chrisraine -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 2:47:12)

the special ability of the new mutating weps are nice and im tempted to buy them because of that.. BUT i really dont like the stat placements of physical wep (i currently need physical primaries).. the energy wep is good but if i use it, i'll end up having all energy weps which i dont think is good..

EDIT: bought the energy wep (was tempted to buy it.. so baaddd LOL).. i had to buy some physical gun and aux along the way..

rajkumar -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 3:01:14)

I buyied both after thinking for hours i get a build for both of the weapon.

Fay Beeee -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 4:56:12)

Dont forget guys
The 40 challenge mission does not have a time limit on it.
As long as you do not abandon quest you can do them gradually. [:)]

Calogero -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 6:11:22)

The stat retrain has a major flaw, If you miss clicked a stat or skill and accidently trained it, you need to pay again just for 1 point.

Glad to see it's released but can't say if it's worth all the delays

PivotalDisorder -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 6:17:44)

@andy123: if you made a mistake using the old system you had to retrain to fix 1 point too. best thing to do is don't make a mistake.

Lycus -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 6:34:47)

@Andy: I really don't know how you can complain about that. On the old system, as Ashari already posted, it took over 2 minutes to retrain - that plus the fact that if you put 1 point wrong, then you can't go back, and then would have to spend another 2 mins retraining once again, would cost no end of time.
This new system, as Ashari has also posted, only takes about 40 seconds to retrain - that put with the fact that once you've put all your points in, you can look over what you've done, then take away any points and replace them if you have gone wrong, means that you save credits, and time, which is a huge improvement for players!
If you make a mistake, and then don't notice it until after your retrain, because you didn't look at what you've done to make sure you've done it correctly, then that is you fault - since the system does allow you to replace points, and makes retraining very easy. If you miss click a stat, then you just have to take it off, then put it back where it should be, simple. You shouldn't have to pay again with this system, if you take the small amount of time to look to see if you've retrained how you want! :)

Calogero -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 6:35:22)

you had to pay 500 then, now we need to pay more ;)

PivotalDisorder -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 6:38:35)

@Rainaka: it still needs some work.

you cannot check your gear stat requirements without exiting the training page and then you got to start over.
when you go to retrain it leaves your equipment on, so a button to allow us to open our equipment page over the top would be great.

for now I'll use the wiki if I can't remember my reqs.

Lycus -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 6:45:29)

@Psibertus: That's already been thought of, and I know Titan is already working on the whole unequipping thing. The best thing to do, which is something I sometimes do, is just open a notepad (or get a piece of paper out) and jot down the stats you need for now. It still needs some work, but we couldn't delay it more to add some of the bonuses that we would have liked to! :)

@Andy: It costs less at lower levels, more at higher levels, which is a lot fairer. Let's be honest, at level 32/33/34 it's really not going to hurt having to pay just over 100 credits more, especially, as said above, if you went wrong on the other, you'd have to pay 500 again, which means you've paid 1,000 credits all together. Where as this one if you go wrong, if you actually think about things, then you can sort it there and then, and only use 660 credits (if at level 33), so really in that respect, quite a few people will save credits!

sylar67 -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 6:57:33)

^ and when we change class we cant equip any weapons :) and the way your saying it
quote:

is just open a notepad (or get a piece of paper out) and jot down the stats you need for now.

i (most of the times ) like to make up the build and try diffrent weapons on ... bla bla bla not just go support ok 42 dex requ 33 tech req 95 hp and all stats on support like ev1 does -.-

PivotalDisorder -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 7:04:55)

@Sylar: many of us already know what items we are going to use in advance, so meeting the requirements is the most important part,
then after that we know how many stat points we have left to play with :)

@Rainaka: that is great news and I agree, better to release now and tag new features on in the future.

Lycus -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 7:10:46)

I think Psibertus has pretty much just said what I would have said for you Sylar :)

@Psibertus: Exactly, and I can't guarantee that it will be the next release, but it will be done as soon as Titan has the time (There's a HUGE to-do list). As I said, for now, I can only recommend opening up a Notepad, or jotting the reqs on a piece of paper (though it may be inconvenient, it does the job) :D - At the moment, when looking at the old system and the new one - you've not really lost much at all, closing it down to look at your weaps, then starting again still takes less time to retrain than before. So overall it is an improvement, and hopefully, as time permits, that improvement will only get bigger!

SouL Prisoner -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 7:42:23)

T.600 -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 7:43:12)

@above: In part two of the release ;).

Calogero -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 8:09:47)

God I hope that Quest for the 40 challenges gets Deleted soon and never to be returned...

They ban for dummying yet they release a quest that pushes people to do it
It's even to much to report

PivotalDisorder -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 8:24:38)

I understand they made that quest to encourage people to interact but the majority want to do it as quick as possible and this new 5-5 thing
is almost as bad as dummying. how is losing on purpose acceptable lol. you should have to EARN all 40 wins and then do the quest justice.

but hey, this is a game, 99% of the playerbase will always take the easiest possible path, even if it means they actually have no fun doing it.
[beating someone who doesnt fight back is fun?]

zelemania -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 8:30:40)

What's that Chomp! mission?

Calogero -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 8:31:19)

Seeing Dummying is Banable, Same rule should apply to this new 5 for 5 thing.
Quest or not, it's still dummying

stupid thing is there are to much to report

Epic Pwnser -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 8:40:39)

^There is an exception to dummying.
As long as you are not using it to get on the leaderboards to win a cheevo, or something along those lines.
I have heard from my trusty sources that you can do it to help a friend with a mission.

Calogero -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 8:44:56)

40 wins extra is still 40 toward the daily. How can you see a difference between justified and illegal dummying?

It's crap like this that people take advantage off...
People will be all like ' Sorry I thought Dummying was Legal ' or ' Someone said you are allowed to Dummy-exchange '

also, go to Oz 6, You don't see ' friends ' help eachother, you see Random people ask for 5f5

Wandering Guardian -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 9:02:55)

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, i had a flick through the posts and didnt see anyone mention it so here goes:

HalloWarrior achievement has returned, you can go and get it for 2500 Tokens. I'm assuming it won't stack for you if you already have it as it doesn't have a year date its just the same cheevo.
