Sorry for the long wait. Anyways, I've posted. A short post, to admit, but it's late at night and I'm tired. Nothing too complicated here, just a fancy midair acrobatics and some knife throwing.

Note: I expect Van to be surprised at the first knife, since Liam hasn't used his knives before in this battle, and noone's seen them so far.

Its long enough, mon frere. And remember, I probed your metals, and found no pure ones, but I feel I should've found at least one knife, its up to you to choose which one. Also, what did you do about your weapon situation?

Sorry for the late response, had to catch some sleep. I'm currently carying all my weapons, although am only able to use one due to most being tangled in your gold.

Edit: Forgot to tell you which knife you can notice. I don't mind if Van finds both in his probing, actually, so do what you will.

Edit2: TDK, same as my previous question to Mittoo, will Liam and Van be affected by your shockwave? They're currently duking it out near the entrance wall. And if it does, would the wind be enough to, say, set a thrown knife or two off course?

@ lycan: But Tyon doesn't know you had to gather the energy beforehand, does he?

Edit: And there goes the time we were missing from the fight - we were waiting for the other guy to make a move XD Fixes continuity quite well, though it'd have side effects - mainly Tyon being loaded up once more and Feng's bleeding - so it might not be the best solution.

If they're near the entrance, Ont, then probably not. They are probably the least likely to be affected by the shockwave, so I doubt it's going to affect the knives.

So demonhunter, as I read your post, you are running towards Jarvis at an impressive, but steady, gallop, stopping your forward motion at the appropriate time (when Jarvis is within your approximately 2 foot kicking range range, probably less given your stature) and converting that momentum to a kick at Jarvis's groin.

So, with a completely fathomable speed of approach, and no effort to dodge whatsoever, you leave yourself completely at the mercy of what happens at Jarvis's range of approximately 6 feet (3 feet for the arm, three feet for the sword) when the following declared attack is activated?

Just wanting to confirm, because I cannot at this point think of any possible reason Jarvis would miss when he chops down upon Jon with his blade a good, oh, three feet before he got into position, and I do not wish to bunny your character without permission.

Just thought I'd drop in and an ounce our surpassing of spike's post count.

edit: Got in another post. This one's really short though, all it is is some final preparations before Liam's attack and his response to Ed's shockwave thingy.

Well, the post is made. Too late now.

I wasn't sure whether your telekenisis would effect Jon as he was moving towards you. If it does have any effect, I leave it to you to decide.

Hmm... Way I see it, Jon thinks he's fast enough to get the kick off before Jarvis attacks.

EDIT: TDK: Evil, I'll grant you. Little? Not so much. 6 feet tall :P

Flamiiiiing death!

This is what happens when you let a fire fairy prepare an attack for THREE ROUNDS! Attacks of incredibly destructive power get unleashed.

It's entirely likely that the little, burning pools of Slag will remain ablaze until the mages come in after the competition ends and use magical means to put them out. So, until that time please consider the random burning puddles of doom to be a random terrain hazard. Hell, maybe one of them will remain indefinitely as a part of the arena for future competitions. ;-)

It would make him go slightly faster, and would make the kick harder if it connected, but Jarvis has what, 30 feet to react to the fact that you're running towards him while you are closing with him? And your speed is constant, and you don't swerve or anything? So he's not going to be caught by surprise, and he's already ready to attack... this is just a bit earlier.

So Jon can think that, but I'm pretty sure he's wrong. :-P

Edit: And the arenas are closed, so it's pretty much a moot point.
