Just reposting what I said before about the 40 challenge. In case you missed it.
And Rain - I love the new retrain - I have messed up on it a bit too, but now i use paper and pen. I will do a note on all my weps (I have) and requirements for future retrains. It will be worth the little bit of time and save my brain (which is now showing for Halloween - MWHAHAHAHA)

Dont forget guys
The 40 challenge mission does not have a time limit on it.
As long as you do not abandon quest you can do them gradually.

T.600 -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 9:22:12)

@Fay: To counter your initial statement, one may argue that this is a seasonal mission, and therefore there is not plenty of time to complete the mission. There are only a few weeks, so you will have to do at least a few challenge battles per day and win them :P.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 9:27:55)

as long as you have the mission, you can finish it next year right ? :)

Digital X -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 9:41:43)

Glad the 40 missions aren't 1 after the other, now i have to find victims people willing to accept ^_^

Fay Beeee -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 9:42:44)

T600 - yes indeed :)

psibertus - interesting question, I would like to know the answer to that one also?

PivotalDisorder -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 10:10:41)

the thought of getting 40 wins on 7 characters doesn't fill me with joy, if I only have a few weeks too I will cry

Basicball -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 13:04:54)

question: the amount of new missions, including the secret mission (!), is 5, right?

Fay Beeee -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 13:23:13)

As far as I know. Yes
4 are in wiki + chomp.

Basicball -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 13:42:44)

ok, that means i found them all, now all i have to do is complete the dummy-encouraging one ;p

edwardvulture -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 16:10:55)

So pumpkleaver will never be higher leveled
and soul harvester, harvest cleaver, and dread cannon. are perma rares?

We are releasing two limited-time Harvest mutating weapons, the Spectral Reaper and the Harvest Reaper. These powerful weapons change class with you! The Spectral Reaper features an energy club, energy blades, and a physical staff, while the Harvest Reaper can become physical blades, a physical club, or an energy staff.
Rumor has it that they will also have an additional effect similar to the Curse effect on the Delta weapons. What could this be? Only Titan knows for sure!

notice how it says limited time yet the weapons released in limited quantity.

-.-

Basicball -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 16:36:39)

^they can be both [8|]

Hun Kingq -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 18:55:18)

This was a good update retraining is a bit expensive but works were you can see the points to where you want them with the weapons still armed but the mission with 40 challenges it should have been 20 2vs2 and 20 1vs1.

Dummying is going on big time in 2vs2 one was a merc using a tech mage as a dummy I reported both of them, under the list of reports it should have dummying on the list but I checked other. All the the tech mage did was just stand there. If no clicks from the mouse are detected then that character should be suspended from battle. After the suspension and they do it again then the Administrator should find out who owns that account and ban them for three months.

If I go into 2vs2 with both my characters trust me none will stand around because either way it would be a win for one of them. but I have never did that or would not even try because it would be too distracting.
.
With the Bounty Hunter I struck 8 times and out of those 8, 7 were blocked when his dex was lower then mine and I did not block once. The deflection for the merc classes has increase and no matter how high or low my strength is I get deflected in every single match.

Because with each update and a lot of things that the Blood Mage is lacking it is starting to look like the Blood Mage class is and will be the most failed class ED will have ever created and if one say differently look at the staff character pages how many are Blood Mages? Titan himself is not even a Blood mage but a Tech mage. Take a look at how many players are Blood Mages and many switched back to the Tech Mage some switched to the Tact Mercs and some to the Cyber Hunter, I hope that with each update things will get better for the Blood mage class but they don't.

Maybe the next update there will be something down for the Blood Mage Class or we might have to wait for the next evolution.

precisely why so many desperate players have turned to dummying. way-to-go admins for encouraging cheating. [:D]

Elf Priest JZaanu -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 20:54:52)

Though there are issues of dummying a mission for a chance for this fun sword, it had done one thing, inspire people to play more. Today the servers were packed and playing. I have never seen this amount of excitement since the initial stages of the introduction of ED into the AE family. This is a small issue, and in the long run, this will be dealt with.

On the flip side, many cap level players are fearful of challenges or challenging due to their victor/loss ratio being adjusted.

In the future, I think having Seasonal Battle NPCs for all level stages of this game can help for future missions and maybe a special mission battle selector mode introduced where equal level players are matched up instead of open challenges. Now dummy challenges are gone.

This game is about fun and this release has been extremely fun for me.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 21:07:30)

I got to spend some time on Doom which just made my week so more people are playing so if ED is failing I don't see it. Keep us the work Devs I cannot wait to see what else Harvest Festival has in store for us.

