There are many methods of collaboration. Thus far, folks have used one of the 'standard' methods. Micosil and I are using an alternative method that lets us have more freedom with HOW we write thing while utilizing agreed upon common elements, positioning, etc. It also will result in separate posts, another plus side given my current lack of access due to visiting my father for his birthday and such. Beware, the posts may look rather different, despite the common actions contained within! WE'll have fun with them though, to be sure. *grins ferally* Edit: @Legendium - I assume by "the man in the corner" that you mean me, given our earlier OOC comments, though technically that's...slightly off position. That's no matter, it happens way too easily to try and keep every position accurate, and even I've screwed that up in the past. If anything, I wish you had added further indicators than just position of who you meant by approaching with the offer of alliance on the IC presentation. I mean to do most of my post craft tonight, and just check with Micosil on certain wordings to make sure we keep our agreed Collaborative core actions in-sync tomorrow. Just let me know that the assumption is indeed correct, because for right now, that's what I'm working on given current evidence unless told otherwise. Why post about this? Because! Your offer...screws slightly with some arranged timing, but nothing I can't work around I don't think. Meoden's spell-effects would've been an immediate movement trigger for Kieran: it's flashy, it's one of the 'larger' effects so far, and he'd find it incredibly wasteful. Kieran was setup to look for exactly those sorts of insights at the end of my post in order to come to a decision to act upon. (See the quoted section below for that portion of the post.) But there were two opponents he wanted insight on, you say? I also had talked with Micosil about collaboration efforts before your post was up that accounts for the other half. Eyra reaching him implies not moving until she reaches him after that entire affair, or at best at least partially concurrent. So...timing issues. I think I can get around that by burning a bit more magical reservoir, and still make the setup points for the collaboration action plot-points Micosil and I already reached on IRC earlier today. Maybe consider a reason why he might have hesitated, too. (And you thought planning posts was simple. Hah! Enjoy a glimpse into my mind...) quote:
Observing exactly what sort of welcome the Water warrior recieved at the end of the charge would grant him a few insights, perhaps. And, more importantly, decide which would wind up being his first target after all.
