@KK: Well, their "military" is their primary defense during enemy attacks. Right now, they are still hesitant to implement a more complex defense system, because the last time they tried that, they ended up trapped in an unbreakable shell. And, as I've already mentioned, they are also unwilling to upgrade their robots for combat out of paranoia, too. Speaking of which, their automatons are quite resilient, and even when they are temporally incapacitated, they're surprisingly easy to repair, and they rarely require spare parts, because their components were built to last. That said, they are also quite "sluggish" most of the time. The development of live-like robots, (like the ones Aigis and the old-lady were building) is a relatively recent development, and they're still on their "infancy" when compared to the reliability of the older machines. To be frank, I still haven't thought about that aspect too well. As I've mentioned, my objective with this story is to write without worrying too much about every single detail before doing so, as over-planning has already killed (or left on indefinite hiatus) a lot of my stories before. So, I accept suggestions and ideas regarding that matter. One of the things that I can confirm right now, is that most buildings have electricity and other "basic services" we've grown accustomed to use in modern times. (no, there's no Internet, though) @Chazero: I know... Sorry for the typos. I think I've fixed them, but be sure to inform me in case I missed something. Useless Trivia of the day: One of my most common mistakes when it comes to writing seems to be mixing up gender-related pronouns and titles... For some odd reason that I can't begin to fathom. It doesn't happen THAT often, but it's really annoying when it does. @Lemonus: What Rez said... So, yeah; feel free to submit a profile if you feel like joining up.
