Is it just me or do you guys see a HUGE INCREASE in the amount of times being stunned and being blocked? What could be the cause?

With the way the game is now, sometimes that bad luck causes those same overused builds that the hardcore cap level players are using to lose.

A few of them were saying some not so nice things to me when they lost.

Maybe you are a str tm with low dex and 17 supp fighting alot of Dex TMs that block you and stun you alot with overload?

Oh once isn't so bad. But stuff like that is happening all the time. But we were pretty similar in stats. I'm talking about dex tech mages with 20 something supp stunning me 3 times in a match while getting crits with their overload while I have 50 support and they get deflections with low tech. It's happened several times. Or a guy with like 40 dex blocking me several times when I have twice his dex, and then he'll land every hand on me. It's happening all the time. :/

Care to explain why I stunned NPCs so many times with my Auxiliary last night? Something which never happened in the past is currently occurring for me...
But yeah, I got stunned with an Overload. I was fine with that, but the guy had Rage so he used his Auxiliary and stunned me again. So there was two stuns but the thing is, I got stunned soon after when he used Overload on me. https://twitter.com/Scyze_ED/status/418446701112721409

Just got blocked by a person with 35 dex (once) and 75 dex (twice) in the same 2v2 game, and I have 85 dex.

1 hit was a strike (with Celtic Cleaver), 1 was a Double Strike, and 1 was a Rage Strike. nsane, insane, unimaginable.

It's not like Rabble didn't mention luck factors (blocks, deflections, reworking rage, etc.) will be reworked. <.< He's stated during passives revamp, that it's his next big project - he won't release a band-aid which solves nothing, but wants to deal with it once and for all.

Everything revolves around bad luck, but little is mentioned about good luck - when you don't get blocked, don't get deflected, etc. Eh. >.> Y'know, not getting blocked or deflected, is also luck.

I still side with the concept of "proper luck". If a player has less of a stat than another player, they will not receive the luck benefits from that stat. Example: if I have less Dexterity than my enemy, I will not block them. This does not, however, involve raising the luck rates of players with the higher stat.

if that came into play right now focus 5 tech abusers with the infernal android would now have a 100% risk free laser blast, Strength dex builds would be unstoppable if you have less dex since they will always connect Etc.

While luck can be annoying it keeps certain builds in place and keeps them from going rampant.

Just got stunned TWICE by imagine dragon and she have 17 support against 45+13 support...

I have to say, I've been stunned by the 3% on auxiliaries quite a bit lately! Probably just bad luck though.

I will admit, my stun cannon has been getting what seems like way more stuns since that update.

Not unless a lucky event is likely to happen, which none are (greater than 50%). The concept states that luck will not occur for those at a disadvantage of that stat, and at a rate below 50%, they are not expected to be lucky anyways, on any given turn. This excludes the chance to start first, because it defaults to a fair number of 50% to each player.

The deflect chance maxes at 25%, the critical chance maxes at 20%, the stun chance maxes at 40% in Maul, the block chance is missing cap information but it is possible for it to reach 50% unless stated otherwise. My point is, conventional luck that is supposed to occur (first strike) and not occur (deflect, block, etc) can be distributed illogically in battles when it was not meant to be. Good example: a player with 150 Support is critically hit by a player with 20 Support for 2/3 of their attacks. They were technically likely to hit critically (2/3), but at a rate of 1%, they were just "lucky". I disagree with this luck as it just makes this game look more like lottery, when, it would not if these uncalled for lucky events never happened.

Yeah... Just got in a battle. Apparently 8 more dex means getting crits 4/5 hits. The enemy had no crit cores.

I was on my merc level 6. Very high support; my opponent was a level 3 tech mage with base support. First move goes to her. Stun. She saves her energy and when our health is both at half she stuns me AGAIN. So I'm about to get whooped. Of course I won but I think that was ridiculous. Stun chance needs to be moved to 15% maybe because the stun move itself is powerful enough to be used just for damage.

epic duel for me is like the chess, who do the best moves win, but the block/deflect/criticals make you need luck for win, what is extremly annoyning

in chess there is no such thing as luck.

I just got stun by a level 38 who have 17+0 support while i have 45+33 support... and it was a level 6 stun.

Sometimes one can outweigh the other. Typically it's luck.

may player want it to be all skill will little luck as possible. You see how many bad winners and sore losers there are in game.

However at the same time it feel good even if by luck to beat some of those players who think they are suppose to win all the time then watch them throw a hissy fit.

My last battle with frostblitz with that high energy high health poison strength build was a pure example of what you are talking about. Near the end I managed to get w blocks one including his rage and the second one when I would have died if he connected.

Man he was throwing a hissy fit calling me lucky.

However at the same time though i did have more dex than him at least 50 more so I think that may have come into play there as well.

Yesterday, I got hit 5 times with a crit in 1v1 against someone with 15 more support.

Today, my opponent with less dex and support gets 1 block, 3 crits and first strike.

Something needs to be looked at.
