You guys are just crushing the AI's spirits with those negative points xD

Also, hi people! We've decided that the next Forum Tournament element will be EARTH. We're hoping to start sign ups in the next week, and start the tournament some time around when the Earth CC packs are coming back (in 2 weeks). So if you'd like to participate (and we highly encourage you to do so!), start training up those Earth characters!
Let's do this! :D

DeathGuard -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:22:55)

^ I don't need to train, Stone Assassin is ready to kill off the other guys around :3

Axel459 -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:23:50)

So 7350 is the max dmg that can be done in one turn

@Beck Yay, Earth now I have to decide which of my the two high lvled Earth characters I want to use.
Inb4 everyone uses Taurus.

@Hiduke Trying to get those cards at the right time would be really tedious

DeathGuard -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:25:26)

@Axel: I don't use Taurus >.<

Hiduke -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:27:29)

@Axel true

l but the Dot damage still a possibility. That can be added it would increase a new world of possibilities.
you can only have 5 other cards added to you deck and if you already have 4 shatters like the queen of ice
you can get retribution
2 mountain strike
2 mark of death and boom
you have

1.8k+4k+2k+1.5k=6k+3.3k=9.3k damage.

Beck -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:29:25)

@Axel
Yeah, I think Taurus is the most powerful Earth character (just cus he has 2 Petrifys), but it'd be reaaaaaally lame if everyone used him.

Besides, there are plenty of other good characters that will give the old cow a run for his horns xD

clintonian -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:30:16)

hmm earth tourney eeh my trapper is ready,but man everyone is gonna use taurus gonna be hard[&:]

The Finnish Phoenix -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:30:19)

The highest overkill possible is over 11000. It would have to involve a bit of bug abuse though, although since most of the time when going for overkill screenies people wait for opponents with Energize to glitch out anyway it would pretty much go with the territory. I'm not advocating doing this, which is why I'll just explain it from a purely hypothetical and theoretical standpoint.

Say if you were to Level Vampire Lord to 20, and then you possess a Shadow Squire and then Level it to 4 and rank it to another Vampire Lord. Then you will have two VL's, one at Level 20 and the other at Level 1. After that, if you fight with the Level 1, your character and opposing PvE characters will display 1500 HP as Level 1's have, but your PvE opponent won't die until -3800 HP, and after the fight you will have your higher levelled VL equipped, and your level 1 VL will be bugged and not be able to gain XP, it will remain at level 1 forever. This bug doesn't benefit you in any way other than for overkill bragging rights.

So to have the highest overkill possible, you would need to Level an evolution to 20, evolve to that form again after levelling to 20, and then fight with your new level 1 version. This would work best with an Ice character with good defense and Ice Orb, like Master Barbarian. CC Chain Lightning, Meteorite, Power Flow, Death Flow, and Ice Orb. Then, find a Lightning opponent with Energize such as Lightning Wolf or Max Storm. Stall with defense until it uses Energize and bugs out so that it charges infinitely instead of attacking. Now you'd wither it away with various attacks until it has -3700 HP (or less if possible, but not below -3800 because then it's dead). Then don't attack, just use defensive cards until you have 2000 shields and then discard all uninvolved cards until you have Chain Lightning, Meteorite, Power Flow, Death Flow, and Ice Orb in your hand. -3700-(1575(3))-1500-2000 = -11925, and if you could get it to -3775 then you can overkill for 12000.

Or you can just be Warlic/TheSage and just 500k your opponent.

DeathGuard -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:34:47)

I was trying it but he shield and force me to attack, else I would have died, Trying again, this time I will beat that 6100 damage record
5.3k negative damage

Hiduke -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:35:22)

@Phoenix Biggest overkill your process plus the dot process. Bam 13000k
9.3k+3.7k=13.0k

Good place to set up your combos for overkill(without no glitches) are.........The Cellar Rats they are weak AI that only do 1 hit per damage and attack more then shield.

@Lord Beck
question: who holds this tournaments?
Are they group of players or AE?
what does the winner get?
How is it set up?
How is the winner choosen?

I just noticed this, this is awesome...

@Hiduke: You're right, but to be able to time all those DoTs and draw them in the sequence you described before your earlier DoTs kick in would be nigh impossible. But for theoretical purposes you are right and I'm wrong. ^_^

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:44:48)

@TFP Okay then, time to start training Minotaur again.

1)The OS Forums ArchKnights
2)No, as previous said, the AKs
3)The players are divided in tournament brackets, being disqualified if they lose against their foes 3 of 5 battles.
4)Through bracket elimination.
5)It is chosen when the two last players fight between themselves, and the winner is hereby the championship of the element tourney.

Hiduke -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:49:47)

@DeathGuard....What does the winner get anything like usable apart from a title(titles are good).

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:51:55)

@Hiduke No nothing apart from bragging rights because there are only 8 elements you can play in the game so far, so being a champion of one is a pretty big deal.

The Jop -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:53:37)

@Hiduke
And the thrill of battle.

The Finnish Phoenix -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:53:55)

I'm so excited! [:D][:D][:D]

Hiduke -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:55:35)

Wait so the tournament only character of that actual element can join right?
What if the player is using another element but has earth skills apart from just having that element?

@below
A lvl 20 Cellar Rat just killed me......I feel embarrassed.

Truth be told I was typing and everything I forgot that I was fighting then I go back to my over soul screen and I am like I am dead.
didn't see name thought I didn't relies it was a player until I look up and see he was lvl 20 and that I hadn't been fighting a cellar rat from the cellar.

The Finnish Phoenix -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:56:19)

^That's badass. o_o Who was it?

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:58:17)

@Hiduke The majority of a deck must be Earth for an Earth tournament.Also , my Minotaur is very something, but since I want to be secret for the tourney I'll just say mmm instead.MMM!!!![8D][:D]
EDIT: Also, I don't think there is a character that is a combo of Earth and anything else yet. Add Neutralize to EE and a Power Strike, and it would be much more interesting.

DeathGuard -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:58:51)

I miscalculated Retribution's turn wait, and drift away just with 4 5 hit combo attacks ;-;
I was so close to beating that record with 6.3k negative damage D:

A lvl 20 cellar rat? I bet he was that guy obsessed with Rats here in OS forums, I don't remember his name though

The Jop -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 17:59:43)

@Hiduke
Please don't AFK in PvP unless you close the page, otherwise your opponent has to wait 30 seconds every time.

The Finnish Phoenix -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 18:01:21)

I think it was probably Labyth who was obsessed with Cellar Rats but I'm not sure.

Hiduke -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 18:01:31)

@The Jop you are correct my bad
but I wasn't gone for long I mean I knew I was in battle I charge my energy and I attack couple of times but I really wasn't paying attention. I do feel a bit of karma. Next time I will pay attention I didn't even see how he killed me thought.

@Below
really now I sort of feel happy thought I mean if a cellar rat can be good I can use the Dread hound to fight I do like him but he doesn't evolve so I held back on training him.

BJEBLE -> RE: =OS= Beta Release Thread 135 - READ THE FIRST POST (11/16/2013 18:02:29)

@TFP He was also extremely good with them, he had a theory about cards and predicting hands that made him very good at PvP.
