Stonehawk -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/27/2014 15:17:46)

Well. Considering that, at this moment:
The top 20 exile factions made almost 700.000 influence and the top 20 legion factions made 300.000 influence;
The top 20 exile players made almost 330.000 influence and top 20 legion players made 90.000 influence;

The 20th legion player made 3.300 influence and the 20th legion faction made 5.990 influence.
The 20th exile player made 6.100 influence and the 20th exile faction made 13.200 influence.

The information above means that all the other player and factions made less than this, because they are 21th or less.

Both sides made 2.800.000 at this moment.

If all other legion players made 3.000 influence (many player probably made less than this, since the 20th made 3.300), they should need 903 players (minimum) to do such damage.
If all other legion players made 5.000 influence (many player probably made less than this, since the 20th made 6.000), exiles would need 411 players (minimum) to do such damage.

This is only LEADERBOARD OVERALL information!

Considering that I always see more EXILE players, there's high improbability for the overall score to be right.

suboto -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/27/2014 15:38:42)

Its not a bug if u looked u will see 10legion players where 3exiles are. Also we taken down the health objective 1st is why we are doing far more better!

Mother1 -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/27/2014 16:02:50)

@ suboto

I am looking at the LB and now I am thinking something here is fishy as well.

While better tactics can are an improvement to slow things down the influence from both LB aren't adding up.

suboto -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/27/2014 16:07:09)

true i guess il admit. I was waiting for a war rally never got one....

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/27/2014 16:26:52)

The devs have stated that Legion has more players, but Exile has more players near the level cap. This explains the Exile advantage for the leaderboard, and the alignment tie overall. Furthermore, the prizes are disproportionally more useful for lower-levelled players, giving them more of an incentive to participate, further benefitting Legion.

lionblades -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/27/2014 16:41:04)

Yes, I agree with Stonehawk and Mother1. This War battle is very fishy indeed.

If perhaps the Legions win this war battle by having been favored by the Devs and having Dev intervention and 2-3 times more War Rallies than Exile, every Exile player is going to be pissed.
Word to Devs, if the Exiles naturally are winning, stop manipulating the numbers with War Rallies and other sneaky forms of manipulation. This just ruins the whole point of war and ruins EDs Storyline.

It would be nice if the Devs come out on this thread and actually comment if they are or are not manipulating the numbers (AKA favoring Legion), but with their "secretive nature" I highly doubt they would do that.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/27/2014 17:03:14)

Lionblades can I ask for what times these War Rallies happened?

I was online all yesterday and the Exiles got a War Rally from ~8:30PM to ~9:30EST and according to the war thread the Exiles got a second War Rally around 7AM EST. So for your logic to be correct you need to show four or five War Rallies between 10AM EST when I logged off to hang out with friends and 5PM EST which is basically right now.

Yeah four war rallies in 7 hours is very likely. But I'll concede a War rally could have happened between 11PM EST and 7AM EST for Legion but that is one for Legion and two for Exile

ScarletReaper -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/27/2014 17:25:08)

Hey, since exile is just going to complain if the war isn't handed to them and they actually have to fight for it, let's just give them the win now and call it good right? Might as well cause all I see all over these threads is exile players complaining that they aren't stomping on the legion this time.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/27/2014 17:28:44)

@Scarlet that takes me back to Infernal Infiltration when my friends the Legion called foul play on not stomping the Exiles like they did in Frysteland.

Frankly the Legion was down in the dumps for the longest time after that war and this is our literal rally call! We can reclaim victory through order! Oh and send me back to helping the Exiles because lord knows I only side with the losers of the last war but whatever

Uh...what? All I said was IF the Legions win with 2 to 3 times the amount of War Rallies Exile gets (plus possible Dev intervention favoring Legion), many Exile players will be pissed. The war has not ended yet so I don't know what you are even talking about. It was a hypothetical statement about this war battle's ending, not fact.

Also, I said the leaderboards is fishy due to the highly disproportionate numbers like Stonehawk and Mother1 say and you come back with this:
quote:

The devs have stated that Legion has more players, but Exile has more players near the level cap. This explains the Exile advantage for the leaderboard, and the alignment tie overall. Furthermore, the prizes are disproportionally more useful for lower-levelled players, giving them more of an incentive to participate, further benefitting Legion.

