Does anyone else find these a little overpowered? The classic 78/80 energy and dump skill pts into strength and hp is getting a little old. I feel like if they go first there's hardly a chance to win without blocking. Anyone else have opinions on this?

So in other words you want to nerf BM's STR builds? Then what are BM's supposed to play as..? Give them a working skilltree first, then nerf the str-improving skills...

The Blood Mage has no energy regain and for the skills to be effective is really at max, they told us mid level to max, but I found more effective on max. Fireball was one of the weakest skills that came out, which I pointed out, it took them over 6 months to make improvements. Every update since the recent ones the blood mage was constantly nerfed maybe not directly, but they were nerfed.

The Blood Mage has nothing to increase strength or damage so the blood mage has to rely on stats and enhancements to increase its power. if you are of the merc classes or the hunter classes use your energy stealing skills increase your defense, wear physical armor. If you do none of these then it is your fault that you loose the battle.

What will you do when you come across a blood mage with a high tech build and because of your low resistance and the failure to use blood shield or don't have Plasma armor on max will you want the only other power skill (plasma cannon) nerfed as well or one of the weakest multis in the game nerfed as well?

Stop trying to nerf a class that has no energy regain, no way to increase the stats that improves the Plasma cannon and fireball.

Analyze the battle and adjust you build accordingly.

Agreed. STR BMs are OP. 3 hit K.O is madness. And if you heal it is either 4 or 5 hit K.O.

@ Isaiah...

I dunno but, ever considered using that skill called Atom Smasher??? Works like a charm against BM's...

STR BM is pretty much the only build we can use so first give us an actual skill tree before complaining of OP

BMs and TMs weren't OP'ed before TLM lost their Smoke. You can't explain that!

@andy123 What do you mean its the only build they can use? Besides without any club I can't use it. And their is no good clubs for defenses. And without smoke I don't block them much and even if I do that doesn't stop their fireball or gun. And I can't deplete 140 HP in enough time before they rage kill me. @Trans Because we were OP then we where the only thing that stood in their way, us and CHs. Now that we lost smoke their OP builds can rise now because without Smoke beseker wont miss much and we can't deal enough damage in time before they rage kill. And for TMs their SC builds can rise because we can't lower their dex now and their tech spam builds can rise because we can't lower their dex too. So we can't deal enough damage before they kill us. @andy123 I don't remember any 2 hit K.O. Double Strike isn't powerful enough and stun grenade is useless. We couldn't 2 hit K.O maybe 4 hit.

Str build: Smoke -> Maul did the job most of the time, it sometimes got to 3 turns where you could use the Gun. ;)

It's tiring, seriously stop accussing other classes of being OP'ed if Balance Tracker showed CHs and TLMs doing too well while all the other classes were in the "standard line" which is balanced area. Energy TM? Atom does the job. Str BM? Atom does the job. A CH? Luck, and that is for every. single. player.
I'm awaiting the day where people start saying that Mercs have hit OP'ness line.

Funny how Smoke played major part to kill SC TMs. So let me see, Mercs could beat them before evolved classes were out - TLMs who have Reroute and no debuff now just like Mercs cannot? Really? Old CHs stood as much chance against SC TMs, with a Malf that doesn't affect it. And no Club is your problem, not classes. If you cannot use a skill, tough but it's your choice as the skill might be counter to these builds while you cannot use it and blame class for being OP'ed. You cannot explain that! At all.

@IsaiahtheMage Just because your class not is OP anymore, stop complaining about that every other class is... TLM got balanced, and now BM's stand a chance against you TLM's. They are not OP, as if they were I would not get as many losses as I get as BM... As it is not it is quite a balanced class. Yet boring due the only working class is basically STR.

As for your equipment. A BM without a staff cannot use Fireball either. CHANGE IT ASAP!!! -.-

@Trans Well I wasn't a STR TLM then so I never got a chance to use Maul when it was around. But yeah it could probably 2 hit K.O Maul + DS before it was nerfed might have worked a while ago.

If I get a club then I'm dead to TMs and BMs that spam tech because no Club is good for tech and dex.

It's funny how I as Support TM with Malf and DA (you can find build in BS Forum) can stand a chance against BMs with 24-29 Def and Res and E Armor. What I do? Use Lvl 1 Assimilate to kinda make them not use one of their skills as they usually match their Energy stat to total Energy required for their strategy. Lvl 1 Assimilate = 3 Energy + can miss and needs a Staff. Lvl 1 Atom = significantly more Energy with any build and more as you have more Str and needs a Maul. Tough.

This class has a difficult ability to play passive, and for patient players, BM can be broken apart with shielding, boosters and energy strip. Strength and first turn are the BM best attributes. It is a difficult class to play passively, but for people who enjoy challenge in molding a class that is based on going forward, it will be a joy.

Ooooh right, you have a passive armor, energy regain and a skill that regain some hp. Nah, your totally not balanced. Not to mention the ability to create a very good tank (due the passive armor) and a skill that take DoT.

And if you just would be patient and wait are "your useless skill" getting a buff.

@Oba Yeah a skill that regains HP that is always blocked by CHs. And is useless against BMs since they have a passive skill that regains HP and do massive damage so they gain a lot of HP. Besides CHs have passive armor,energy regain, and malf. Which is a OP combo. Aside from that wait.... they have massacre to and multi-shot to do even more damage with malf. Remove their malf and everything might be fine. Yeah and a skill that is DoT but it can't kill! :D

What do you mean? FC already got a buff.

I never said anything about that CH isnt OP, as they are. I discussed about TLM and BM. As they are two quite equal and balanced classes.

Have FC already got the buff? Have intimidate got the buff aswell then? I seriously dont know, as I have been abit inactive for a while. Only been doing a few battles to earn tokens, havent paid attention to the other stuff..

Do note Isaiah... A wise Mod on the MechQuest Balance board once told me, This game is not ' One Build to Rule them all '

Same thing applies to EpicDuel... Your 1 Single build is not ment to defeat every build in existance

FC will get a revamp. Waiting won't kill you, after 8 months of OP'ness it's fine to wait.

@andy123 I know that. But the fact remains is that you should not have to retrain every match in order to defeat each of these different builds. Its unfair that you should have to retrain in order to beat STR BM,Tech BM,Tech build TM, and SC build TM. You can not use one or 2 to handle them all. A high tech build might be able to counter Tech BM,tech TM, and maybe SC build TM. But you will get pwned by STR BM and any other class with good physical attacks. A nice balanced build wont work only spam builds work now. And its screwing up balance.

The game was just as this for a very long time during the phase while TLM ruled ED. To be able to beat the spamming/tank TLM's, could easily other classes beat you like BH etc.

My Support TM struggles with CHs, Str BHs, some TLMs (Poison a bit), and some BMs due to different strategies. I can counter them but not always as my skills might not be good enough. Wait, that's a weakness! These classes are OP! Nerf ALL the classes!
Seriously no. You can't beat everyone with same build, each has weakness if it's balanced. Time to get over it if you could win almost all the tim during your Era, it's over so stop going on how weak you are and get other build.

Well then no wonder runners is created. You join a certain battle you can probably win join another instant K.O so you might aswell leave and not waste time. I just hope they nerf all of them because my builds can't beat them anymore. Balance builds aren't effective now since everyone uses spam builds and they are very effective and OP. I wish I could get a good win % with a balanced build. Now I can't since they hurt us TLMs. If they don't nerf these OP stat abusers soon I'm gonna quit or change class because TLM is at the bottom right now.
