Location: Amityvale (Book 3) -> Up -> Left -> Enter house on right -> Verlyrus -> A Fowl Feast -> Quest!
Requirements: Completion of De-Bugging
Release Date: January 23rd, 2026
Objective: The mystery of the door is just asking to be solved.
Objective completed: As the Unraveler's cage weakens, the final lord remains to be found. Whoever they are, hopefully they understand chicken.

*You, Verlyrus, and the Fish Lord are in the secret cave under Amityvale; they look at the strange door with the symbols of a paw, a fish, and a wing respectively.*
<Character>: So, uh, yeah. There's this door here.
Fish Lord: Well done! Thou hast unearthed an incredible discovery!
<Character>: It's some kind of puzzle, right?
Fish Lord: Not... quite.
Fish Lord: The sealed passage before us encloses a terrible being, trapp'd within reflections of crystal.
<Character>: ...The Moth?
Verlyrus: ...Meow.
<Character>: The... Unraveler?
Fish Lord: None other.
<Character>: Okay... That sounds pretty bad. How do we open the door and stop it before it escapes?
Fish Lord: Legend says that in Amityvale's distant past, a group of exiles fleeing some far away conflict settled in these very caves.
Verlyrus: Meow miao!
<Character>: They were spiders?!
Verlyrus: Hiss!
<Character>: Spider people? Wait, no, weavers! Like Soulweavers?
Verlyrus: Nya!
Fish Lord: Indeed. Alongside their culture and techniques from across the ocean, they also brought their dreams.
<Character>: I've never heard of any Soulweavers in Amityvale. I'm guessing it didn't end well for them.
Verlyrus: Mew...
Fish Lord: Forsooth, for their dreams brought the Unraveler. And the Unraveler brought destruction.
<Character>: Wow. Spooky.
Fish Lord: After the weavers were wiped out, the Unraveler was not sated. And before long, it began feeding upon the people above.
<Character>: How'd it get stopped? I'm assuming it was stopped, since the town is still there.
Fish Lord: When all seemed lost, three legendary guardians of the forest appeared.
*Verlyrus looks at the door's symbols, signifying the three legendary guardians.*
Verlyrus: Meow.
Verlyrus: Mew.
Verlyrus: Purr.
<Character>: The Lords of the Waters, Air, and Land...?
Fish Lord: Together, the mighty lords fought the Unraveler, diving into dream and nightmare and beyond!
Fish Lord: And though their powers waned greatly toward the end, they succeeded in trapping the Unraveler in a prison of reflective crystal.
Fish Lord: The heart of that prison lays behind this door, which may only be opened by the grace of the three Lords.
Fish Lord: And though diminished, it's said that those three Lords keep their watch over these lands even to this day.
*After listening to the story of the Unraveler, you began to notice that the Fish Lord knows more than it thinks.*
<Character>: Okay, well you're obviously the Lord of the Waters. We just have to find the other two, and we can get this sorted.
*The Fish Lord is surprised that you determine its real identity as the Lord of the Waters.*
Lord of the Waters: But... How? How did thou determine my divine presence?! My disguise was nigh impenetrable!
<Character>: You can speak. And you call yourself the Fish Lord.
<Character>: And you know suspiciously a lot about what's going on. You also just confirmed it.
Lord of the Waters: Such perceptivity! Astounding!
<Character>: Right. So, where do we start finding the other two lords?
*Verlyrus puts his paw at the wing symbol, signifying the Lord of the Air must be found first.*
Verlyrus: Mew!
<Character>: Okay, sure, let's start with the Lord of the Air. What can you tell me about them?
Verlyrus: Meow! Mjau mrow!
<Character>: Hmm... A ferocious beast, fine of feather, with a cry that could command the clouds?
Lord of the Waters: Alas, they have not been seen for an age. We have no leads.
Lord of the Waters: Such a divine presence would be unmistakable...
*After the Lord of the Waters described the Lord of the Air, you suddenly have an idea.*
<Character>: Wait, I have an idea!
