Wilderock -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/16/2008 19:42:05)

How do I add brushes? It's not like there's a fonts folder that there is for adding fonts. I'm using Photoshop CS3 Extended. Any help is appreciated. I'm also using Windows XP if that matters.

2k2ewyn -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/16/2008 19:43:38)

Try here

Wilderock -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/16/2008 19:44:44)

Thanks. I just came back to delete my post after reading the front page and you were so quick to answer. XD

Thanks again.

warelink -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/17/2008 22:35:25)

i have a sprite when paste it the bacround wont get off what do i do

Nicky -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/18/2008 1:36:54)

What do you mean?

When you paste a sprite with a coloured background on it, you will have to remove the colour with a tool in whatever program you use.

Sir Red -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/19/2008 12:30:16)

how do I measure in PS(I'm making a sig and don't want it to be to big)

Dalesh -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/19/2008 12:41:48)

when you click ''new page'' you can chose the dimensions

Sir Red -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/19/2008 12:45:42)

no I'm try to crop something and I want to know how big the croping widow thingy is

Nicky -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/20/2008 1:41:51)

Make a signature out of a large image, you can:

a) Make a new document (control + N) of the size, and copy and paste the image into it, making the image the size of the canvas.

b) Press Control + R to make the ruler appear, and you can measure with that.

I hope thats what you were getting at.

Clyde -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/22/2008 0:25:15)

Alright how do I upload Brushes/Fonts? :o

Nicky -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/22/2008 2:59:52)

If you mean uploading as in to your computer:

Brushes: Downloading and installing brushes to Photoshop (PC)
Fonts: Copy the font file (that's the actual font file, the icon will have a letter on it) into C:/WINDOWS/Fonts.

Clyde -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/22/2008 15:02:10)

Thanks Nicky :3

Sara -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/22/2008 21:03:15)

How do I make an animated signature? Is it possible to do this in Photoshop? Thanks.

Peregrine Falcon -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/23/2008 14:29:58)

@sara: it is not possible in PS, but if u import it into Adobe Image Ready, u can do it

Sara -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/23/2008 20:34:32)

I have done it before.

Peregrine Falcon -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/23/2008 23:36:11)

from what i know, it is not possible...but if u have done it before, there must be a way...

Ferfo -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/23/2008 23:52:00)

it is ppossible in photoshop CS2 or newer, you go to window > animation

Nicky -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/24/2008 2:23:59)

Yeah.. What Ferfo said.

When you go to that menu it works exactly like imageready.

Sara -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/25/2008 18:03:41)

Thanks, but how do I save the file with the animation?

Peregrine Falcon -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/25/2008 22:59:53)

you can save it as a gif...it supports animation...

master dragon lord -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/25/2008 23:42:03)

you can also save it as a swf file it to also supporsts animation, i heard that there was a file called (APNG) you could also save as a APNG also supports aimation

Ferfo -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/26/2008 7:43:17)

what i believe they are trying to say is
go to file >> SAVE FOR WEB (NOT save, NOT save as), then, on the little dropout on the right, select gif from there, and yay, your all done ^^

Sara -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (2/26/2008 18:01:21)

Thank you all, so much! I just finished my animated signature! Check my profile. :)

Edit:

Is there any way to group the frames of a certain scene in folders like you can with layers?

Nicky -> RE: Photoshop Q&A Thread (3/4/2008 2:44:45)

Sorry for the late reply... Must have overlooked the topic.

But no.. You can't to the extent of my knowledge.

Glad it all worked out ^_^
