RR far better than BL.

BL counts on you hitting your opponent. If you cant hit them, you dont gain health. No health = Dead.
RR counts on your opponent hitting you. If they don't hit you, no worries. You don't die.

RR is at 30% at max, BL is at 23%.

And by my above post, even if it takes a turn to heal, I find it is far more better than BL.

Bloodshield is a great Buff it lasts for six rounds and gives a nice bit of Res for 0 energy(and teh addinitonal res pays for teh cost in life no problem) it does not need a buff

I wonder if the testers really read all these suggestions or have time to read them, but I got some here:
1. Make defense improve by every 2 points of dex, which merc classes dont add points to and cannot take advantage of
2. Remove technician from the TLM class and replace it with intimidate
3. Remove either reroute, hybrid armor, or field medic from the TLM class and replace with stun grenade

I say make a new passive for TtMs.

Recharge:
Users get a % of their Max EP returned every 4 turns. The % starts at 3% and ends at 12%, +1% per Skill LV higher than 1. The requirements are 14 Tech, +2 per Skill LV higher than 1.

This replaces Reroute.

Also, increase Frenzy's EP cost to 13 at LV1, +2 per Skill LV higher than 1.

Also, why shouldn't Venom Strike scale with LV?

True. I also think that Venom Strike's req's are too high. If they put a req onto Toxic Grenade then it should be 44-46 technology since Venom Strike requires 42 technology.

Venom strike definitely needs a buff, its blockable, do less dot and needs class specific wep , while toxic grenade is unblockable, do more Dot and does not need class specific wep

Support tactical mercs could really do with a nerf, anyone agree?

REALLY REALLY REALLY BORING fighting them, when they just do massive aux, massive heal, massive artillery, rinse over and over and over.


4months+ since tac were mercs released apparently and STILL they are stupidly OP. so here we are again, please can we get an actual fix rather
than buffing them again and saying its a nerf, when really its just a nerf for every other class and buffs for support mercs.

how about every class gets HYBRID ARMOR? seems fair. if tac mercs aren't OP then no other class would be OP either right.

(what i think)

1) I think this will let classes be able to go against TLM more easily. I can already kill them but it takes me way too long.
2) um...idk really. its really hard to think. I think it would probably weakened through agility...or something...they're obviously going to change something big time.
3) i think they're just gonna put requirements, change the skills, and stuff. What i really want is on balance discussion page 13. (U REALLY NEED TO CHECK IT OUT)
4) better, i think the ED team is focusing on the features. They're not focusing on events for right now which I think that is best. The gaming experience makes me feel better but I am deeply thinking for a fun event soon but whatever it takes to make my time for that event better, i can wait. :)

Hmm. How about not letting any Multi Attacks stack with Rage. It ain't fair to be able to rain mega DMG because of Rage. This would equalise Artillery with other Multi Attacks.

@above: This is more of a discussion regarding the upcoming balance changes and update actually (in my opinion it should be merged with the DNs thread, but I don't know).

on topic-

1) I'm happy that there's a balance team in place now, because this means that the balance changes aren't all revolving around the beliefs of Titan, Nightwraith and Charfade. I still think that they're quite biased with the changes that they desire to implement (Wiseman is obsessed with completely removing heal loop from the game when it isn't actually that much of a problem and it is one of the funnest type of builds to utilise). Regardless of this, they still want all classes to be able to compete fairly and that's a good goal :D.

2) I think that the nerf is going to reduce the effectiveness of support builds and it will probably be centered around completely nullifying the possibility of a heal loop build. I don't know what they will do; maybe add a requirement, change the stat it increase by, who knows :P?

3) The Tactical Mercenary skill tree will probably be altered and they might add a few requirements to some of their skills as the icing on the cake. When I use the word 'altered', I mean that they will change the position of some of the skills and a few skills may be changed.

4) Retrain Revamp has been a feature which was promised ages ago. A lot of players will be glad that it's finally here and it certainly makes retraining a lot easier, and that makes it easier to create and test a variety of different builds ^_^.

It's nice. Balance is a good decision.

Not sure, if they don't cripple it for those who aren't support abusers it'll be awesome. :)

They deserve it. You can't run a game where 1 class can beat 5 others.

Tacticals are gonna fall down from the food chain. Hopefully back to the centre, where equal competition reigns.

They may increase FM's Increase rate to 4 Support. I don't mind much, but STR builds will be moar powerful then.

Best thing ever , i dont mind if they remove it completely , probably they will make it static , so it will not improve with supp , no more +60 heal with 1 lvl FM :)

Str build really doesnt require nerf , i see alot ppl defeated me , if you cant its really your noobish :P

New?! im gonna return my old class BH :) and keep Smoke-massacre build :) , massacre nerfed , fieldmedic nerfed so it will be like negative times negative = positive so we will be return to gamma :D

Personally, I am rather frustrated that the devs keep nerfing FM because the TLMs abuse it so much. The nerfs that I have heard, about making FM a more static concept so thatyou may get more bang for your buck if you have less support sounds like it is going to help out str TLMs more than anything else.

and str BH will be back ontop

dont really know, however it makes support builds way less effective. making str builds more effective against those.

what about it?
hybrid is getting a nerf, reroute, maul, frenzy.
with this field medic thing, support is nearly dead. and str will have too much requirements to worry about

About time!
These changes should of happened a long time ago before they did alot of damage to the game.

2)
Feild medic is fine, however support TLM are not! the concept of heal loop is ok but with a TLM weilding its power means you can deal enough damage to ever end the loop EVER!
If tactical mercs are given a good enough nerf then maybe they wont need to nerf this skill.

3)
Please do, make them ALOT! weaker.
If there was only one balance adjustment the devs could ever make I would recomend it be the ending of this classes Oped rein.

My question is how do the other classes heal? And if they dont remove it please note that nerf your doing to the TLMs will also effect the mages,Bh(not really) merc,CH and BM. Try not to wipe out all classes will you. ... Please[;)][:D]
