ORIGINAL: Icemaster Yeti Not being able to see things in new quests - if you see "Line 1 Line 2 Line 3 etc" in an NPCs speech bubble at a new quest, make sure you have the latest version of flash, and clear your cache. So, I guess, my question is not for the "Graphics" topic, after all... Yesterday I took up AQ again (after a month of hard school study ;)), noticing that the recommended version of Flash has changed. I ignored it, since the game had worked perfectly well with v.7.01... After I logged on, I saw the upgraded Zardhunter quest. Getting to the point of helping that WhaleZard, I got two choice buttons, devoid of all text. So, I had to upgrade to 9.smth (the latest, whichever that is) Now, what got fixed: 1. Those empty text buttons. 2. The game's tendency of switching graphics quality mode - now it faithfully stays at Low, just as I like it. However, the text everywhere had grown. Well, maybe not everywhere, since monster info looks fine, but... This means that many pieces of text are unreadable - the end of every line and the last two-three lines move out of the text frames and disappear :..( This is a sample - the top of an NPC's talk box. http://i025.radikal.ru/0805/a5/8e951d3d05db.png Is there any way of changing the Flash font size to something smaller? That's Firefox on Linux, so something barbaric like editing the registry won't work :) EDIT: You'll have to do something arcane like edit a font config file somewhere in your linux system files. The font you want to mess with is whatever maps itself to the generic "sans-serif" font used within most of the text within the game. Also, try using different game screen sizes. The game was built using the 800x600 size. Other sizes may adjust the font incorrectly.
