Since the very first time I bought the bot, I've seen NOT even once the Special getting activated, therefore it being rather useless...

Here, I propose a few possible ways to have it work:

1. Let it work not just Strikes but all Melee attacks.

Or else,

2. Remove the limit about using it once per battle.

Or else,

3. Increast Color Blasts's damage

4. Let it last through the whole battle while adding a 3 turn warmup

5. Automatically activates when your opponent skips a turn

6. Works with all skill cores that's related to your primary weapon

Edit 2:

7. Forces your opponent to strike on the first turn used. Effect still applies when opponent strikes within the next 2 rounds. ( Ensures it activates at least once)

I'd probably just say increase the initial damage by 10-20%, because increasing it to all melee attacks is far too much.

I vote for increasing it's effect to all melee damage or make it do 100% dmg.

You got to use the right timing with the bot. Of course you won't see the special used if you use it on them while they are loaded with moves other then strike. However making the bot work with all melee attacks would be overkill.

^But the situations where it would be useful are very rare.

There are so many cores, skills, weapons you can use instead of strike these days.

Atleast make it do 100% damage.

I actually found this bot very useful in 2 vs 2. Especially if my partner has a yeti to combo with it.

As for making this bot do 100% damage if it was a pure damage bot I would say what the hey why not, however this bot is an effect bot which is used for it's effect with the damage being a bonus so I couldn't agree with that one.

This effect is more useless then having a 13dmg wep equipped as a 35.
Why?

Because even skipping your turn is a perfect counter for this robot.
I got one word for this core: Useless

Atleast make it stack with azreals will..
The core is now useless as can be in 1vs1 and jugg

Then make it do 90% damage.
or make it more useful.

It is VERY situational.

Or force the opponent to using strike(and taking the missile attack) like the Azrael Gun.

I find Color Blast very useful.

It's a great finisher since it's unblockable and I haven't seen it be deflected.

Me too. I like the skill. Just use it at the end of battle and boom, you mostly win.

It also saved me once since someone didn't have anything except strike (me at like 11 hp) and he got hit by 11-12, he had 11 health and I auxed him for a win.

85%-90% damage, only works on Strikes.

Edit: You can always skip your 3rd turn (Let the time run out) if you have nothing to use other than Strike...Plus usually there's a Gun or an active core to use...

Color blast is actually more useful at the lower levels then it is at the higher ones. People actually have to use strike more and that is where I get them with it.

It wouldnt be overkill if it worked on all meele IMO. You could counter it by:
1. Gun.
2. Aux.
3. Meteor core.
4. Robot.

So yeah they could make it to work on all meele :D

I support 1. taking effect on all melee attacks and 3. increase its damage but i think it should be only used once per battle.

I find it very unfair that even if a target has nothing left but strike, they can skip. Anything is better than hitting yourself while dealing no damage, so really, the core is useless.

@ndb Either way you aren't getting hit that turn so does it matter? You'd only miss out on several damage if they just skipped the turn.

Hey, the color blast special damage is 85% and is unblockable and undeflectable! The egg rain effect is 100% of strike damage, it cannot be blocked and can critical!

The robot is as you say situational and may cause people to just time out if they have no other attacks, but this can be used to advantage dependent on your opponents builds and would be best used against a strength player late in the game. Making it occur on all melee attacks is out of the question as the bio bot thorns special reflects 50% of melee damage and a bot that reflected 100% would make the bio bot obsolete!

The bot's special is a finisher to long fights in my book. When there is no energy left to be used and they have done used their aux you do the special and limit their potential moves. If they skip it is like stunning them if they strike it is like hitting them three times in a row.

Both of those I would call a win. Personally if I grow tired of a fight and I have color blast on me I will give a one liner and strike to kill myself

I think strike, any of the primary's active cores and deliberately missing your turn should all trigger the it.

By the way, as a reminder, I don't think Color Blast is created for its unblockability or such; it should be used for its Core ability. But yea, in theory, but IMO having it close to theory should be a goal when balancing...

why not make it so that the opponent cannot skip their turn while being affected by color blast, and will auto-strike and harm themselves if the timer runs out?
