edwardvulture, That build use seen was the NPC Build I was just playing around with a new bot and no I don't need help with a build plus you don't have to have high health to win a battle if you know how to win and yesterday I had over 100 2vs2 wins very little losses. Basically a Blood Mage either needs to have a Good strength/DEX build or a Good strength/DEX/Tech build depending on which skill you want to use and if you want to use max plasma cannon twice and without any energy regain with heal you would need 83 energy and that is just not fair especially when the majority of players have high resistance except for the hunters they have high dex.

Another thing that is not balanced is the damage from the energy side arm and the physical side arm for some unknown reason you get more damage from the energy side arm then the physical side arm..

Easy way to solve balance problems
Replace smoke with intimidate, hybrid with P bloodshield
Bloodmage: replace intimidate with smoke, remove plasma rain make fireball a multi hit and slide in assimilate.
Merc: give bloodshield 15% dmg into energy conversion
Any thoughts?

Tech mage could use a decent buff. It is hard to use a sword well with.

Smokescreen made them OPd. As will Malfunction or Field Commander. They already deal huge amounts of raw damage. Increasing the damage output of them even more will be OPd especially since the most powerful skill of that class increases greatly with Strength and is unblockable. It's stronger than Deadly Aim with a high damage and it's not deflectable either.

Remorse .. its very simple.. any game you play... let it be AQW or Mech Quest.. paying players will have the advantage.. THAT IS WHY THEY "PAY"!! to get the advantage.. yet only players in epic duel complain.. its common sense.. you don't pay you don't get the benefits.. its a universal rule buddy!! and accept the fact.. without paying players like us .. their will be no epic duel as gold said before!!!

To close the matters .. they are further nerfing the TLM.. So that chapter is also closed..

Hmm.

Bloodmagi:
1. What if they give FireBall a 15% chance to cast a LV3 SmokeScreen based on your current Technology?
2. Let BloodMagi have less reliance on STR, FireBall's improver be changed to Dexterity.
3. Atom Smash (Staff/Club Requirement) goes in to replace Plasma Cannon, since they have 2 other Damager (FireBall, Bezerk) skills already.

Tactical Mercenaries:
Reroute be replaced with Shadow Arts, and Atom Smasher replaced with Assimilate (Staff/Club Requirement) , so they can still gain EP and drain it.

@drinde No. Because most strength staves for mages are physical. Berzerker plus physical staff plus Smoke=OPd

I was thinking of fire rain since they could just recoiler plasma rain, although I like your Idea. Maybe the weapon could shoot out 2 fireballs that each hit a player

actually a multi that ran on str would make sense.
we already have one that runs ontech, dex, and support.
the only one missing is str. plus this would also allow bloodmage to get assimilation and replace plasma rain. because plasma bolt is a multi.

Why would you need a buff if you can get 90%?

Maybe giving FireBall a lower base then. I'd name it Blood Rain. :3

How about letting it have a Static 25% HP Drain, and having a Base Damage like FireBall? STR would improve it, but not directly, only through improving the skill. The higher the LV, the more base DMG it does, kinda like FireBall.

@Drinde Still no. They'll be getting an energy drain someday other than Assim, Atom smash or EMP. Also, why would you take the strength reliance out of a strength class? It's like taking the ice cream from the ice cream cone. And another thing, the balance team already plans on adding new Multi skills and Ultimates for the new classes already.

Blood mage Skill idea:


switch fieball or plasma cannon for a new skill called.

Nightmare.
sacrifise some of you hp to Drain you enemies mana and give yourself 50% of the drained amount.
warm up: 0
cool down:2
Increases with: Support

lvl example with ruffly 80 support
1 : costs 10 hp drains 20 mana
2: costs 11 hp drains 22 mana
3 costs 12 hp drains 24 mana
4 costs 13 hp drians 26 mana
5 costs 14 hp drains 28 mana
6 costs 15 hp drians 30 mana
7 costs 16 hp drains 32 mana
8 costs 17 hp drians 34 mana
9 costs 18 hp drians 36 mana
10 costs 19 hp drians 38 mana


WHY?
Blood mages lack a mana drian and lack a source of energy needed for their high energy costing attacks.

I thought hmm maybe I will make something diffrent for blood mages so it will AT THE SAME TIME solve their probelm of lack of mana.

Also blood mages to me seem like they should have a skill that uses HP as a sacrifise similar to blood sheild , thier name is BLOOD mages however.

So you said theyl will get one soon,

Whos to say they cant have a new skill? your not head of balance are you???

Read it again and you'll see I covered every energy draining skill we have in-game. I may not be head of balance team but I do have 2 members in my friends list I can talk with about the balance changes. The new classes will be getting a new ultimate skill and multi skill. Will one of those skills cover the energy drain skill I mentioned for BM? Possibly but not everything goes according to plan so they may get reworked.
