Heads up, bio finally here. Real Name: Alice Flair Faction: FBSA Operative Alias (If any): Seeker (as an FBSA codename) Age: 22 Race: Human Appearance: Alice is of Caucasian descent, standing at 5’7”. She possesses a light-skinned average figure, and always wears a white blindfold. Her short, wavy hair are dyed the colours of a vivid flame, ranging from yellow to deep red. Outside of missions, she dresses in casual clothes, otherwise wearing a standard-issue FBSA military suit that offers basic protection. Powers: Superhuman sense of smell. Abilities ( Due to her background and occupation, Alice has received military training. She knows how to operate firearms, and knows how to fight hand-to-hand. Other than that, she has learned Strengths: Alice possesses an extremely developed sense of smell. She can effectively use it as a way to compensate for her blindness, as it is so accurate she can “sense” the outlines of anything close to her, and big objects (Assuming every part of a person's body carries their scent, I would imagine Alice being able to "see" outlines simply based on the fact that she can detect where the smell is coming from. If said person moved, Alice could tell his/her new position simply by the fact that the scent's origin would have shifted in place). This allows her to even, within reason, detect things through walls and natural barriers. She can recognize people and specific objects after having acquired their scent (either picking it up directly from the intended target or from something that has had consistent enough contact with them), being able to track and recognize them if they come anywhere near her detection range (which is, at maximum, around 20 miles). Range also becomes much less of a problem when she is tracking a specific target. Weaknesses: Alice’s smell can’t completely replace normal, human eyesight. While she can “see” the outlines of objects and people, her smell can’t detect details as well as regular eyesight, and needs time to properly explore her surroundings. For this reason, she adapts well to working with other FBSA Operatives and is rather defenseless when alone against other Supers. She also doesn’t possess any offensive abilities, relying purely on firearms or on her modest hand-to-hand fighting skills. Her detection becomes weaker and more difficult to use as the distance between her and her target increases: after about 5 miles she'd only be able to track targets whose scent she has already acquired, and figures would become fuzzy and hard to distinguish. Personality: Alice maintains a happy-go-lucky personality, seemingly unaffected by her tragic history and disability. When facing criminals or villains, however, she becomes rather focused, avoiding behaviour that could inhibit progress on her mission. History: Alice was the daughter of an unknown criminal, killed during a governmental taskforce’s raid on a suspect criminal hideout. She was wounded by an incendiary grenade thrown by an operative while trying to hide amidst the chaos and confusion. The flash and the searing flames left her blind in both eyes, though the rest of her lithe body was left miraculously untouched. Being a little more than a child at the time of this attack, she was the only one to be spared. She spent some time at a government institution before being adopted by one of the operatives who had participated in the attack. Her presence was initially bureaucratically problematic, because there were no official records that she existed at all. As a definitive solution, she was named Alice by the man who had decided to take care of her, and she took his surname. She grew up and became familiar with the government’s special police due to her parent’s employment, being generally accepted and even occasionally taken care of by other members of the task force. She lived as much of a normal life as her blindness and social condition allowed, until she began developing her powers. This happened shortly after the operative that represented her only parental figure was killed in a reprisal attack by NNYC Mafia. When the governmental agents realized how useful her abilities could be for tracking down wanted criminals and making sure that operations succeeded she was pulled out of her “normal” life and given a private education offered by the government while being trained as an operative. She was one of the first Superhumans to be actively integrated into the FBSA, and even then she enjoys a much higher degree of trust than that given to other, extraneous Supers who joined the task-force.
