull club (I think a SS item).

I somehow won. Just lucky.

I think support is fine, its not our fault that we can buy only varium full enhacement to make massive support builds...
Support-STR abuser is only delta-enhacement fault only... and as i told in other post, nerfing FM wont make supporters weaker...

Support buffs:
Deflect
Rage gaining
Crits
Aux
Skills ( Multi )
First attack

That's 6 things that are affected by Support.
I'm sticking with my idea of making a new Skill called ' Keen ' in which
Crits, Aux and First attack is put.

This would ' fix ' the Overpowerdness of Support builds in general.
( Yes, I'm looking at you Support Tact mercs and Support TechMages )

And i really think Strenght abuse build is a lot a lot more oped than support... support only can hit like "35-40" one time each 3 turns... a strenght build can hit all turns over 38-40 (with smoke) if u have a low stats build like me... ah! almost forget the criticals and deflections of str builds ryt now xDD

I have to add: I only have 2 skill support affected FM/artillery... if u talk about TM? maybe lol... and u are wrong, like 40% of battles i start second.

And what about the usual 5-7 +XX primary? i can only hit 3 damage lol xD i dont know what is the good about in support ehwn u only can hit big damage per 3 turns.. and heal after 4 turns? what u want 6 turns coldown?

Jealous of not being able to abuse Sup like that? Why should I?

It becomes more clear, everytime I see a Support abusing Tact merc saying they are ' not OP '
or that the opponent is jealous. Sort of giving us the impression that they don't want any sort of balance at all.

Stat abuse thnx to varium weaps-armor and enhace... that's the root of the problem, but what we can do about i? nothing... non variums wants more ballance... but varium users with super stats will still there 4 ever and ever... so the nonvarium - varium gap (i think...) will never stop.
