Did you even read my post? I said encouraging balance/focus builds was a bad thing, and that shrinking the var-non var gap was a bad thing. i never even mentioned "intelligent f2p builds".

As for the idea, I am that something like that will never be implemented.

Founders got a free 9k rating, the best armor all the way till Delta, some of the best weaps (Beta blaster was the best tank gun, and still is IMHO), 1k Varium FREE, the ability to save about 5k Varium, and now a bike. For $35.

Srsly wth.

I have paid almost $500, and I could have spent way less if I got founder.

If the dev's would actually rollback my alt, I wouldn't be complaining. But after being ripped off 3 times thanks to legit hacks, I'm pretty pissed off.

Just my 2¢.

5.5K for Elite AND Founder. So 11K for Elites, not everyone was there during Alpha. c:
And how does rating affect it all? 2 latest releases have 2 cheevos worth 2K for doing few missions in like 20 mins. 1K rating for 10 mins of free playing while Founder and Elite got a raise in cheevo's rating over the time. Beating NPCs gives you about same value if not even a lot more, it's free yet requires just free time. c:

I'm sorry, what? The founder achievement is worth 5,500 rating points; not 9,000.

There is plenty of good ideas to solve the reward issue. Thanks to everybody who are contributing positively to solve this problem.

To me the simpliest solution would be to open a shop based on ranks. Ranks show how commited a player is to the game. So we could have weapons, armors, bikes, house stuff, anything really that would be available to you depending on your ranking. Since this is based on the total amount of wins, it would be fair to all.

Another easy solution would be to base the rewards on the gamer level in our Artix account. To my knowledge, it is completly useless right now. The more varium pack you buy, the more your gamer level rises. This is a very easy way to tell how much a player is contributing not only to Epicduel, but to all artix games since the account acts as a 'master accounts' for all their games.

Or they could just drop this reward gimmick at once.

As I said previously, do they really need to split the community and enrage almost everybody while they are on the verge of going public ?

That is quite good suggestions aswell Mr. The master account level could unluck shops, or "rewards", in not just ED. For all games.

He probably count that Founders got Beta cheevo for free aswell. Its just as stupid as saying Founders got the beta weps for free. We bought it as a promo, for the love of god [:@]

Here I can at last agree with you. Remorse's + Void's idea of Appreciation points would solve the problem and satisfy everyone. I suggested something along of AQW way of rewarding (3, 6, 12, 24 Months of Membership) which could also work if we change it for X, Y and Z values but the Appreciation could be a bit better if every supporter gets a reward.
About Artix account - it currently raises Lvl by how much you spent on all games overall. Doubt it could be separated as easily for every single account that's been made but purchases can be found on it anytime. That's where my idea of AQW-style rewards could count in but also the Appreciation one in a way, as you could get total Varium bought on that ED Account and get appropriate reward for it.

Last sentence of yours - nope we don't. Speaking from Founder's point of view, and I don't mind if rewards for us stop. I could live without the bike, got Charfade's Cruiser (which is now 'useless' ._.) but guess it was simply a gift (hopefully last which is separated from everyone else).

I actualy Like this idea because I'm stupid... I Sell the useless Promo's after a while ( Had Gamma Bike and Bot, now I don't... )
I even bought it multiple times but without proof now so the Gamer rank is the best solution
