acutally the bot doesnt hit the ammount of dmg is written on my stats page. there is a bug during the battle, the bot deals MORE dmg then before.

I hitted 61 dmg on a lv1 City guard with a 16-20+17+20 bot.
So as of wiki, city guard has 1-2 def, my raw dmg is 62-63 dmg, which is obviously different to my bot dmg(53-57)

my bot should deal 16-20+18+20 that means 54-58 dmg, but i tried it multiple times on my alts and this calculation is wrong, my bot deals 7/8 dmg points more than my gun that whit DA should be
10-12+35+9 = 54-56

Yep, still not fixed. My Botanical Hazard just did 52 damage on City Guard (Lvl 1) with 1-2 Defence, whilst my damage is 14-18 +17 +16 -> 47-51, so the highest I could get is 50 damage.

I don't find much comfort in the fact that titan dismissed it as a visual bug without actually checking, it seems. If he has, he certainly hasn't told us, so we're sitting here with no information and a buggy iteration of the update.

The change did nothing so far since Focus 5 + bumped base damage by +3 has given only -2 less damage, which makes very little difference. <.<

yes , focus bonus is 5 and all bots got a 3 dmg buff, thats a rlly little nerf, i still dont agree tht my bot should hit less than my aux, but i think the nerf should be like 4 dmg, not 2 or 7
ed team? .... there is a big annoing bug, r u gonna give us info or r u sleeping already?

It should stay at +4 per focus and +3 to bot damage, but 6 focus should be added.

Could we do +4.5 to focus, no bot dmg increase? Or a scaling decrease*?

EX: 1 focus: +7
2 focus: +13
3 focus: +18
4 focus: +22
5 focus: +25
6 focus: +27

No, 4 focus with +3 bot dmg is fine.

Focus damage should be ((lowestStat-20)/5)*4) instead of being forced to go by 5. This ends up with the same scaling for focus, but allows you to go in between instead of it just being a +4 jump every time.

The simpler version of the formula is (lowestStat-20)*0.8
*0.8 does the same thing as x/5*4

So we go from 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24

But then, at level 35, you could get...

(136 stats)
(136 / 4 = 34)
(34*.8 = 27.2)

With the +3 bot damage, that would be the same as old focus, just mroe tanky and annoying.

Helios: You did something wrong. This ends up with focus scaling being identical to the new +4 system.

Helios, first of all you can get well above 34 as your lowest stat. Second of all, its lowestStat-20, not just lowestStat.
To achieve 27 bot damage you would need 54 in every stat, which is going to gimp your HP as well as limit your ability to spam a stat for skills like plasma bolt and bunker buster.

Now, you actually have to think about bot damage vs skill damage vs attack damage instead of just getting 45/45/70+/45 as your setup.

Now that i looked at it, it seemed like an overkill nerf..
I just did 50 dmg on lv1 City Guard...
My Bot does 16-20+17+20 dmg
It will do a little more than aux dmg on a high tech support build on a opponent with average defenses (26-32+5)

Bots scale slower than Auxes and Support. Aux will surpass the Bot after certain amount of Support. Likewise with Str + Primary/Gun. At Focus 4-5 build, these will be equal but on certain leans - if you go for high Support then Aux will be stronger & higher Tech will give you stronger Bot damage.

It's quite interesting how Poison scales down or up, depending on the number. I get 47-51, and Poison would deal 7.05-7.65 damage per turn (IIRC, it takes the lowest/base damage) so I deal 7 damage on Poison, instead of usual rounding up to 8.

Auxes have higher scaling, better specials, scale with the crit stat, and can be used alongside a bot. I don't see what the problem is.
Why should bots be stronger than rocket launchers? Just because they're newer?