No one knows for a fact if the Devs are giving a helping hand however small. Likewise, the part I quoted in bold doesn't fully back up your explanation. For example, how active are those players? Also quite a few players quit after Delta. All your reasoning is hypothetical. No one can know for a fact until a Dev(s) can clarify why the LB is so disproportionate.
That is why I said this: It would be nice if the Devs come out on this thread and actually comment if they are or are not manipulating the numbers (AKA favoring Legion), but with their "secretive nature" I highly doubt they would do that.
Finally, I don't care if the Legion's win. If they do kudos to them they earned it fair and square. But if they win with possible Dev's help and 2-3 times more War Rallies than Exile, then they don't deserve to win it at all.

Mysterion. -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/28/2014 0:12:26)

The war rally of legion has passed the 45 minutes already, thought it said 'for 30 minutes'.

Stonehawk -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/28/2014 9:20:45)

It's funny how all the other wars (that exile won easily) had free rewards for the winning side and varium for the other side. Now that legion is mysteriously stronger all of a sudden, it's not purshasable for the losing side. Maybe this war was made to make exile mad. lol

@Mysterion
From DN Notes:

War Rally duration increased from 30 minutes to 60 minutes

Devs sure like War Rallies huh.

then, the legion made approx 100k of influence in 57 mins and exiles 40k with war rally. if you print not is a fake, is a good description of what is happening. i open this thread to find the reason of this.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/28/2014 11:56:10)

Even I have to admit that is some pretty heavy rubber-banding.

All the more reason we need a full list of players points so we can see how many points are thrown in by the reinforcement system

dfo99 -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/28/2014 13:21:32)

yeah, a full list could solve this mystery fast.

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/28/2014 13:54:14)

Here is my unbiased opinion on this matter IF there is a massive handicap in place

If the developers want a reinforcement system that keeps the war this close that is completely fine so long as they remove War Rallies which are the main cause for this uproar. Also disable the reinforcement system for the final stretch of the war, say the last million points

If the developers don't want to remove war rallies then loosen the reinforcement system so a side can fall say 10K points behind before reinforcements are a thing and have the war rally not be able to trigger until even with the reinforcements you are falling behind that 100K gap

Edit: forgot a 0

QUESTION! I went into battle with the scores Legion 4,380,### and Exile 4,440,###. During that fight an Exile War rally started and the scores are now Legion 4,382,### and Exile 4,461,###. How did Exile get a war rally?

Daph Duck -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/28/2014 16:29:39)

If there is a reinforcements system did it stop? Exile is currently winning by well over 200k

Mysterion. -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/28/2014 17:58:25)

They probably stopped with it because we were figuring it out.[:-]

One Winged Angel1357 -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/28/2014 21:34:41)

There is also that ever real chance that the Legion players that were in the war just stopped caring.

I know I was very very miffed when Exile got a war rally while they had a sixty thousand point lead and called it quits for the day

Mother1 -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/28/2014 21:43:24)

@ OWA

There is that and there is also what Mysterion. said as well. Remember every time either side got a war rally before this Neither side held onto a huge lead for long. The side that got the boost from the war rally before would always have the gap closed by the other side without one. Especially the other one where Legion caught back up with 1 hour without it. Not saying it is impossible but still as we pointed out the number scream foul play as well especially looking at the older LB where they would somewhat pan out better.

Silver Sky Magician -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/29/2014 1:25:14)

I think the devs should personally clarify

1) How on earth the war rally system works. I was under the impression that it existed to aid the losing side, not give the winning side an overwhelming advantage. And it seems very suspicious to me that Exile has had the vast majority of War Rallies despite almost always being in the lead when these rallies occur.

2) If either side has had any unstated dev reinforcement, and if so, the reasons for this choice. There have always been accusations of rigging in any factional war in an AE game, but this is the first that the devs have refused, quite pointedly, to give any assurance to dispel such rumours.

It increasingly appears that this war has not been planned well, which is incomprehensible, given that this is the fourth such war. If the devs are unable to themselves interact with the community, they should provide relevant information to the Archknights and forum mods so that they can do so instead. This complete dearth of information is not helping at all.

suboto -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/29/2014 1:34:25)

the reason why legion was neck to neck with exile was because we took down the health thing 1st. that reduced exiles damage to us. now i see legions going for 2 things at once which neither reduce in damage to us unless destoryed. I now think the reason we lost is due to us killing health objective 1st. i think the health one is to allow us to catch up and the finisher one is a way for exile to catch up or gain a lead. next war i think finisher down 1st. will provent exile from gaining a super lead later on. then kill health objective which would allow us to slow exile down and catch up or take the lead. then kill the standard objective.
I think this is the right way to go next time. health objective works as a way to slow exile down so ya

nowras -> RE: what is happening on this war? (6/29/2014 9:12:02)
