I got a 301 with a varium bomb.

skeletondude -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 13:09:22)

^the highest with a varium bomb can be around 500+

8x -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 13:25:02)

I like the war idea a lot, but I think in next war varium bombs shouldn't be released. People should battle NPCs and if they are lucky they get few normal bombs. Winning on leaderboards used to be hard and take a lot of time, but now it is just pay to win...

ansh0 -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 13:35:44)

hey, do Kramus Klaws do x2 damage on lowe? like the frost wraps.....i hope so....i already bought frost scim.

edwardvulture -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 13:57:57)

the new weapons have no frost effect

Vendile -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 13:59:51)

...You mean the old Frosty didn't return?

I hit 497 on a critical Super Bomb (var kind). I think that's the record so far.

I would enjoy it if score was determined based on kills. That's at least how AQW, DF, and MQ wars work. They always have a bar based on player victories, Member or non-member alike. ED should have the same thing. Sure, varium is supposed to give an advantage. But the main focal point is to have players have an easier times. The bomb damage shouldn't be counted in the war score, because, as many other people have mentioned, it's essentially pay-to-win.

sylar67 -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 14:16:06)

lol ive done 505 :P .... and about all ppl talking about the var and stuff .... lol
they made that on purpose to sak our moneh ! -.-" it even worst then warkills to get 1st place pft -.-"

DeathGuard -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 14:17:57)

highest normal hit with bomb has been 96, the least have been 46 each time :/

Retrosaur -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 14:19:37)

To the devs who are reading this (ahem Charfade XD)
Christmas is the time for giving, is it not? I propose that the bomb rate be increased. It's extremely hard to get a bomb, and I'm sure most non-var players would like to get an Achievement with war kills. Just increase a bit more, or if your still reading this (nice job!), at least tell us the rate.

Thanks.

TTG Sean -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 14:24:18)

The war is a joke, there is absolutely no chance to win without varium lmao.

Epic Pwnser -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 14:27:06)

Exiles are in a mini-power hour right now lol :)
Edit: Aw darn it. Ended

DeathGuard -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 14:28:06)

I'm enjoying a lot the release and I'm increasing my points really fast, also I have got like 5 bombs in just 13 kills xD

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 14:36:38)

Well this is sad. This entire war is entirely pay2win. I mean you get 5 points for killing a level 10 NPC. 10 points for killing a level 20 NPC. And finally 20 points for killing a level 30 NPC. Yet you get 50 war points for war bomb and 200 war points for a super war bomb. And the super war bombs are avaible for 50 varium. Aside from that whenever you blow up a reactor core you get 25,000 war points! Meaning whatever team has the most varium players win. So its all about who has the most money as usual. Sad I was all excited about this event expecting it to be awesome one of the biggest events ever. And it ended up being one of the most money-based events ever. I'm disapointed beyond belief. [>:]

Besides has anyone noticed it says "The side most war points at the end of this event will win the war and determine the future of Frysteland forever!"? Thats flawed because its the side with the most paying players that will win the war and determine the future of Frysteland forever! Don't we just love it! [:D]

Laces -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 14:40:24)

You guys have to realize that this is their first war. There's bound to be flaws and things they need to make better. Next war will be better. Calm down.

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 15:02:53)

Um.... I got a war bomb drop from Fenris and used it on the Exile reactor core and it did 46 damage and I got 46 war points! Um wasn't I suppose to get 50 or more depending on the critical strike chance? I'm confused I did not know my war point amount was depended on how much damage you do with the bombs and if so why does it say you get 50 war points + critical strike chance?! Can someone clear this up!

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 15:20:48)

I enjoy this war alot so much so that Skyrim is loaded and paused my the TV in the room with my computer so that is saying something.

also i enjoy the new F2P gear im working in the 10 minute breaks for the new Physical staff.

Final note War Hero is out of my league so my goal is to make Sergeant and bombardier

edwardvulture -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 15:26:15)

... Can't they just put the bombs in another category and make the cheevo called "detonator of the day" while war hero goes to the person who has the most points through killing the NPC's

zion -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 15:38:45)

A bit late on this...
The 10 inventory spaces are a huge step in the right direction.
Thanks for listening to us!

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 15:43:38)

@Edward that would be cool because F2P's would have to work there tails off just to overcome a $20 bombing raid on the core.

$20 is 2500 varium which equals 50 bombs.

50 bombs averaging at 200 kills each is 10K points.

now to equal that on a battle scale.
A F2P would have to beat the Frost Reaper 2000 times, The arctic guard 1000 times and the Yeti Hulk 500 times.

The Frost Reaper takes about 30 seconds to beat(two round fights for me) so that is 1000 minutes or 16.7 hours
The Arctic Guard takes about a minute to beat so that is once more 1000 minutes or 16.7 hours
The Yeti Hulk takes about two minutes to beat and we all know where this is going

So the bombs have more or less turned the war into a Varium gets to be the hero while the F2P's just get to be the foot soldiers.

IsaiahtheMage -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 16:04:30)

^You are 100% correct sir. This war is entirely pay2win. No point in trying if you are a nonvarium.

Fay Beeee -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 16:33:14)

Well I had 4 drop bombs to fire.
All got 50+ EXCEPT the last one which was 99. YEA!!!! LOL

is this from a non var stand point?
artic guard is 2 turns for me almost every time unless he blocks once.

i can probably kill him 150-200 times an hour at max speed.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 17:01:34)

Gold what is the point of using Varium speed on a Free to Play standpoint.

goldslayer1 -> RE: =ED= EpicDuel DNs December 15th 2011 (12/17/2011 17:24:41)

@owa
im saying it can be done by a non var aswell.
