If Meoden was to get hit by one of the metal balls, how much damage would be dealt?

Meoden wears heavy armor, so I'm expecting that it will just knock him down.

As for the projectiles...He has a nice plan with those.

I think if you wear heavy armor, then nothing will happen. The balls would probably reflect away and continue flying around.

We need to talk if our characters will run into each other. And what could, might happen since we would be so close together

I shall ask, though I suspect I know the answer already. EtD, are those bolts in any way aimed at a specific location on Kieran's person given his position and stance at the end of my post? Or just aimed in the sense of Meoden is charging and is trying just to hit Kieran, period?

I have everything I need to make my post.... except time. I have a class tomorrow morning, and by the time I get back and finish up the post, it'll be about one or two hours before my deadline. Cutting it a little close for my taste, but it has to be done. Is'ira isn't going to idle die anytime soon!

Awaiting a PM response from Tdub that seeks a...clarification of reasoning, mostly. I'm already assuming a small typo present should be ignored in favor of the original intent, and I'm chalking that up to Tdub having to rush the post more than preferable given unfortunate school timing and the deadline. (Namely that the first shot was still to the intended target of his right shin and Is'ira's *hand* is what streamed to the left to make the second shot rather than the shot itself.)

I kinda thought KJ would be closer to the other pillar, but I can go with this map. I just don't like how we're all kinda clumped together

Oh, and Tdub: do not underestimate Eyra. She understands perfectly well that wind is a fickle friend at best. She has her gaurd up, but hopefully Is'ira won't be around long enough to see it put to use.

I'm not underestimating Eyra. Is'ira is questioning her choices in allies. There's a difference.

Okay, I know Xax hasn't posted yet, but I couldn't wait. Posting!

And I know Legend only just posted, but given that I'm attacking the same target, I needed to poke him to make sure he wasn't going to change his plans and take a free potshot at Gabriel. Basically what happened is Erya started to attack, Gabriel interfered and attacked, and (with much grumbling) Erya restructured her attack.

Meoden's armor is probably not going to break unless it's made of gold all the way through. Meoden, however, is probably less tough than his armor. Gabriel will also get injured if this lands well, although she intends to drop her weight back to normal and roll out of there as soon as either he gets out of the way or she hits him properly, to minimize damages. I hope this doesn't stress your suspension of disbelief too much. If it does, let me know.

Also, Gabriel is losing control of her temper. What happens when an Angelborn flips out? Maybe we'll find out in the next installment of the 2013 Cellar!

No offensive actions made. I have not updated Jerenda's map with my new position just to make it easier to reference how I moved. Just working on a massive movement of a disengage.

E: I did make sure to attempt to vet EVERY possible angle, either by discussing here in the OOC thread, directly PMing those involved, or even catching Ryu on IRC to ensure the usage of the mirrors was valid. Logs and PM copies are available at request.

Let's see:

it seems like the ball of lightning picked up on Meoden's ill-will and started shooting at him and continued to shoot at Gabriel. And as KJ is running around the pillar, some of the bolts probably get absorbed by the pillar, otherwise, if you stay still for any amount of time, you will probably get shocked.

And with Gabriel's attention turning away from KJ, it's probable it stopped shooting at her. But it's not my call, I don't know her mental state.

So Meoden has a few bolts incoming? Anyone else, or just him? (If Gabriel takes Meoden to the ground, she will probably get hit by one of the bolts aimed at Meoden. This makes sense to me.) Gabriel is currently wary of KJ and will respond to attacks but all her fire is currently directed at Meoden and Eyra. With that knowledge, does Gabriel have any lightning directed at her specifically, or does she just need to deal with stuff she may have accidentally saved Meoden from?

I think you only have to deal with the bolts at Meoden, unless you change your mind and want to attack KJ again

Can someone explain the details of the pile of rubble in Micosil's post? Specifically, which direction is it coming from and how much will it affect Is'ira?

Its the redirected rubble that Meoden originally utilized and then Gabriel promptly hijacked to send a swath right on back through the grand mess of a melee. Getting out of its way was one of the slight and unexpected fringe benefits of the much more important disengage Kieran performed.

I'm expecting the rocks to hit now-ish. My next post will deal with rock-dodging, among other issues. I believe at the moment Gabriel, Eyra, Meoden, and Is'ira are all potentially in the way of the rockslide. I'm not sure if Scylla still is - I think she decided to stay within range and chance getting hit to keep her enemies within range as well.

Visibility is probably still a little compromised due to the shroud of rocks that Meoden so kindly raised just outside of our little melee, but I think we should have a couple moments as the rocks clear the shroud and close in. It's not exactly an aimed attack - it could hit anyone who gets too close. It will also rebound off the mirrors, most likely as soon as it clears the last competitor, assuming there is anything left to rebound at that point.

I'm working on my post now. It's going to look an awful lot like Meoden's attack for someone who hasn't been paying attention. Just to make sure, some of the rocks may be a little sharp, correct? I'm planning on an un-graceful dodge of the main rubble, but a sharp rock could mean trouble.
