My thought exactly Goony.. Lvl 1 SC may be quite strong at just Lvl 1, probably somewhere near up to 60-66 damage with your current Tech and even more with Technican.. It's overkill as I do 69-77 at Lvl 8 SC now with 97 Dex so problem might arise because you'll obviously get Energy back easily due to HP and Reroute whilst dishing out SC and Plasma Bolt - not as strong with Lvl 1 but still - and tanking all the time with the Defences you currently have. :|

Goony that build looks severly OP to me.

44-53 resistance. I'm expecting a 95% win ratio with that. Defense Matrix, technician, plasma bolt, supercharge, plasma rain, plasma bolt = win.

EDIT: I suggest taking some points out of TECH (too OP right, now, your safe even if you take away like 20 points) and add it into EP. Your damage will only go down by like 4 damage, and you have much more EP to work with now, so Plasma Bolt a couple times would be deadly.

Seriously, not making the tech mage caster skills have a strength requirement is some kid of bad joke.

Change requirement on Reroute to Support and Str requirement instead of Dex on SC, solves abuse of Tech build in every possible way. If nothing will be done, welcome abuse as I just need a P Armor (got Varium ready for it) and I can abuse Caster build from today onwards and if it gets nerfed, move back to Support or do 2v2 build which isn't OP. If nothing will be done, I lost all hope in how balance works.

So which is gonna end up more powerful point-4-point ? Super Charge or Plasma Rain? I understand Super Charge does more damage per level, but costs significantly more energy.
There are requirements coming, but not sure what yet, so no need to start panicking at all the possible OP TM/BM builds that could arrive if this is handled badly.

I tought this was going to be the best update ever when i only knew about the CS5.5 thing, now that we also have new npcs, 10 new missions, new (area) screens, balance changes, ...

Got my new build ready

With a level 1 technician that gives a 41 technology buff and 90 energy I should have the best of both worlds to explore the new maps ;)

guys If i had to wager I would say somewhere in the minetower the image looks like they are in a cavern and the DN said something about miner bots. Maybe a tunnel from the biodome to the minetower but it looks like a long trip

and the bio orchids do somewhat give away that it's in the biodome. the stalachmites (or whatever they're called in english) are curious though

Hi EpicDuelists,

I have an important message to tell you guys before the release. Due to new Flash CS5.5 changes, the new promotional packages are unable to make it into the game this week. Testing has been going on in the core game for about 2 days now, as we had to re-test the entire game from scratch. Having it put in the game now would take way to long to work out and test, along with the other things that need fixing and testing. If you were planning to get the new mid-level promotional, we recommend you wait till next week when they are released. I know this is disappointing, but the good thing about updating to CS5.5 is the ability to make something new is virtually endless.