*Scene shifts to the apex of Zeuster's mountain, where you meet Zeuster as you think he is the Lord of the Air; your conversation with Zeuster unfortunately has no results as he is not the Lord.*
Zeuster: I have no idea what you're talking about.
*There is a brief pause before Zeuster offers you a sandwich.*
Zeuster: Want a sandwich for the climb back down?
<Character>: Sure.
*The player takes Holy Sandwich; scene shifts back to the secret cave under Amityvale, where you meet back with Verlyrus and the Lord of the Waters following your disappointing meeting with Zeuster.*
Verlyrus: Meow?
<Character>: I was wrong. Any luck back here?
Verlyrus: Mew! Hiss. Meow miau mew! Mjau mao meow meow.
Verlyrus: Hiss meooooow!
<Character>: The mayor's up his old tricks again? He's holding Amityvale's first Annual Chicken Fry-Up Feast?!
*After listening to Verlyrus' ramblings of the Mayor, you decided to follow Verlyrus' lead.*
<Character>: Wait, that actually doesn't sound that bad.
Lord of the Waters: Alas, 'tis grave news! For chickens, the brave folk that they are, were once hunted to the brink of extinction on this continent!
Lord of the Waters: For their flesh and eggs were too delicious, and their feathers too useful for myriad purposes!
Lord of the Waters: It was only due to King Alteon's efforts that chicken populations have increased to sustainable levels once more.
Lord of the Waters: But such a feast at this time is irresponsible! Reprehensible!
Verlyrus: Meow.
<Character>: I agree, the timing is quite suspicious... The Mayor must be up to something!
<Character>: I'll just have to crash the feast!
Lord of the Waters: Make haste, hero! I have been informed that the proceedings have already begunst!
Lord of the Waters: Perhaps if thou savest as many of the feathered folk as thou canst, thou wilt earn the favor and audience of the Lord of the Air!
<Character>: ...Oh, yeah, that too.
*Scene fades to black, before fading back in; you are now in the Mayor's feast, where other citizens also attend.*
Mayor: —the glorious future of Amityvale, as golden as the breading on this delicious fried chicken!
*The citizens *Clap*, 'Yaaay'!, 'Whooo!' collectively.*
<Character>: Oh no... Am I too late?
Mayor: And who could forget our wonderful new resident, here to celebrate with us? ...This person!
Citizen (1): That's <Character>!
Citizen (2): <He's/She's/They're> pretty cool!
Mayor: Ah. Of course. <Character>, the "Pretty Cool"...
Mayor: I'm sure we can fry up some fresh chicken for you, honored guest...!
<Character>: Stop this! There will be no more frying of chickens!
*The citizens *Mutter* collectively.*
<Character>: ...I sound like a crazy person. This is it. I've finally lost it.
Citizen (3): Aaaiiieee!!!! The— the chicken...!
*Suddenly, a chicken sandwich enlarges itself from a table, causing citizens to run away from the feast.*
Citizen (4): IT'S ALIVE! RUN AWAY!!
Battle! - begins gauntlet.
Heal - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions.
Run Away! - returns to Amityvale (Book 3).
*After stopping the mutated chickens, you try to figure out why the chickens mutate and attack the citizens.*
<Character>: I guess the feast was stopped... But what was that all about?
*Scene pans right as red arrows appear at the chicken pens' sign.*
<Character>: Hmm. The chicken pens?
*Scene fades to black before fading back in; you are in the chicken pens; a chicken pecks at the ground with yolk.*
<Character>: Um. Hello. I don't suppose any of you is the uh, Lord of the Air?
*Scene zooms out, showing more chickens and that the yolk are a part of a ritual circle that they have conducted; it appears that the Lord of the Air has been expecting you as it glares back at you.*
Lord of the Air?: Bawk?
<Character>: Right, yeah, it's pretty obvious, isn't it?
*Scene cuts to black.*
