How is the final boss of the antechamber determined? I know the miniboss is dependent on which option you choose more of but the final boss feels random.

Huh. I thought both the mini boss and the final boss were randomly chosen. What makes you think the mini boss depends on which options you chose?

I've done the antechamber ~30 times and haven't noticed a pattern.

How do I beat Siofra in Leaving the Nest? I'm playing as a Cryptic and he's kicking my butt. Every defensive ability I throw at him he shreds right through like it's paper, and I can barely do damage to him. I even got a poison weapon because I thought he had a weakness to poison. Please help. I'm getting royally frustrated.

Cryptic is fine, but it takes a long time.

I recommend using Technomancer or another class that gives -all to make the fight go by faster. Stan orb helps too.

Notes: I'm looking to beat those bosses to acquire the components of Penultimate Destiny Weapons. I do own DK ver02, so im planning to use that class but i want to know how to approach the respective bosses using DK. Thank you!

RW is fine, just make sure to shield the stuns (and use mischief dragon + your stun to keep their rotations sync'ed). Do Theano first.

V2 is fine, just make sure you have 101 immo res as you have no shield and your +immo skill has too long of a CD (200 END will help with this, and then you should look around for +immo stuff like Slimy Necklace or Ultra OmniKnight Blade). The only threat in the fight is being chain stunned. Do Theano first as well.

In either case, I recommend 1 mischief 150 protect, then either 160 fighting or 1 fighting 159 magic.

You might want to bring weapons of all the elements that Siofra can be weak to as well, so the fight goes by faster.

Does eGambit eAegis Vengeance Slice Rebuke do enough damage to kill him? Are you using eGambit at all?

Also, you should use INT ChW, not STR, as ChW has slice to give it +crit and Untangle is a massive Autocrit.

Previously Used Strategies: A previous strategy was to equip Ancient Exosuit with high water resist and rotate the re-enforce armor button with shield. But it became a stalemate where Yllmar could not kill me but I also could not kill it either
Notes: I came very close to victory with Pyromancer and Yllmar was down to about 1800 points of HP. I only had one more turn of cooldown before I could stun Yllmar and then finish the battle. But Yllmar regenerated back up to over 8000 HP on its next turn which was extremely discouraging as it looked like another endless stalemate situation. Vaal's Ego Trinket was helpful with its damage over time effect and also to see the number of turns taken. For the first 100 turns of the Vaal's Ego Trinket I endeavored to slay Yllmar, then after 50 more turns ...I quit...

So, from an academic interest perspective, I did Yllmar with Pyromancer. Standard BiS gear with Ice Scythe, 200 Magic/Fighting/199 Prot/1 Mischief dragon. It took me about 18 minutes (and 4 conflags) to kill Yllmar with the standard Pyro rotation (+triflame subbed in occasionally). Basically, you need to win enough (2+) heal coinflips in a row to have a chance.

I'd recommend using Techno instead if you want to farm it. It's possible that ranger + water resist is fine too, but I haven't investigated.

Thank you for the helpful suggestions Astral Codex. I finally defeated Yllmar with Pyromancer and Kid Dragon, but I did not receive the water axe with 10 points of all resist. I received a gold token.

It seemed to help my strategy when I switched my weapon to Threadcutter IX and raised the crit stat. It still took many turns, something like 125 turns. Yllmar keeps regenerating but its amount of regeneration seems reduced with consistent application of triflame and malcifer.

Yllmar is a titan so why isn't there an option for players to summon their pet dragon's titan form?

First of all, I recommend Ice Scythe + SF Ice due to Pyro's high hitcount. It's basically just 30% extra damage for you and Pet Dragon.

That being said, I don't recommend Pyro for farming Yllmar at all, since you'll need to win 2 heal coinflips in a row, and Pyro just isn't a very high damage class to begin with. Again, I recommend Technomancer, which only needs to win one thanks to vent heat and short CD stuns.

If you have SO classes, the 2018 and 2020 Epochs, Swot, Archivist, and V2 are all much better options, due to higher burst and or stun uptime.

I gave Technomancer a try and you are correct, it works much better than Pyromancer for the Yllmar challenge.

More gold tokens, a level 45 knife, and a mysterious box is what I have acquired so far after defeating Yllmar 3 more times.

I will try again later with the ice scythe. Thank you for the help.

Hey so I've been looking for a bug report thread on this forum but couldn't find one so I'm posting here, apologies if I missed it. For Sepulchure's fight in the Unfortunate Souls challenge, Soul Slice doesn't work. I got his health down below 5%, the hit connected, the pop-up "Foe annihilated" appeared on the screen, but nothing happened.

I'm a Soulweaver main so this move is essential to my strategy, and wanted to defeat Sepulchure through this class for... roleplay purposes. If this could be fixed, it'd be great!

@nkhonsaigon - For future reference, bugs can be reported here: https://bugs.artix.com/. That said, the issue you are reporting is not a bug - Sepulchure gains the All resist as the fight goes on, which means than ANY damage is reduced significantly and allows him to survive the Foe Annihilated effect.

@Stratuscone, I'm not sure what the optimal skip strat is given your gear, but when I was doing AARGH with v2, I skipped Sentog, Squirrel, Archdryad, Kathool, Sinnocence, and Emperor, and died to Bear and Sepulchure.

I have strategies for all of those fights on my Youtube channe, and many have strategies for various fights on their channels as well.

Can I just say that after attempting IE for about the 10th time today, following those youtube guides, how ANNOYING that boss fight is? Like, I understand they're supposed to be challenges, but man, is it annoying even when I follow the guides click per click, and then the dragons just does something that makes me not able to follow the guide anymore.

Just a mini rant, I'll just have to try again sometime. I thought I should mention, that I've literally tried the most optimal classes for this challenge, Technomancer, all Epochs besides the newly released Dragonbyte and Doompoch, and UWE before the huge nerf, adn even Doomknight and I just can't for the life of me, beat them cuz RNG and whatnot. I also don't have the DM accessories, I think that might be factoring into my losses a bit.

If anyone else has any suggestions that could help me beat them, by all means please post. I would appreciate it.

I've decided to try using the updated Deathknight on the Baleful Brothers challenge, and while I still have yet to defeat Majji when they're all together, I was wondering if there is a way to do it.

My logic was that with the high boost and defense skills, I'd be able to use the Cursed Strike to be able to chip away at Majji until he went down. However, I haven't had luck with that.

Will take any tips available for fighting Tizheruk. Its probably something obvious that I'm missing but I've fought him a good half dozen times by now and have barely managed to scratch him. I am not even close to max level (51), though I have every class except the Calender classes. I don't think I have the Guardian class maxed out though. Can change build as needed. Bass class is fighter.
