PivotalDisorder -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/14/2012 18:41:03)

also puts hair on your palms I heard ^^

my main reason for supporting is the community need more incentives to keep playing. I've been here since March 2011 and I
have got the daily achievement [1v1] just once. if I don't grind for 16hrs+ to get it then I don't deserve it, I fully except that but
no need for the only PVP achievements to require that many hours of playing. casual players support ED too don't forget.

If anyone has an issue with how these forums are moderated, feel free to PM an AK or Lord Barrius himself. Derailing this thread is not the solution and does nothing to address the problem.

Not supported. This would make getting daily achievements ridiculously easy to get. Also, it would be unfair for players who already have them.

@Rej: feel free to go back and read through the posts :) I think it safe to say no one really wants to get rid of the original daily achievement.

MrBones -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/15/2012 9:15:21)

I still think we shouldn't have double standards.

There is one daily per day. (It's called a daily after all for a reasons. There is 1 day in a day, not 2). I am strongly against lowering the bar for under achievers to get a pity price.

Mr. Black OP -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/15/2012 10:32:04)

^
In a day there is DAY and night, in another hemisphere our night is their day so you can say there are 2 days in a day, but if you don't count that then there is one day in a day but there is also a night too.

^ true true :D

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/15/2012 12:42:10)

@MrBones: so the 12hr wouldn't be called daily....problem solved. lol

ScarletReaper -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/15/2012 12:53:59)

Call it the halfway achievement. lol Description....Have too much of a life to play for 20 hours, so I settled for this one.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/15/2012 13:54:34)

"Came to play 24/7, barely lasted 12/1"

Stabilis -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/15/2012 14:14:58)

I don't see what's wrong with daily achievements unless someone is mad that others won them when there was less competition earlier on. Everybody needs to sleep eat and hopefully bathe. That's called being in the right place at the right time (such as when VIX's crew goes on vacation). No making jokes about the stuff in brackets! That's your problem not mine. 'U'

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/15/2012 15:17:08)

those players who support the 12hr achievement for the reason of the 24hr taking too much time are no worse off if the 24hr
achievement remains, and those who got the 24hr achievement are no worse off if a new 12hr achievement is added.

not sure why people keep posting about losing the achievement or it being unfair, we moved past that on page 2 :P

King FrostLich -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/15/2012 15:40:28)

Well guess what, I wanted get the juggernaut achievement today. But guess what? Some player spends more than 14 hours than me.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/15/2012 15:56:27)

Juggernaut is like that every day, with 90%+ win rate being maintained by most of them, it is basically the most profitable game mode.
1v1 is much faster but the opposition is much stronger and theirs so many Hunters [CH and BH] that it's just monotonous.

@ PivotalDisorder; Feel free to go back and read the title of the topic, which openly suggests that the idea is reduce the time between each daily achievement.

friend18 -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/16/2012 2:42:10)

I would support this. I think it would make it possible for more people to receive the achievement. I slept for 8 hours today thinking I'd be able to get first on the solo leader board... Then, I find out that someone had stayed on the ENTIRE time. Literally the entire time, to get the achievement (she ended up with around 800 wins... People wouldn't have to stay up all of the time to get the achievement.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/16/2012 11:10:47)

@Rej: Like I said, we moved past that on page 2, but people wanna post on an idea before they have even seen how that idea has progressed, by actually reading the topic.
it's 1 step forward and 10 steps back every time someone RESTARTS the debate about reducing the 24hr achievement to 12hr. it won't happen and we all know it won't
happen so why keep going back to it when their is already a far better idea suggested on page 1, 2, 3 and 4. plus the idea doesn't negatively effect anyone i.e isn't unfair.

Stabilis -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/16/2012 11:27:20)

To add onto the 12 hour achievement, what if one could own a maximum of 2 identical 12 hour achievements or 1 24 hour achievement, and be given the option to combine the 2 12 achievements to equal 1 24 hour achievement? They would be equal to half of the rating of the 24 hour achievement.

PivotalDisorder -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/16/2012 11:37:19)

I like the idea of 2 achievements for the 12hrs, day and night with a 3rd for the 24hr but the merging idea will just get flamed for the same reason
the reducing time idea got flamed. people who earned that achievement did it legitimately and that should be 100% true for everyone who has it.

Killer666 -> RE: Reducing the time of dailies and the war. (5/16/2012 22:31:10)

I have seen many low levels win the achevments. =) Im lucky i got the 1v1 one, back when 200-300 wins would get you the win easy.
