@gold OWA is near the top of the F2P hierarchy and if it takes him as long as it does then the best non varium player isn't going to match the speed of a varium player.

a merc, a BH, or a tlm could do a 2 turn win. it just takes the right build.
the build i have isn't commonly used by tlms.

Omg you guys (the ones that are bickering/complaining) just need to chill. It's a game, if you get so worked
up over this then you seriously need to go outside and meet some humans. If you got varium then great winning and getting
bombs is easier, if you don't then oh well get over it.

@Gold It is more or less a days worth of work that shows no progress to be not listed Last place on the exile board is 21K. I use the Exile board because we are losing.

21K for a F2P would take over 33.4 hours as it is more then double that of my previous example.

So pretty much it is impossible for a F2P to be listed even with the bombs we could only get like 15K a day

the build i have for 2 turn can be adapted to mage aswell, might actually be better with high lvl malf and DA.
for tlm all i have to do is smoke, and gun.
for u it would be malf and gun.

if u could 2 turn, then u can get 21k alone from just kills in about 15-20 hours. not counting bomb drops.

u seem to be forgetting this is the first day for the release.
everyone is rushing towards specially varium. im sure if u let it cool down a bit (maybe in a week or 2) it will be more manageable.

ur a tech mage, so try a physical primary, and energy gun.
with 123 str. try to keep atleast 80 hp.

and decent dex. deadly aim to a minimum.

@gold You seem to be forgetting this is a WAR with storyline that depends on who wins and loses. People like Buffy aren't going to get just the achievement and call it good. They will be the people getting on top everyday to make sure their side wins.

well then i guess thats the devs to blame.
TBH i found this war pointless to begin with. i mean they atleast tried to get the release on time. good job by them.
but release wise, i mean why the hell even make NPCs and not have them count as wins? or give u credits/exp/tokens, and expect us to fight them. i mean yeah we could probably challenge them alot, but so could everyone else.

@gold If they counted towards our records then they would only be able to fought 5 times an hour without brainwash. Varium players would have another advantage if they need to brainwash and non variums would say the Devs are being greedy and everyone would carry the cry. Also, blaming the Devs for people determined to win is possibly the dumbest thing I've seen. You're blaming them for something they have no control over. It's like blaming your mom for something a kid from another town did to you when he passed through your town. Absolutely no connection between the two in the least bit.

^ Makes absolutely no sense. Your implying they had no idea what they were setting up and I can guarantee they in fact did.

I won't repeat my message from a few pages back, but we need a true competition to liven things up a bit again.

Also want to point out that thinking that waiting out this surge will somehow help you win in the latter won't work. Christmas is around the corner and ya know what that means. Grandma gonna give the kiddies a hundred bucks + other family members = Expect tons of it being injected into this game. This was well played by the ED team but lets hope it's not too late to add an actual competition to the mix requiring something other than cash as well.

they could have coded it so it that u can fight 20-30 an hour for the war NPCs.
and not have them count towards brainwash.

I am been very proud of this release. As the days continue, this war will become very interesting. All players should try their best, and give respectful honest opinions on how it could improve. Many I have spoken too, they see some amazing potential as I do.

Once this concludes, I will give my thoughts. But so far, I have been enjoying myself, and it is exciting to see lower level players excited about being part of something.

In regard to the achievements, it seems they are all obtainable except daily which will require work and extra monies, but beyond that, just participating enough, a player can get some achievement.

@gold So varium players can get the obvious advantage since their bomb supply doesn't rely on beating NPCs? Only thing limiting NPCs would do is cause all non variums to have a max score they can reach and that would be NPC score+super crit on each bomb, 1 from each NPC win. Limiting the battles does nothing to help the game. If it does then why is 1vs1 not limited?

@nub The staff have no idea just how much money people have. Buffy may actually be a billionaire and they would have no idea about it because she never stated. Also, you assume the staff takes time out of working so they can stalk every person in this game so they know the behavior of people. Not many people know how competitive Buffy truly is. If you want, then you could suggest the staff delay every release by another month or two so they can stalk people to find out if they're competitive or not.

I don't like that there are varium bombs mostly because the only players who will be getting the daily achievement are the ones who spend alot of money making it impossible for anyone else and for the same reasons as Lord Nub said, there isn't any compitition.

Seems like theyre trying to compensate for a dimishing playerbase by adding more things you have to buy to be competetive

It would be great to know how long this event will last, and how many points the Frysteland Contract Sergeant rank is. It will help players manage their schedule, and will provide a daily incentive in obtaining their desired achievement.
