It would still need to be addressed, because that particular passive function becomes redundant if Melee and Magic damage no longer use DEX in their calculation; there's no point in having a passive dedicated to replacing the DEX calc for BtH with STR and INT if STR and INT cover their respective BtH needs outside of that armor. This also brings up a question of an effect to the Tenebrophage, since it does the same BtH calculation as the Werepyre armors.

There are likely going to be a bunch of future updates that will alter items/features/etc that the staff will have to implement. I wouldn't expect the next update to fix literally everything but it's a step in the right direction. It's gonna be really interesting in the coming months [:D]

We've reached 33% (again)!

With the current speed, I expect we'd reach the end of the war around the 8th of April, which is probably a good thing since the staff won't have to deal with this, april fool's release and the inevitable stat revamp fixes all over the course of a single week.

I see. Leprechauns are used to things just naturally going their way thanks to their incredible Fortune. Take that away and they become a bunch of total incompetents.

The war was going a bit fast on day one and then it was going a bit slow during week one.

Now just over 50% and the War is going a bit slow.

I can't complain though, my characters have gained 9 levels each so far this War....

Another 2 weeks of this should be good.

The New Trade Hut levels have been very useful.

Auto sending Armies has not been any use, because
a/ It takes too long to exhaust the resources.
b/ The only way to turn it off is to leave the game ?

Why not have a "Stop Army" button on the screen with the Auto Army image?

The war is finally approaching its end. I had a few closing remarks about this war given how crazy long it has become, like last years’ double sided blarney war.

1. Another plea for making war variants rebuyable. As I said before. I don’t war anymore because variants are just space takers. I might be motivated to war if between this and the below are implemented. This is already done with titles so I think we should consider this going forward.

2. A nice perk for warmongers possibly; the right to skip directly to the shop and no questing required. Also allowing any character on your account to access both the war variant and the shop directly as long as ONE of your characters has fulfilled the requirements on the account.

3. Given the efficiency of estates, perhaps now is a good time to think about just making all wars at least 2 million? I think 4 was too much and I think 2 is a good middle ground.

I have expressed other thoughts about warring in general in the relevant estates thread. Hope the staff takes in the feedback and considers these suggestions seriously. Warring in of itself isn’t really encouraged and some extra perks and anti annoyance measures would bring in a lot of value.

Ps: we really should just rebrand QOL at this point to “anti-annoyance”. I think that captures far better what people need more than anything else.

Full army just sends the army once, exhaust army keeps sending full armies until you're out of resources. So if you need resources for anything else, you probably don't want to exhaust the army.

If you send an army with higher power, which you get from having a higher reputation, they get better results, but also seem to cost more resources.

On another note, it does seem that if you have both paintings, and you select exhaust army, it defaults to using Trescol, even if you started it on Kairula. I had to put my Trescol picture/portal into my shared vault to avoid that. Kairula's costs are easier to calculate, since your energy costs are always just double your food costs.

War is at 99%

At some point, given how a lot of armors recently have been tailored to rangers and DEX builds, I may actually try to switch one of my characters to a Ranger. Though the fact a lot of these Ranger items have been seasonals leaves a bad taste in the mouth for niches to fill.


Also since this war dragged on for so long, can we think about extending the Blarney access to the end of this month or possibly sometime in May? We could make space by getting rid of the sticker for Junior Squires of Order.

Wow this armor looks sick just looking at the info subs. Initiative bonus with the damage boost if you go first and (if I’m reading this correctly) reduced damage intake for the first turn if you have less luk than the monster. Could be super useful and has no downsides. Good chance at going first with initiative, and if you don’t then you don’t have to worry about getting smacked. It’s a shame the skill has to be ranged locked though. Rangers been getting all the juicy stuff lately. I like the uniqueness of these items we’ve been getting lately though. Nice to see something different hopefully this trend continues

Yea this armor is insane. The Master Thief version looks awesome too this might be one of my favorite armors in the game. The efficient skill is very nice and the animation for it is sickkkkk. The info subs say “ If player LUK >= monster LUK, then the player's Ranged attacks deal +50% damage until the monster takes their first turn.” This stacks on top of the +50% damage from initiative right?

Yes, it stacks. So if You meet that condition, you will deal +100% damage with Ranged attacks on your first turn.

In regards to the Fortune Thief armor:
1. Waited awhile to see if this was a bug that was gonna be updated but, the "in battle" MRM is significantly lower than the description in the reward shop:
Reward shop- (lvl 150 vers) 55/54/50
Battle (no shield)- (lvl 150 vers) 49/47/44
From my understanding from then looking at the info subs, this is due to the overall -6 MRM due to the abilities of the armor, however that would mean magic defense should be 48 not 47. Though I find it kinda weird that it isn't just an <already taken out of> calculation in the description instead of being taken out in actual combat; very misleading.


2. In keeping with the theme of the "thief" title of the armor, wouldn't it make more sense the armor skill also add the reduced LUK from the monster to the player?

3. Also, something that I've been meaning to address, but this armor really highlights the desire for:
Temporary initiative- Instead of indefinitely having this effect that really only has any purpose on the first turn, would it be possible to have the effect temporary, and in the case of the armor, provide back the MRM loss that was sacrificed for the effect.
