Most evil? Odd, probably Sek enslaving a ton of people.

DF never went into detail with spells.

Apparently so. They ARE gods after all. I guess they are purely compressed pure forms of their element? Normal planets can't contain them I think.

That would probably work. The Lords themselves wouldn't appear, but you might be able to draw some power from the planes.

I'm kind of wondering how you can have a spell that summons that Avatars, since that would imply the spell having control over them.

 The spell doesn't summon the Avatars. The spell opened portals to the Elemental Planes. The Lords then possessed him because, well, he's a Servant. The Avatars and Alaric are on good terms, especially Voidstar, who gladly helped (all the Avatars)

And about the whole banishing thing, well, Alaric isn't such a forgiving person in battle

So Alaric can resurrect people too?

Also, only real issue I see is guns being around over 300 years ago.

Nevermind I see you're point. Yes, I believe Pirates were around back then. There's nothing in-game to suggest otherwise to my knowledge
