This seems as good a place as any to post this. Before the team had their unfortunate computer crash, I was replaying the ArchKnight quests in anticipation of the new one – refresh the story in my head and so forth (Edit: And try to get Ash's special abilities to trigger, I've never seen them). It’s not like it’s a screaming deal or anything, but I’m at the level cap and found it a little less satisfying to not be able to gain further experience. I know full well that I’d lose the extra at the next level cap increase, that’s not the issue at all, and I don’t mind the prospect of losing the “free” level either. I just personally feel that a potential accomplishment is gone. After you’ve done the quests and got the equipment you want, it can still be fun to see how much experience and gold you can get and a nice big wad of XP after a hard-fought quest is more satisfying than getting zero. I know some folks get frustrated at the thought of losing a bunch of earned experience at the level cap increase, but in my own mind whether you lose it or are unable to gain it in the first place amounts to pretty much the same thing. If you really don't want the extra XP, you can ignore it until it goes away, or just only play the new releases, y'know? Again, my core point is it seems an accomplishment for those of us who like to kill some time here and there with that sort of thing has been scrapped. Yeah, it's ultimately pointless, but that doesn't bother me - I just like playing. I’m interested in you guys’ honest opinion on the matter.
