I believe it is referencing to the Power Tags each monster has. An example is Absolix, you can see the level 140 version has 3.75 power. I believe that's what MonsterPwr is referencing. ~whacky

jwang059 -> RE: Weapons (7/16/2012 7:05:04)

I noticed the 5th hit of the Overload's Ascendancy's special when wearing the full set no longer deals collosal damage, is this intended?

if so, what's the full set effect then?

Xrai -> RE: Weapons (7/16/2012 7:22:55)

@above: The full set bonus of the Overlord's Ascendancy is the ability to do 5th hit, as for the collosal damage it dealt previously, it's obviously a bug, if not it's overpowered.

Doesn't the Liquifactor special do Melee, Magic, Magic? I mean, it flies at them once, then does two attacks from the portal. I can't, like, show any proof, but I'm pretty positive that got mixed up. >.>

You are correct. Thank you. ~B

Qavex -> RE: Weapons (7/16/2012 9:59:36)

Adding on to Alfy's post about the Forgotten totems:
The chance for fear to prevent the monster's attack is (50*monster's darkness modifier[as a decimal])%. Nevermind, Alfy has this.

There also appear to be 2 specials: a spiral and a skull. I believe the rates and the damage percents are the same as the Twilight armor series.
quote:

Original: Black Aces
One attack that deals 85% damage 70% of the time. And a second attack that deals 135% damage 30% of the time.

I believe it also gets +2BtH and *85/87, same as the other Twilight items. Not sure if there is a damage penalty for the effect or not.

@Below: I don't see the info subs for the Forgotten Totems yet. Are they up? Yes, my wording for the accuracy was wierd. Fixed that.

Xrai -> RE: Weapons (7/16/2012 12:16:46)

@above: The info. sub. of Twilight weapons already stated they receive +2 BtH with approproiate attack modifier which is *85/87. And since when Liquefactor receive +2 BtH? The first post of this page clearly says it's -2 BtH with *85/83 damage.

Totems
"Forgotten's Grim Totem" / "Forgotten's Intimidating Totem" / "Forgotten's Ghastly Totem"
Description: “This grisly totem is fashioned from the bones of the dead, a symbol of the power the Forgotten wield. Its dark power enhances Darkness spells, granting them the added ability to strike fear in your enemies' hearts!”
Dark Magic weapon
Functions like a wand, so does 90% of listed damage.
Mastercrafted item
Grants darkness spells a chance to cast Afraid status.
Has 2 attacks. Both are single hit. First attack deals normal damage while the second attack deals 1.5 damage. The second attack is considered a special with a 20% chance of occurring. Both of these get +4 Bth with a *85/89 modifier.

Chance of Afraid infliction is 1.21*(HitsConnected/HitsAttempted) for 2 turns. Stun, chance of not acting, is DarknessResistance/2. INT vs CHA, LUK vs. LUK

*The dark energies of your spell resonate with those of your «WeaponName», filling the enemy with Fear!"
**Your spell's dark nature is frightening, but your foe stands strong!"
***Creatures of Darkness are immune to the frightening energy from the «WeaponName».
****This foe is Fearless!

No. They are still available in Ballyhoo's reward shop, same as Dragon Leathers, Daisashini and all other promo items.

I understand what you mean though, since only people who have had the item beforehand can upgrade the weapons if they wish, while to the others who missed this offer it's pretty much rare. I'll check around.

Update: Yup, Rare tags will not be added. The items are after all still available somewhere in the game, so it's considered available. ~whacky
