I know you guys are very agitated with the way Omega works, but maybe you just need to get used to it. As many of you said, Omega is basically a new game, a whole new PvP system in EpicDuel. I have experienced sooo many builds the past few days, have spent more than 30,000 credits just retraining and changing my weapons' layouts. There's fixes to be made, and the developers know it better than you do, but they have to think for the whole player base, not just 15 people raging about strength based mercenaries. I've tried Strength Mercenary myself, and I didn't like it, but I only used it to test which builds would beat me, and I have to say, there were many. For one, there's my current build, a 5-focus tank Mercenary, or a high HP/support based Tech Mage. My point is that with hard testing and good usage of the Battle Strategy forums, everyone can find themselves a good build to suit themselves. I'm lucky to have played all phases of EpicDuel, and while great, Alpha/Beta was very unbalanced. There were very few restrictions, more stats and everyone could spam one skill and go berserk with it. There were also many more bugs, and NO MODERATORS to test and help fix them! There wasn't much complaining back then because EpicDuel was a new game, there were fewer players and even fewer people registered in the official EpicDuel forums. That made it harder for those phases to get the right balance updates, and also, there was fewer developers during those times. Now we have more staff, less bugs and many ways to get around unbalanced skills/classes/builds because of the new battle system. When this thread was made, it was a privilege for us to help Titan/Rabble/Nightwraith/Charfade on making EpicDuel better and better by listening to constructive feedback/criticism so that everyone could get their fair share of happiness. This is a PvP game and there will always be complaing, but keeping it clean and respectful is in your hands.