PS why did Pumklever change stats it was 13 STR 3 Dex 5 Tech now it is 10 STR 5 Dex 5 Tech

DeathGuard -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 21:10:45)

@OWA: I think stats changes depending on class
Also I have enjoy a lot this release!

frogbones -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 21:17:31)

I dunno. This release has been a bust more or less. Level cap being raised is about it. Running around completing "missions" in order to acquire lowish-level weapons and pocket change? I have zero incentive to do any of these.

The retrain system is better, for sure. But there are some glaring aspects that were left out. Retrain revamp has been a long time coming, so I would have thought that with all the extra time they had, it would have been more polished than it is right now. Whatever, though.

The mutating weapons, heh. What can I say? The conspiracy theorist in me sees it as a ploy to get more money. Why buy weapons that change class with you if you're not going to change class? What's that, you say? Changing class costs money (or a giant amount of credits)? Hahahahaha, Ka-ching, baby!

Just my standard (negative) $.02, lol.

DeathGuard -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 21:23:24)

Posts like the one above won't help nothing, have you anything more to do? Go do some exercise, to be sitting all day long in the comp is too bad :P

frogbones -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 21:31:00)

^

But a comment like, "This update rocks!" somehow does help?

Lol.

Oh, and 6'1" 175 if you get my meaning. ;)

DeathGuard -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 21:34:36)

^At least, it doesn't degrades someone's work
Get this: 3r3s1t@rad01ns3ns1ble ;)
Also nice message there, hopefully you don't get nightmares :P

T.600 -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 23:03:07)

I don't understand why they bothered making the Harvest reaper physical, physical and energy for mages. It's a waste of time, and such a shame because mages are stuck with another physical staff which modifies strength. It would have been really nice if we could finally get a good physical staff...If they really wanted to do the physical, physical, energy combination, bounty/cyber hunters would have been happy with an energy weapon which modifies support or even (tactical) mercenaries. Mages were the only class which would have desired a lovely physical staff with modifiers like the Harvest Reaper, but no, they made it energy.

Lord Nub -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/22/2011 23:19:35)

In response to Huns post,

BM is not so underpowered. Skills are becoming more and more useful with every update and a high tech plasma cannon + rain build works pretty well.

Only difference between that and the proven successful BH multi build is that they are unable to block as well as the BH, therefore atom smash hits more and artys give a bit more damage.

In the end BM's have the cannon ignoring def and a massive chance to crit whereas BH's get a crap stun nade. Over time peeps will see many more BM's.

I'd suggest paying close attention to the skill focused classes with Bloodlust. There devastating when used properly in 1v1s and especially 2v2s.

Hun Kingq -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/23/2011 6:07:19)

Lord Nub, for one I did not say the Blood Mage is Under Powered but with the amount of blocks and deflections I noticed an increase of you can not see that power with tact mercs putting Hybrid Armor on max resistance with +9 +1 at 26 resistance you don't see the power of the Plasma Cannon, we have nothing to increase our energy based equipment/skills to lower the tech of the other classes to bring the power of the Gamma bot down where as the two other classes have the debuff skills to increase their damage or affect the bot. In a 1vs1 yesterday I accepted a challenge from a level 33 tech mage, my resistance 27 + 9 + 1, he malfunctioned me I put on technician then debuff having 30 +9 +1, he used the Plasma laser and like if I was still malfunction he got 47 critical damage so I had to check if it ignores resistance because I have a gamma bot too and it does not so in that and many battles no matter how high the resistance is seems like we have none. In a 2vs2 match my partner a Level 30 Bounty Hunter had level 7 reflex boost with 26 +9 +1 defense (already on) on I put on the level 7 Reflex boost he got smoked I did not Artillery Strike happened he got 6 and 9 damage I got (25 30) damage so in that case with all my defenses boosted up it seems like there was none.

Checking your character page, ManThong, your a level 33 bounty Hunter do how can you say the skills are getting more useful with each update if you do not play a Blood Mage and if the skills are so usefull switch to a Blood Mage play in 2vs2 for 6 months and let's see how fast your losses increases over your wins especially when you get a level 24, 25 and 26 partner against a 30 and 33 or a 33 and a 33 as I always do.

Calogero -> RE: =ED= DN 19 October,2011 Harvest Part Deux(2) (10/23/2011 6:24:33)

BM's are ' good ' but they still need the damp Assimilate
