Ash: Sudden changes in weather patterns are never a good sign...
<Character>: I don't know what you're talking about, Ash. This is so cool!
<Character>: We could make snowmoglins!
<Character>: Or enjoy hot cocoaberry juice!
<Character>: Or have snowball fights, or–
*A large amount of snow falls on you and your dragon as Falconreach is now covered in snow.*
<Character>: ...Okay, I'm starting to see a problem.
<Dragon>: Speak for yourself! | *Cheerful chirps!*
*Twilly enters with news that Falconreach has been invaded by ice monsters true to Ash's words.*
Twilly: Oh noes! <Character>, there's snow monsters everywhere!
Twilly: There's a big scary guy with a dragon standing in front of the Guardian Tower! He might be a DragonLord!
<Character>: A DragonLord and a dragon are behind this? We won't let them turn Falconreach into a permanent towncicle!
<Character>: Ash, Twilly, you guys take care of things down here. I'll handle things up top!
*You fight various snow monsters until you reach the Guardian Tower, where you have defeated all of them.*
Twilly: We did it! We beat all of the snow monsters!
*Suddenly, Frostscythe—the DragonLord that Twilly mentioned earlier—appears; he is wielding an ice draconic scythe.*
Frostscythe: What's this? A no-name adventurer has managed to drive back my army?
<Character>: You must be the DragonLord behind this attack... But why are you attacking Falconreach?
Frostscythe: I do not have time for this....
Frostscythe: Give me the Orb and I shall make your deaths swift!
<Character>: Orb? What Orb? I have no idea what you are talking about!
Frostscythe: Enough of this! I will have the Orb!
Frostscythe: Glaisaurus, I command you to my side!
Battle! - begins battle with Frostscythe and Glaisaurus.
Heal - fully replenishes HP, MP, and potions.
Run Away! - launches Leave Quest confirmation box; clicking 'Yes' will teleport player to Falconreach (Books 1 and 2).
*You and your dragon are victorious against Frostscythe and Glaisaurus; Frostscythe wails after his loss.*
<Dragon>: We did it! Take that, bad guy! | *Victorious roar!*
Frostscythe: NO! YOU BROKE MY DRAGON AMULET! Without it, Glaisaurus is useless to me!
<Character>: It broke? Do Dragon Amulets really break that easily?
Twilly: Dragon Amulets are supposed to reflect the unbreakable bond between a DragonLord and their Dragon.
<Character>: It doesn't seem like their bond was unbreakable either, did you see the way he was treating his dragon?
Frostscythe: Our 'bond'?! You know nothing!
<Dragon>: I wouldn't let anyone treat me like that! | *Disapproving snarl*
Twilly: If his Dragon Amulet broke, that can only mean one thing—
*Zorbak teleports in a puff of smoke.*
Zorbak: Meh... Cast the wrong teleport spell.
Frostscythe: Zorbak! You said taking the Orb would be as easy as freezing candy from a baby!
Zorbak: What? Oh. If it isn't DragonMaster Frostscythe!
Frostscythe: How dare you deceive me! I will have your head for this humiliation!
Zorbak: You? Take my head? Big words for someone who got their butt kicked by a half-baked "hero".
Zorbak: Besides, I only said there was a fifty-fifty chance there would be an Orb here: either there was one, or there wasn't.
Zorbak: Guess you went through all this trouble for nothing!
Frostscythe: I will tear your ears off and feed them to Glaisaurus!
Zorbak: Meh heh heh heh... Smell you later, Fartscythe!
*Zorbak vanishes in a puff of smoke after insulting Frostscythe; you and Twilly continue to question Frostscythe on Dragon Amulets and why he wants the Orb.*
<Character>: DragonMaster? What's that? So he's not a DragonLord?
Twilly: As I was saying before Zorbak rudely interrupted, true Dragon Amulets don't break!
Twilly: Which means this "DragonMaster" had a fake! I wonder where it came from...
Frostscythe: That was a gift from my Queen! How dare you!
<Character>: So then you decided to attack Falconreach and the Guardian Tower for... an Orb?
Frostscythe: "An Orb"? HAHAHA! *sneeze* You do not even know what you are defending!
Frostscythe: To be beaten by someone who knows nothing, *cough* my Queen will be furious with this setback...
<Character>: I've beaten dragons, mad pyromancers, and I've beaten you as well. If this queen of yours wants "an orb", I'll take her on, too!
Frostscythe: Ha! If you are content with merely protecting the orb, you'll be no match for one who can unlock their true potential!
<Character>: What do you mean?
Frostscythe: You'll find out on your own soon enough... *cough*
<Character> (thinking): First, the Irismancer, now, this guy. Another cryptic answer...
*As Frostscythe is about to leave, he sneezes.*
Frostscythe: Now I know *coughs* who you are... Next time I'll be prepared! *Aaaaaachooooo!*
Frostscythe: You may have forced me to start over, but know this-- I will find the power. I WILL become a DragonLord! *Sneeze*
*Frostscythe leaves the scene.*
Twilly: Did the big frost boss guy just catch a cold?
<Character>, Twilly (in unison): *Chuckles*
*You then sneeze.*
<Character>: Aaaaaachooooo!
*Scene cuts to black.*
