To discuss card combinations for certain characters and their types, and to also discuss how cards work. When it is released, card customization will also be discussed here.

Oooh good point people could get a free 5 damage by slapping in a 5/4 Neutral Attack. :D Not sure if it'll be possible though, there will likely be a set of restrictions on what cards can be chosen.

I believe it was thejop who said Nulgath said to him that you would only be able to use cards already in that character's deck, so each character would have a pool of cards and you'd just be dictating the quantities. I can't exactly get a quote or anything on that, but be ready for that possibility.

Just as a matter of logistics too I'd much rather that characters couldn't be outfitted with any cards from any element. It would discourage people from finding, leveling, and battling with multiple characters by rendering them skins with the same deck as anything else. Decks would go from flavorful to whatever the optimal melange of cards would be, PvP would grow dull with lack of dynamic strategies, and with the loss of the major incentives to play, the dullness would metastasize everywhere and that would be terrible.

At the level cap all Sacrifices is an auto-loss to 1 Ice Wall/Stone Wall. :F

After using 10 Sacrifices it's impossible to do another 13 damage without killing yourself.

But you can still attack before your opponent even does anything.

Wait wait sorry nevermind you'd still have 1 HP left, but Ice Wall/Stone Wall and a 1-Attack would do it, and your opponent could charge the 7 energy needed even if they lost the initiative. If your opponent has under 5 HP and you have under 4 and you use Sacrifice you lose. Ice Wall/Stone Wall + Sacrifice could kill an all-Sacrifice build too. xP

Freeze + Shatter deals with that, they Freeze two turns after Shatter and there's no way to use Iron Hide in time to block Shatter.

Pehenix is right when he said that will be limits to what you can do. It was said that you can only add nuteral cards, and you cannot alter the current cards I think, which is why more space is involved in later card decks. So adding Ice Wall after Ice Wall is out of the question. Noone stopping Iron Walls and Counterattack's mind, and with all Nutural chars like Rex Grunt... Well I'm gonna be hitting things like a truck.

I am looking forward to trying the following 5 cards if they will allow it. 2 Storms, 1 Energize and 1 Unblockable. Charge up to five charges and you have a constant 10 damage a turn. Doesn't sound like much but it would add up over time....

sometimes we make an EFFORT of finding and replacing out our cards to make it 5 combo (to make it cooler, and stronger haha)
maybe each CHARACTER has an effect when they use 5 hit combo example:
-Poison Drake uses 5 hit combo adds 3 damage for 2 turns because he use 5 hit combo
-Ninja uses 5 hit combo cards adds 3 bleeding damage for 2 turns because he use 5 hit combo

-earth nomad uses 5 hit combo gain +5 in he's element


well this is my idea because.. we make effort of finding 5 hit combo
so bad. some characters have alot of offence cards that always 5 hit combo xD

nice idea, i like the idea of passives for each char so they will be different even when we can customize the decks

There should be a minimum (Like 10) amount of cards you're required to have in your deck.

If not, Energy character will have looping decks. 5 card deck. Energize, Storm, Surge, 5 Damage, 5 Damage.

-First turn, energize;discard 5 damage. Use other 5 + Surge damage. You'll end up with 13 energy without charging after drawing same cards (5-4=1+1TurnCharge+10Energize+1Draw). Opponents down 8 HP.

-Second turn (After draw), energize;discard 5 damage. Use storm, and surge + 5 damage. You'll end up again with 14 energy after drawing. (13-7-4=2+1Turn+1Draw+10Energize) Opponents down 18HP. Total: 26 damage before opponent charges to 14 charge.

-Loop the same hand every turn like the second turn one. 18 Damage per turn without charge.

Nulgath has mentioned awhile back that they were limited to only adding cards to a deck so you can't just have 5 cards that you could spam infinitely without charging.

@Above: Really? I remember it being said in the Beta Release Thread that Nulgath said we were limited to only taking away cards from our decks, only changing the quantity. The Finnish Pheonix also hinted to this in a earlier post in this thread.
However, I may be wrong.

Unless Nulgath posted recently saying he found a way to reduce the strain, it's very likely this is still the plan
