I have one build in mind I wanna try after TM and BM nerfs.. :D Dex SC will still work but I have other in mind which might do poorly currently with power builds that kills us all but after the change, it might be quite decent. :D
Simply Assimilation build but slightly tweaked to my liking. xD

BM really does need a strength nerf. This is coming from someone who has a bm character. However they do need to give us more build options. Right now our options are pretty much strength, or high tech max plasma cannon, max plasma rain. Which some people seem to forget is a viable option. I guess because hardly anyone uses it, but it is POWERFULL!

And now I'm curious, I noticed that with the latest update had added a mission that gives a fairly low level varium maul.
Do you think they might add a low(-ish) level varium staff and blades to that soon? :3

Yeah, this is the issue we must raise. I believe Armor Hazard is barely beatable now with CHs only, CH and TLM can work but much harder if possible with any other class. :/

I'd fail to see it become OPed as it's basically Support build with higher Assimilate (I want it modified so you know) and I've been using low Assimilate before anyway whilst having okay ratio of wins. Only difference will be probably better use of Assimilate or I'll alter it for Str-Tank instead but we'll see. :P

Update on the TM caster balance:

This needed to be a very targeted nerf to those specifically stacking a lot of Tech and using Plasma Bolt + Plasma Rain to deal large amounts of damage very quickly. So instead of tweaking the numbers, which would affect all TMs, we swapped the scaling on Plasma Rain and Supercharge. This would still allow a "pure caster" build of Technology for high damage, but the damage will be dealt slower and require more energy, allowing for some counterplay between spell salvos. You can also have a Dex utility build of Overload + Plasma Rain, but the damage will be lower. In both cases there are stat requirements on one of the skills that prevent you from putting everything into a single stat and going crazy.

In short, the changes are:
* Plasma Rain now scales with Dexterity instead of Technology
* Supercharge now scales with Technology and requires Dexterity

Might slow em down a bit, but unless the dexterity reqirement on supercharge is high the damage will now allow them to regain health... Plasma cannon supercharge builds on Bloodmages?

Damn.. If I had P Armor, I could still use my SC build but obviously can't now.. Might try and look for one but may be tough. Heads up, I can go back to my Support build as well so don't mind or test 2v2 build consisting of moderate Support, high Dex, E Armor, decent Heal, HP, Reroute, etc. Let's see how it will work after it's live as my SC build won't work anymore for obvious reasons unless I suffer from much lower Defence.

Rabble, any news on BM changes this week or are they pushed back?

Also Tech SC, I think it'll be even worse. Abuse Tech, high HP and EP, Reroute, Plasma Bolt and SC..

If I change this build with 1 less Defence Matrix and train 1 supercharge how do the changes effect the build?

Mage Build

Not much and the dex requirement will not even effect it! With max technician it does 103 damage with a level 1 plasma bolt fo a cost of 11 energy (31 including technician)
